I came in for a cologne gift set for my nephew. Astrid helped me and was great! Every cologne suggestion she gave was on point. Not one bad suggestion. She was patient with me while I decided. Her attitude and energy was refreshing. Best customer service I have had in a long time. I will be back and would love assistance for her again!

Tonight I had the most phenomenal service by 1 sales lady, 1 salesman and cashier at exchanges around 8 pm. They were a delight and made my birthday memorable.

Dealt with an exceptionally rude gentleman (40s-50s) who was working in the return section on 4/20/26 at 7:30 pm. Since he was the only worker on that side of the store I politely approached him and asked if we could use the dressing rooms on that side of the store. He scowled at me and asked why I was talking to him. I said that I’d like to try on a couple pieces of clothing if it was possible. He shoo’d me away with his hands and said “uh yeah I don’t do that so you’re just going to have to go somewhere else I do returns so go away” Seriously shocked. Won’t be returning.

Viri Santizo

This mercado is basically an indoor Downtown L.A. or Plaza México in Lynwood, CA. It’s a Hispanic swapmeet so expect a little bit of everything. There are two seating areas in case you munch on snacks or foods, a barbershop/beauty salon to doll up, and lots more. There are restrooms too in case it’s needed. A con is I felt it was somewhat overpriced (my opinion). The AC made it very comfortable to shop around so the walk was enjoyable.

Mercado de los Cielos is like a flee market with a Latin theme. This place has a variety of products and stores, ranging from jewelry and souvenirs to home decorations and quinceanera apparel. It even has a cozy Mexican food court with yummy food. Located at the Desert Sky Mall, it is bigger than it appears at first glance. I totally recommend this gem 💎!

Jezze

I had no idea this place was this huge. This area is pretty much full of Mexican 🇲🇽 stores, services and restaurants all in one place. Candy stores, Barber shops, Electronics repair, Clothing stores, Paralegal services, etc… There’s is only one level and two entrance. There is no signage or diagram that shows what stores or services are located inside this facility. The layout is also somewhat confusing. There is no restrooms 🚻, unless you go to thier food area. There is plenty of parking 🅿️. The prices on most of the items and services are over the top 🤑. Also, many of these businesses don’t speak or understand any English which makes it difficult to purchase anything ☹️☹️.

While the store maintains an organized layout with various staff members available to assist, some shoppers have noted inconsistencies in customer service and management responsiveness during peak sales events.

The facility provides reliable amenities and generally clean surroundings for a pleasant shopping experience. However, improvements in consistent pricing accuracy and inclusive staff interactions could further enhance the overall atmosphere for all visitors.

Fish Man

Came in to check out some suits and dress shirts and noticed I was being followed around by a bigger, older, blonde lady, and a taller, lankier brunette, both white. They had the minority women behind the registers and in the back rooms. It was straight-up racial profiling. I was pegged as a potential thief the moment they caught onto my presence, and was treated as such the ENTIRE time. I could FEEL the gnarly, nasty, energetically racist vibes in my bones. It was quite vicious. That was my interpretation. From start to finish, the 15-20 minutes I spent inside this store were DEEPLY uncomfortable, humiliating, and rage-inducing. The slimmer, younger brunette was ALL over it, watching me like a HAWK, making it quite obvious, as if profiling me gave her job purpose. In-your-face, OVERT racism to the core. It filled me with DISGUST. It filled me with dark, viscous HATRED. What a cliche. I will not be back. Wretched, wretched times. Plus, they had a whole section covered in garbage bags.

The assistant manager, Erika, is amazing! I bought a suitcase from this location last year which had warranty on it. I tried to use the warranty this year, but I needed proof of purchase. I never saved the receipt, but Erika was able to find it and send me a copy. So grateful!

I haven’t been at this location for 3 years. This was originally my goto location until I went down to Chandler. Excellent excellent excellent is all I can say! This store has got a lot of people working here that seem to really enjoy working at this location. Overall attitude is great! The store obviously is clean and it shows in the attitude of the people they want a clean location. The shoppers are pretty cool, easy going people still. The wifi works excellent like every other location. The bathrooms are spotless too! They seem to be hitting hard on every level!

Here’s a polished version of your review that keeps your frustration clear while still sounding professional and credible: I visited Nordstrom Rack during the Memorial Day sales and was really excited to shop the deals. I found a pair of shoes that appeared to be on sale, but once I got to the register, I was told they had been mis-tagged by $34.97. After waiting almost 10 minutes for a price check, an employee confirmed the shoes were incorrectly tagged and said they could not honor the price without speaking to a manager. When the manager, Tim, arrived, his approach immediately felt dismissive. He looked me up and down and simply asked, “What can I help you with?” I politely explained the situation and asked if there was any way they could honor the price or offer some type of accommodation since the mistake was on the store’s end. Unfortunately, he made no effort to help, offer a discount, or even show understanding. He just stated there was “nothing” he could do. Having worked in retail myself, I understand that managers often have flexibility in situations like this, whether that’s honoring a price, offering a partial discount, or at least attempting to provide good customer service. Mistakes happen, but customer service is what really matters afterward. Sadly, this experience left me disappointed and feeling dismissed as a customer. I think Tim, the manager should of addressed this differently.

