Delicious casual plant based restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the front, get a number and your food is brought out to you. We ordered the peanut chicken salad, the DamnDan noodles and the Big WAC burger; everything was super good. Good staff who were helpful in their recommendations. Would definitely come back.

When I’m in Phoenix from out of town, this is my go-to spot. I’ve been to the one in Tempe and loved it so many times, so I had to check their other location out. Food is killer every time. No complaints. The spicy po-boy is amazing, and their buffalo sauce definitely has a kick! Their shoestring fries are truly some of the best, and the quasi-dilla appetizer was super cheesy and full of flavor! The staff is all super nice, and food comes out quickly every time, even when they’re busy. Would definitely recommend!!

This was the first place I went to eat in Arizona and wow what a gem! I had the big wac and my partner had the dan dan noodles. The burger was one of the best vegan burgers (or actually any burger even before I was vegetarian) I’ve had in my life. Also really enjoyed their homemade fountain beverages. We followed our meal up with some ice cream next door which was also very good. I’ll definitely be returning here whenever we visit again.

Green New American Vegetarian is the real deal. We got two Big WACs with the West Coast fries and they far exceeded our expectations, exactly the kind of vegan comfort food we needed after spending time at the Grand Canyon. The staff were incredibly nice, the atmosphere was great, and the food was made with so much love. Awesome lunch or dinner spot. And the best part? You can walk right next door to Nami for vegan soft serve and other comfort food treats to round out the meal. If you’re in the Phoenix area, this combo is absolutely worth checking out.

Very fresh, honest, and reliable service and food. Thank you for making my first time the best time. Give everyone raises! They all worked hard and made this customer one of the happiest that ever walked through those doors! I want to return and bring others so they too can enjoy this classy spot, the hospitality, and delicious food. Thanks for opening your arms and welcoming me tonight. I will return.

Just stopped at True Food Kitchen on my way to the airport and the food and service were excellent. I ordered their seasonal puffed sourdough and whipped ricotta as a starter and the chicken parm with spaghetti squash. Soooo delicious! And I got the ancient grains bowl to go. The best part was the service. Amber was great! She was very attentive, asked about preferences & allergies, and made sure everything was quick so I can make it back to the airport. Highly recommend.

This is my second time here, and I keep coming back for a reason. I couldn’t bring myself to try anything different because the cauliflower date appetizer is just that good, absolutely delicious. And of course, I had to go with the Parmesan chicken again, which did not disappoint. Everything was really good, from the food to the service. On top of that, the menu feels fresh and healthy, which is a big plus. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Went to TFK for a late lunch and left very satisfied. Very cozy atmosphere when you walk in. We were seated promptly. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious. Crispy, tender, and felt very clean. The Asian salad and glass noodles were also very tasty and packed with fresh, healthy ingredients. It is a little pricey, but overall, we had a great experience.

Every time I come here, the food is so good! One of my favorites is the Korean noodle bowl. It’s gluten free and filling and very flavorful. I like to get it with tofu and the tofu is flavorful too. I always feel good after eating here and the service is always very friendly and quick. The one thing about this place is that the lady’s bathroom is a bit unkept. But overall the restaurant and service as a whole makes up for it. They have a really nice outdoor patio if you want to sit outside. Just know that it can be a bit loud inside the restaurant. Depending on the time and at of the week, parking can be a bit hard to find but there is valet service. If you haven’t checked out True Food yet, you’re missing out on a healthy and delicious lunch or dinner!

