Desert Botanical Garden is a well laid out desert garden experience. There is a lot of signage for directions and explanations of plants. I just happen to be here in the summer so expect the heat. The gardens close between 1pm and 5 pm during peak temperatures in the summer. However, your paid entry price in the morning will allow you to return in the evening. Just keep the receipt. During the summer, there is an “after dark” shimmering light display along some paths. The gardens also offer an on site restaurant “Gertrude’s” and a gift shop. This is a great place for Botanical garden enthusiasts.

We stopped here during our last day in Phoenix and came in the early morning. We came in the middle of August. We were impressed by the easy navigation of the gardens, but a couple of the spots were closed unfortunately. I loved getting to see all of the native plants and cacti. There was such a large variety. We also saw a number of cool animals such as ground squirrels, a roadrunner, birds, butterflies, and tons of quail. They had a number of water stations which was appreciated and a cooling center which was a great stop towards the end. Overall very well maintained and kind staff. For a botanical garden, they also had a pretty good gift shop where we picked up a couple things.

Beautiful setting. A bit pricey considering you’re walking around the same scenery after awhile but it is beautiful and I’m sure the costs are up there. I’d recommend booking ahead of time on their website to reserve a spot. Gretchen’s restaurant (on site) smelled amazing too! The park also has a nice little gift shop

The Desert Botanical Garden is one of my favorite places in the Valley. The plants are absolutely beautiful, and there is always something interesting to see no matter what time of year you visit. As a photographer, I love all the textures, colors, and unique Arizona scenery. It’s a gorgeous spot for senior portraits and family photos, but it’s also just a great place to slow down and enjoy nature. If you’re visiting Phoenix or looking for something different to do locally, I highly recommend spending a few hours here. And don’t forget your camera—you’ll leave with plenty of beautiful photos.

One of the best botanical gardens I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. Went on a Wednesday evening, bought tickets there, no wait. Well maintained, friendly check in, and rich in wild life…. I loved seeing all the different kinds of cacti and plants. Saw bunnies, snakes, roadrunners, and many kinds of birds. Sunset was absolutely beautiful and loved seeing how the plants lit up at night. So beautiful. I will be visiting again!

Came here for the night lights in July and it was amazing. The way well placed lighting can showcase, textures and aspects of the plants is not to be understated. The color palette is definitely a bit psychedelic, which gives it a very dreamy feel. Artfully built grounds that are just beautiful to walk around and even during the day and a really fantastic variety of desert adapted plants from around the world with good interpretation signs about the differences.

Would absolutely recommend a trip to the desert botanical garden! I was visiting AZ for a short two day trip and this was a really nice way to experience and learn about some of the native Arizona vegetation all in one place. Chihuly glass is an added bonus – I just love those art pieces! Even more beautiful seeing them lit up at night on the way out. Parking wasn’t hard to find and it was free. We did book in advance, but probably didn’t need to based on the crowd level when we went around 6pm. Definitely worth the visit!!

We hosted our daughter’s baby shower at The Boho Space, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Jude was an incredible host who went above and beyond and was always quick to respond to any questions, making the planning process easy and stress-free. The venue was spotless, impeccably maintained, and the plants added a natural, charming touch to the décor. The space is very spacious, allowing plenty of room for activities, and the variety of table sizes made setup flexible. Overall, a 5-star experience, we highly recommend! Thank you Jude!