Last Chance in Phoenix offers a treasure hunt experience for bargain seekers. The store features an extensive inventory of footwear, apparel, and household goods. While the layout can be disorganized and the environment quite crowded, it provides significant opportunities to find designer discounts and high-quality items at fraction of their original prices.

Shoppers should prepare for a time-consuming search through densely packed bins and racks. Because the selection is so vast, patience is essential to navigate the aisles effectively. Despite the chaotic atmosphere, the store remains a destination for those prioritizing deep savings over a streamlined shopping experience.

If you enjoy the thrill of the hunt, this place is for you! I’m wearing the most amazing jeans right now that fit like they were made for me and soft as butter. $10 there, $104 on Nordstrom’s site. But you need to give yourself time to weed through the trenches. Loads. I was there for 90 minutes and didn’t get to the shoes. You will find some amazing pieces there.

Crowded and can get over stimulating. Men’s section is tiny. Mostly women’s shoes and clothes. They only had four mens belts, small bins of random socks and underwear, two short racks of pants and bottom ups, and a large section of suits and separates. Then a few short racks of shoes – mostly dress shoes. Decent place to put together a dressy outfit for a man if you can find a deal. Some prices still seemed high for a clearance store. They have so much stuff that lots of items are in the wrong size section which makes shopping frustrating. You finally find something you like but realize it’s the wrong size. Too many items that just need to be tossed. Suits with large tears, shoes missing laces and insoles, heavily used returned shoes. I was able to find some brooks ghost max 2 for $60 that had barely been worn and a pair of slacks for $8 after over an hour of browsing. I went to look 1.5-2 sizes up in the women’s sections for running shoes since the men’s section was so sparse.

Great selection! Good luck getting a cart. Everything’s final sale which I hate, because the dressing room always has a long line. Look your items over thoroughly because I have gotten home and missed scratches and such. Also they had my shoe size section blocked off today to restock, and it was really annoying because I was in a hurry and they took forever. It’s kind of like fighting a battle inside of here, but you can get good deals.

Be prepared for an Easter egg hunt! Merchandise scattered all over the store. After browsing my size mens shoe isle, and finding nothing, I ended up finding a pair of shoes my size exactly what I was looking for, in the women’s section while helping my wife look for shoes. There are plastic trash bins full of shoes all mixed together that you have to sort through. People everywhere, quite aggressive shoppers too. If you go prepared knowing you’ll have to deal with all this, you can walk out with some sweet deals.

Massive selection of dresses, swimwear, shoes, etc. Beware, they do close two hours before the mall closes (7pm) on weekdays. And they do make you bring your stuff up to check out before they close. Prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of the items. Stuff isnt cheap quality like the big box stores. Give yourself lots of time to look through the racks.

Came to check out their sale. Most of the items were gone. They do not have restrooms in the store. Also you can’t even try on any green tag merchandise. That’s wild. Like what if it doesn’t fit. Apparently if it doesn’t have a tag they can’t sell it to you either.

This was a very great place and especially for colonge or perfume lovers because they have great colonge that is popular and the employees are incredibly nice and they help you trying scents and being super helpful. The only thing that was hard for me is because I couldn’t find the main source of colonge at this particular Dillard’s. The colonge and perfum is just scattered around but was great. Overall, Dillard’s is amazing for fragrances, dresses, clothes, t shirts, and more. I highly recommend

Probably the worst Dillard’s I’ve ever seen. It would probably be easy to steal things here IF you wanted to steal things here… but they’re SO bad, nobody would ever want to steal anything here 😂 Found one person that works at the store – after looking hard! And she kept telling me that Juniors was in a different place every time I walked up to her – and every time I walked up to her, she didn’t seem to recognize me from the previous time, 2 minutes ago. First time visiting Cowtown Boots. Wife and I walked in we didn’t get greeted, we did get any assistance or even get acknowledged. We pretty much took care of ourselves. Finally while looking through some jeans we got asked if we needed help finding a particular size.. she was very nice and friendly. Bathrooms were clean and the interior of the store was well maintained and looked nice, lots of boots and clothes to choose from although they didn’t have my size jeans.. Anyway, I love the boots I bought. My first pair I’ve ever owned haha. They’re comfy and I’m really enjoying them..