One of our favourite places for vegan food! Can’t go wrong with street style mexican food. The staff is really nice. We asked for loaded nachos but actually wanted it on fries and we didn’t communicate that clearly. But they still happily remade the order. They went above and beyond to make their customers feel welcomed! Rare to see these days

Everything on the menu is vegan.I ordered the chicken, carne asada and dragon fruit tacos with rice and beans. My friend ordered the chicken burrito. She had never eaten vegan food but we loved the food with an exception to the beans. The burrito was delicious. There was friendly staff, clean restaurant. Left feeling blessed!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now. It’s just kind of far for us, but we were in the area and tried it for dinner. Their tacos were phenomenal! We also tried their fries, and torta. Everything tasted amazing, but their tacos are definitely where it’s at! We will definitely be back, and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Who doesn’t like tacos! And when you find vegan that’s a real treat! Many options here to choose from. I got 5 tacos : asada, al pastor and Pollo with guacamole on top. And also a burrito 🌯 The tacos were good especially the Pollo one.. well cooked and texture just looked like real meat however it lacked flavour. It felt dry and felt like there wasn’t any juice or seasoning in the plantbased eat itself. As I don’t prefer hot salsa. Just with the guacamole it felt bland. I have eaten vegan tacos elsewhere in different cities and the meat definitely had its own flavor mixed with lemon juice and seasoning…so I was expecting the same kind of taste… Nevertheless the staff was friendly and fast service.

Where do I even begin? This is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in the States. Everything is vegan and everything is made with love. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and seemed to genuinely love what they were doing, cooking great food and serving the people of Phoenix. The flavors were unreal, everything tasted so fresh, and the menu is wild, with tons of awesome specials on rotation. If you’re coming from the airport or exploring Phoenix (vegan or not), Tacos Veganos has the best Mexican comfort food at an amazing price, do not skip this place.

Came up from Tucson. Wow this taste very authentic for vegan. As always my partner is vegetarian so I have to go to the places she wants to eat at. Welp! This place was the best! I kid you not it was delicious and incredibly flavorful. The service was also spectacular- they were patient with us when we didn’t know what we wanted. I highly highly suggest eating here not only if you’re vegan but even if you eat meat!! You won’t regret it.

5 stars for food, service and atmosphere. My husband and I were in town for the weekend and we always look for vegan restaurants. This is one of the best we’ve been to. We had the chilaquiles and the chimichaga. Delicious, oh and the pancakes – so buttery. Best I’ve had. Service was great, the owner, I believe his name was Juan was super welcoming and helpful! We will be back!

The food was really good. The specials all sounded really good, and the menu had a bunch of great stuff on it. Ended up getting the biscuits and mushroom gravy, and had no complaints. The gravy was peppery and full of flavor. Service at our table left a bit to be desired, but the people behind the bar were very kind, and the staff all seemed very happy. The music was blasting, though. Combo’d with a screaming baby in my ear from the table behind me didn’t exactly set the vibe. But I would definitely recommend and go back again

Voluptuous Vegan

Hands down one of the best vegan food experiences I’ve had in Phoenix. The Coronado absolutely delivers on flavor, texture, and vibe. Walking in honestly felt like stepping into Vampire Lestat’s lair — dark, moody, romantic energy… very Anne Rice novel in the best way possible. Super unique atmosphere, tarot card menus (obsessed), and there’s also a really cool vibey coffee shop next door owned by the same folks. What I love most? This place is 100% plant-forward but they don’t scream “vegan restaurant” anywhere — it just shows up as a restaurant. And you can tell because plenty of non-vegans were there simply because the food is that good. Nothing was oversalted or over-seasoned, sauces tasted house-made, and everything felt intentional. The Cali burrito was fantastic, the fried guacamole was surprisingly light and delicious (not greasy at all), and the potato tacos were honestly divine. Only small gripe: I wanted to mix taco flavors and was told no — tacos only come in pairs of the same kind. Didn’t love that, especially since I was happy to pay any upcharge just to try a few varieties. That aside, service was friendly, we were seated quickly for early dinner, and overall it was a great experience. I’d absolutely come back and recommend it to vegans and non-vegans alike. Total vibe.