The Boho Space is definitely a hidden gem! We booked this venue for my daughter’s ASU graduation celebration, and several family members complimented how beautiful and unique the space was. The owner was amazing and communicated with me very well throughout the entire rental process. I booked the venue for three hours on a Friday evening, and the price was very affordable. They also provide tables and chairs at no additional cost, which was a huge plus. We were able to bring our own food and drinks, and the venue even has an iPad available for music, which worked perfectly for our event. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for an affordable, beautiful, and stress-free space to host your special event.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my daughter’s graduation party at The Boho Space! and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. Jude and his nephew went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without any stress. They were attentive, friendly, and always available when we needed assistance. This venue made my daughter’s graduation celebration even more memorable, and I’m so grateful for the wonderful experience. Jude has created such a beautiful and warm space here! We were scrambling to find a replacement venue for our small wedding and the universe really delivered with this one! Beautifully decorated with live plants and mirrors we only needed to add a few touches of our own to make this space the reception of my dreams. The guests all lived it and felt it for our aesthetic perfectly and Ai could t agree more. Jude was very communicative with us, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed to make this a memorable time. We opted for pre set up in which Jude had all our tables and chairs set up beforehand and it saved so much time, especially because in typical weddings g day fashion, everything g was running behind. The sound system is amazing, I loved the lighting options, and he even lent us a PA speaker for our MC. Everything I could want and more! Convenient restroom in the suite for easy access and the small storage room was perfect to use to store the Buffett so we could have more space in the actual main area (suggestion by Jude and VERY thankful for). If you’re looking for a space for smaller intimate events 50 and under this is your spot. Trust me!

I would recommend this place to anyone! It was such a good place to host for a baby shower, especially if you plan on having a small group. Jude was amazing with getting back to me super fast and giving me all the details I had asked for. Communication was a 10/10 let alone! The space was BEAUTIFUL! I absolutely loved all the plants and the lights were awesome to play with. The natural lighting was also a plus! I’d definitely book at this place again! Pricing was the best out of all venues I had looked at!

I had my baby shower at the Boho Space and had an awesome experience. Compared to other venues we considered, it was very affordable, and having free onsite parking was a huge bonus for our guests. The owner was exceptionally responsive, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. He even assisted us with setting up tables that morning, which made a big difference and allowed us to finish early and actually relax before everyone arrived. He also followed up after the event to check in, which I really appreciated. The space itself was spotless, full of natural light, and had such a warm, welcoming energy with all the plants. So many of my guests commented on how lovely it was. I highly recommend the Boho Space for any special event!

We held our wedding reception at The Boho Space in early June, and we’re so glad we did. As it was a small wedding we were so happy to find this venue. Jude was so helpful, and the venue was perfect – beautifully decorated, well equipped with tables and chairs, easy to find, and with great parking. But it was Jude that made it special. From dealing with enquiries from the UK to being so flexible in accommodating our requests, he was a superb host and owner. We can wholeheartedly recommend The Boho Space as a venue. Best experience with Secret Garden!! We started touring venues in July 2024. When we met with Madisson we knew right away this was where we wanted to get married. During the whole planning process they made it soooooo easy and stress free. They hosted multiple open house nights where we got to try all the food and meet the other vendors. At our final planning meeting we walked through everything with Madisson and she reassured me on any and all questions I had. We truly had the best wedding day because of Maddison and Kelli and the secret garden team! I am very type A so trusting others to execute our wedding day was very hard for me but this team did not disappoint one bit! Everything was perfect!! Our guest are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was and how amazing the food was. Thank you Secret Garden, Maddison and Kelli for the best night of our lives! We miss you guys already!!!!

Easiest planning process, most beautiful venue, and the best vendors & staff!!! Secret Garden was a bit higher than our original budget, but it was 100% worth every penny. We planned our wedding from out of state, and actually booked our date without even seeing the venue! But it was a breeze working with the SG team; we never felt overwhelmed especially with the planning binder they mailed us. All planning details, vendors, payments, zoom calls, EVERYTHING was so easy and organized. There were moments where we forgot we had a wedding coming up because Secret Garden staff took all the stress off us. Rehearsal was a breeze, then our wedding day was so beautiful and ran so smoothly!! The staff (especially our day-of coordinator Stephanie) made sure we all had everything we needed and more- they even surprised us with a framed photo of me and my new hubby on our sweetheart table!!! They must have secretly snapped a pic while we were walking down the aisle and quickly printed. The little details like that really made our day perfect. The house & outdoor venue beauty speak for themself, and our guests raved to us about the ceremony space, delicious food & dinner under the stars as well as loving the indoor-outdoor setting. I wish I could give 10000/5 stars THANK YOU SECRET GARDEN

Secret Garden by Wedgewood was truly our dream venue! From the initial tour, we loved how beautiful and timeless the setting was. Wedgewood was incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. Everything was organized, clear, and thoughtfully planned. Our day-of coordinator, Abigail, was an absolute gem. The same goes for our banquet captain, Karen. They were professional, calm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to them, we were able to fully enjoy our day without a single ounce of stress. The food and drinks were excellent! We got so many compliments from our guests. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more, and we owe so much of that to the incredible team at Secret Garden and highly recommend.