Worst place ever! I have had now 3 bad experiences with this place so guess 3 strikes you out! The customer service is the worst no one wants to help or gives you attitude. Today walked in and security guy was pointing at the kids like they cant have their sucker which was in their mouth cuz they just got a haircut! Its called parenting the candy stays in the mouth and the trash in the trash we wanted one hair item but thats ok our bissiness was accepted at another place and the kids were allowed their small sucker. If he would have addressed it a little differently then you might have not got so much attitude back. They just kids and are respectful at that! I really do hope someone shuts them down soon lets bring in something with less attitude and ready to help you with your needs to our community!

I just don’t have to wait for shipping even though I can get it overnight for cheap but still need that in door shopping. Because i also can find so so many press on for my fingernails. I’ve been trying to save money, and they have SO MUCH variety. Customer service is amazing as well.

This place has cool variety of clothes, prices ranging from $7-$75, but my only concern is the harassment I recieved and constantly having workers beside me “looking through the clothes” on the racks for no reason, solely because my cart was full with clothes, and when I went to go change my clothes on 11/28/2025, some lady who’s by the fitting rooms, kept giving me attitude and giving me a death stare because I wanted to try all my clothes. Not only that, I had two earrings I had purchased, and they didn’t put it in my bag, before I leave any clothing store, I know up my bags, I’ve never lost an item I’ve ever purchased from the store, and only that day, they made me pay for those earrings and they didn’t put them in the bag. They also falsely advertised the earrings prices as 99 cents for “clearance” and each set was like $2.99. I will go in the store hopefully today, and see what they will do about this situation.

Been coming here for 16 years but the last two years have only came if I absolutely needed it. I would spend over $300 a trip here to get my clothes and beauty products and would always have a nice welcome from the skinny Latino security guy he’d always greet me and my kids that I’ve brought in as babies as would the owner but the last few times I’ve gotten the rudest service from both. I greeted the security and he literally rolled his eyes and turned his face and also the owner looked and acted really annoyed to scan my items. After that I just come here if i absolutely have to. I prefer to just order all my items online. As a paying customer I’m not going to deal with grown adult attitudes.

Do not bother wasting your money. I literally bought a pair of shoes for $80 Skechers are the only shoes I ever wear which I will not wear again after today. I bought a pair of shoes and literally wore them one time to work and they hurt my feet I could not wear them again I brought them into the store here at Metro Center and was told that they were not able to even exchange them I wasn’t even asking for my money back just an exchange because I had worn them. not because of the outside was worn but because the inside of the shoe was worn probably because of the type of socks I wear. But the outside of the shoe is perfect even the bottoms. This is ridiculous don’t waste your money! and I had my receipt. ! And the girl helping me was a smug rude little girl. good job Metro Center Skechers. obviously you need the $80 more than I do.

Helped me return an on line purchase…and he was new! He handled it calmly and professionally, even checking to see if any were avalible in his store, area stores or the state. (None of the 4 styles were.) He displayed customer service we all dream of.

Frequently asked questions about shoe stores in Phoenix

    What is a shoe store?

A shoe store is a retail establishment where various types of footwear are sold to the public. These shops typically offer a range of styles, including sneakers, boots, dress shoes, and sandals, often providing different sizes and widths to accommodate various needs. They serve as a primary destination for consumers to browse, try on, and purchase footwear for personal or professional use.

How do you choose the right shoes?

Choosing the right shoes involves balancing personal style, intended use, and physical comfort. When selecting footwear, it is important to consider the level of arch support, the cushioning provided, and how the shoe fits your specific foot shape. Testing different styles on various surfaces can help ensure the shoes provide the necessary durability and comfort for your daily activities.

What is the difference between different types of shoes?

The differences between shoes are primarily defined by their construction, materials, and intended purpose. For example, athletic shoes are designed with specialized cushioning for movement, while formal shoes prioritize aesthetic appeal and structured materials. Understanding these distinctions helps consumers select the appropriate footwear for specific environments, such as sports, work, or casual outings.

    Why are shoes important?

Shoes are important because they provide essential protection, support, and health benefits for the feet. They shield the feet from environmental hazards like sharp objects or extreme temperatures while maintaining proper alignment of the skeletal structure. Selecting the correct footwear can also prevent discomfort and long-term issues related to posture and gait.

What do shoe stores do with unsold shoes?

Shoe stores typically manage unsold inventory through various methods such as clearance sales, seasonal markdowns, or returns to the manufacturer. Some retailers may donate remaining stock to charitable organizations or sell items in bulk to outlet centers. These practices help the store clear warehouse space while ensuring that products are recycled or repurposed effectively.