I stayed overnight near the airport and looked for a place that served vegan breakfast. What a find! The restaurant is located in a neighborhood in the Coronado Historic district, not some crowded strip mall with a busy parking lot. There was seating inside but I sat outside under huge mesquite trees that kept the temperature comfortable. It was a nice atmosphere. The owner waits on customers and enthusiastically tells them about the different items, all thoughtfully very different. There were lots of dishes I wanted but settled on the Pale Desert, a tofu scramble topped with a large biscuit and gravy. I also got a side of roasted potatoes. My meal was delicious. I also bought this home made rosemary chocolate chip cookies to go. Haven’t tried them yet but my I guess they too will be delicious.

One of my absolute favorite spots in Phoenix! I have been coming here for years and am consistently met with delicious food and warm vibes (great spot for out of town guests too). The chilaquiles en salsa guajillo and the fried guacamole are some of my favorite staples here. Their mocktails are also fantastic so I assume their drinks are the same. They occasionally have “themed” nights with different menus so keep an eye out for those!!

Best vegan spot I’ve found in Phoenix thus far. Food was 10/10. Flavor was amazing. Portions are great. Welcoming staff and atmosphere. Superb service. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. We really enjoyed the menu presentation by Juan. There are so many delicious options to choose from! Definitely stopping by again next time I’m down in Phoenix. Also, they donate clothes and items to those less fortunate so feel free to bring items you may not need that others can use.

My food was just sitting on the counter even though I ordered to go. No bags? No utensils? Ok cool! Bagged it myself… Saw a staff snap a quick selfie in the corner. lol (aesthetics over service) Nonetheless, the girl at the register was very polite and helpful. Steak overcooked. Flavors are bursting out of the bowl. The proportion was good and very filling.

I’ve been coming to Flower Child for a while and most of their dishes have been great. Their new Shrimp Fra Diavolo is the standout for me because it is packed with flavor while still being lighter and healthier, and the chicken kabob and chicken yakisoba are also worth trying. The service is always friendly and the place is clean which makes every visit really enjoyable.

This is a super cute restaurant great for lunch and dinner! They have a lot of seating packed into a small area so it can get a little loud during the lunch rush, but not unbearable. They also have a wide selection of beer and alcohol, as well as seasonal drinks. The sangrias are especially amazing and I would highly recommend you try some whenever they are on the menu! They have a lot of vegetarian options as well as healthy plates that are still delicious. Portion sizes are perfect!

I recently revisited Earth Plant Based Cuisine after a couple of years, and I was so excited to find out it’s now super close to my new job, perfect lunch spot! And just like the last time I had it, they did not disappoint. I ordered the BBQ wings, which have always been a favorite of mine, and I was honestly in awe experiencing them again. The fact that they’re served on a sugar cane stick makes them even more unique, and the texture is so enjoyable. They’re packed with flavor and easily one of the best items on the menu. I also tried the carnitas (mushroom) tacos, and they were so good juicy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with soft tortillas. It was truly a party in my mouth. I enjoyed both dishes so much. To top it off, I got the strawberry cheesecake milkshake and wow… I will be getting this every single time. It’s the perfect sweet treat, especially as it starts heating up here in Phoenix. Overall, everything was delicious, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to as of today. I’m thrilled it’s right down the street. Even people who weren’t vegan were dining here when I came. The quesadilla and consume were so flavorful and delicious. Hearty food for a vegan place, which was a good surprise. The milkshake was great, and I’m excited to go back for more. The interior was clean and well decorated with a cute outdoor seating area as well.

The food was good and as an added bonus, it’s all plant based! I enjoyed the elote corn-on-the cob and BBQ Sandwich. My only note is that I would’ve liked a little less sauce but it was still delicious. My mother had the fries and a mini quesadilla. The fries were nice and crispy and the quesadillas were super cheesy.

The Carnitas mushroom tacos were amazing! Those handmade corn tortillas are delicious. The only thing that would make this place better is if they served margaritas. 😊

This is my favorite restaurant I’ve ever ate at. They have the most amazing vegan food I’ve ever tried. Sadly I don’t live in Arizona but whenever I am near I will add extra days to my trip just so I can come eat here. Would recommend for all vegans and non vegans.