I couldn’t say more good things about this venue. They provide wedding packages that support in making things so much easier than they can be. Upon booking we were provided with a binder that provided thorough information around the entire planning process as well as timelines and package options to customize and create for a beautiful day and experience. The team that this venue offers are all amazing and flexible. They were able to reschedule meetings to best accommodate our schedules and truly created a stress free environment when planning. They were so on top of eery detail and made the entire day run so smooth and seamless. The day ended up being better than I could have asked for thanks to their wonderful team. All of our guests raved about the food, venue, drinks and more. Again we really couldn’t say more good things!

My fiancé got married at the Secret Garden last week and WOW we are still reeling in how fantastic it was. All of our guests continue to comment on what a wonderful venue it was and what an amazing time they had. Not only is the venue stunning, but all of the staff and partner vendors were tremendous. All of the staff works together to ensure a smooth and amazing night and planning process. Our coordinator was Gianna and she was AMAZING, so helpful, responsive, and created an environment of calm and fun. We had issues due to our mistakes – I had missed communicating a vegan and vegetarian meal, we had some guests swaps day of/during the ceremony — and Gianna took care of it seamlessly and graciously. She ensured us all was okay and handled it. We had missed grabbing our stuff at the end of the night and they were so helpful for us to go get it in the morning and helped us bring it to our car. The florals were BEAUTIFUL, the food was delicious, the DJ was incredible 11/10. We are so so happy with choosing the Secret Garden as our venue. Absolutely loved it and would choose again in a heartbeat.

Our experience hosting an anniversary party at the Teapot was fantastic. I heard nothing but great feedback from everyone who attended. The space is perfect for up to 100 people but felt very intimate for 50. Being able to choose your own food and vendors made the difference in budget. Shading, helpful owners, a beautiful space, easy parking for downtown Phoenix, and the play area for children were all appreciated. Our photographer easily captured the details, had spaces for large group photos, and candids.

We truly can’t thank Jonathan and The Teapot team enough for making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be. From day one, Jonathan was responsive, calm, and genuinely helpful. He even helped us build out a timeline, which made the whole planning process feel way less overwhelming. They answered every email (and there were a lot 😅) and were so supportive during rehearsal, making sure we felt confident going into the big day. We loved that we could bring in our own caterer, DJ, and décor to really make it ours — but they also offer rentals and vendor suggestions if you need them, which makes planning so much easier. The space is beautiful, intimate, and everything flowed so smoothly. It was truly such a special place to start our marriage. We highly recommend the Teapot. 💛 Cheers!!!

Great place to host events. Staff is very friendly and the owner is great to work with! Located in a business area of Phoenix so no issues with street parking on the weekend. Easily accessible. Good sized indoor bathroom and a coffee/bar area where guest can order drinks. They allow outside catering or you can choose to go with them. They have sound system set up for the outside and provide tables, chairs, and umbrellas included in the cost. I would highly recommend it!

We celebrated our mom’s 50th birthday. Johnathon and Ellie were extremely great hosts and helped us decorate when we were in a time crunch. They were attentive, checking in and accommodating to our requests for the party. The kids enjoyed the play area for and the space had a little bit of everything for all ages. Will definitely like to have another party here!

The Teapot is perfection! We have hosted three different events (bridal shower, after wedding brunch, baby shower) at this space and all have gone wonderfully! Jonathan (and all the staff we have worked with) are so helpful and kind. They are accommodating and understanding and truly go above and beyond to make sure that your event is just how you want it. Highly recommend this event venue!

Krystal helped us during our appointment and she was incredible—so positive, attentive, and really understood my vibe right away. I’m not traditional and have always wanted a black wedding dress. While they had some beautiful black wedding dress options, I actually ended up falling in love with a black prom dress instead—and it was perfect for me. And under $300 😱 she found me the perfect matching black veil, and some other accessories to go with my dress. I also love that I’m gonna get to have it altered right there in the store six weeks before my big day! What really stood out was how supported and comfortable she made the whole experience. She even took the time to help my mom find an outfit for the big day, which meant so much to us. The staff here have been absolutely stellar both times I visited. The Sales Associate for my first visit was very kind, knowledgeable, and understanding of my family video chatting my sister and taking a plethora of photos (remaining respectful of other clients’ privacy of course) so that she could help decide on the bridesmaid dress. And the seamstress who did all the pinning and such for the alterations appointment was very patient with my awkward self throughout the entire appointment and meticulous with every pin placed so my dress would fit perfectly once she finishes! Every team member I encountered outside my assigned Associate and the seamstress were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They made the entire process smooth, comfortable, and stress-free, and I always felt welcomed when I walked through the door. Excellent customer service from start to finish. I absolutely would recommend this location to anyone in need of formal dresses and would return when it comes time for my own wedding/bridesmaids dress shopping in the future! 10/10 all around! A special thanks to my stylist Crystal who went above and beyond to find me the most gorgeous bridal gown as she made sure I felt just as beautiful in it. Just had the most wonderful experience today at Luv Bridal. My sister Kylie found her wedding dress!! Summer was so attentive and brought so much energy and fun to her fitting. I had a fantastic shopping experience at Luv Bridal with Rebeca as my stylist. I flew in from Chicago to try on dresses over a few days in March. I went into the appointment not knowing what style I wanted, other than a sleeveless white dress. Rebeca was great in helping me figure out what I liked (and didn’t like) and was patient as I took my time to figure out how I felt in each dress I tried on. I wanted to take a few days before purchasing my dress, so I did not buy it during my first visit. After two days, Rebeca and Jenna were extremely helpful in making a last-minute appointment for me to try on and purchase my dress before I flew back home. 10/10 would recommend going to Luv Bridal, especially for the brides who are a bit intimidated by wedding dress shopping. Everyone was kind and supportive throughout the entire process!

10/10 experience!! this was my first bridal shop I went to so I went in with no expectations! I was met with so much fun energy, very accommodating. Amanda was my stylist and she helped me find my dream dress! She was very helpful and really knew the store well and what I was looking for. Summer also helped me when I returned to buy the dress and she was equally amazing! Compared to other bridal shops in the area, Lux Bridal really stood out!! They are attentive to what you are looking for and not pushy at all… they just want you to be happy.

They were easy to work with and coordinated everything on the back end quickly, delivering fast, well-structured proposals with clear pricing across multiple tiers. On set, they were efficient and professional, needing virtually no guidance to set up every shot and execute exactly what I needed. (They also provide calm, encouraging direction, making even the most camera-shy folks comfortable.) Their editing process was excellent and error-free, with drafts that required only minor tweaks. I would give Julio 100 stars if possible. My husband found him due to our photographer bailing on us 2 weeks before our vow renewal. Julio fit us in and was able to do our photos for us. He is so much fun to work with. He made me and my husband feel relaxed and comfortable. The session was absolutely a blast. Secondly he was beyond accommodating. He absolutely went above and beyond for us. His eye for detail is a gift and his vision was just what we were looking for. He cares greatly about his work and making his clients happy. I can not say how much we appreciate him, and his work. We LOVE ALL the photos he did for us. I love them all so much I can’t decide what one is my favorite. He is very professional, and a absolutely amazing photographer. Thank you Julio for the beautiful photos that I will treasure for always. We will deff book with him again for our family photos later this year. Everyone on his team as well were extremely professional with us. Julio was amazing, from our engagement shoot to our wedding day! He made us feel comfortable and definitely knew how to make it so fun! Recently got to come back to this studio for an event and once again, Julio never disappoints. He’s always super helpful in getting everything set up and I love having the lights as a part of the studio rental. The spotlight room is by far a favorite of mine. Can’t wait to shoot there again!