This place is AMAZING!! There are so many amazing choices to choose from it took a while to decide! In the end we had Buffalo wings, a huuuge chorizo/potato burrito, pancakes and a cookies and cream milkshake. Can’t recommend this place enough. It was so good, the portions were big and the staff were so friendly. You must visit this place for some of the best vegan food!

From the very sweet register girl, to the extremely prompt service, to the AMAZING food, WOW. I was pretty blown away with our experience here. We got our beverages and sat down, it might not have even been 1 minute before our food was delivered. I was blown away at how fast it was. The food was amazing. We shared the Turkey & Avocado Cobb Salad – perfection in every single bite. We also had the Classic Hummus – extremely fresh tasting. All around I was blown away by this quick lunch stop. I wish we had one where I live.

It was my first time here, and both the staff members who helped me were so lovely. Ordered the chicken med bowl with Greek salad and it had amazing flavor and was incredibly good. Thanks for the extra treats for being a first time customer.. the brownie and lemon muffin are my favorite! definitely will be back.

The food was definitely the star 🌟 🤩 here! Atmosphere was upbeat with a variety of food options. Perfect for a vegan, vegetarian and meat eater. Very healthy choices. They offer inside and outside eating options which we enjoyed because it was freezing inside to the point my husband got a headache, so we went outside. Did not enjoy that they had water shooting out the entire time misting unwanted water while you eat. Another table got up and went inside because most ladies don’t want to sit in misty water while trying to be cute on a Friday night out. But again, the food here is the hero, so maybe next time we’ll just get it to go.

Super amazed at how delicious our food was! Definitely recommend for some healthy yummy food 🤗 Staff is super nice and helpful too. My daughter got tofu, with Mac and cheese, and kung pow cauliflower. I got the same sides but with steak. We both had mango ice tea 🙂 Everything had great flavor and was perfectly cooked. Will definitely recommend and will definitely return!!

Love this place! My wife and I came for lunch, and we had a great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was friendly, and our food came out quickly. The lemonade was refreshing and paired perfectly with the salmon, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese. The only small downside was that it was a little hard to hear the girl taking our order, but overall we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

Theyre super attentive to online orders! As soon as you walk in, they ask your name and check you in. The handsome black man helping us today actually brought out water to my dog, unprompted. It was just such a thoughtful act. I will say – I normally love the corn and quinoa, but they don’t execute it well at this location. Everything else is incredible and the staff is amazing, quick, and very attentive.

Staff that I interacted with at the counter were incredibly nice and my food came out very quickly, but when I got home and opened my takeout, it was a pretty disappointing presentation and very minimal vegetables and sweet potatoes. Not worth $17.

Friendly and quick service. The care they put into their food is felt. The first time my husband I went, we ordered cream cheese wanton, Hakka tofu, Malaysian Curry(extra spicy) with tofu, and General Tso Chicken with brown rice. Crazy crispness on the General Tso. We have ordered multiple times since then. Top tier vegan food.

I’ve been to this plaza several times for other businesses, but I never saw this restaurant! I am so glad I tried it out! The taste of “chicken” is so on point that I kept questioning my friend if this place is really vegetarian. Oh my!! It’s soo good! I took a bite of the mutton curry, but I found it to be bland. I do have to say I love my curry super spicy (like burning my tongue) though. I do have to say that because of too much grease, the bottom of the rice in the clay pot is not crispy. I wish they can improve on that. The service is smooth. Wait time for the dishes is just right. I went on a weekday, so there was no wait time for a table. They also have a tucked in, more private area for a small party if needed. I also tried the honeydew juice, which is very refreshing. If this place is closer to where I live, I would pick this over a boba tea.

This is the best vegetarian food we’ve had in Arizona. We had a lovely time here with family—the atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while and I’m very glad I did today. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was inside and how caring the people working there are. The food was fantastic and there are plenty of options for everyone. The cream cheese crab wontons were so tasty! Has a very mom and pap feel and I loved it! If you’ve been considering checking it out do yourself a favor and just go try it.

I absolutely loved the experience at Vegan And Vine! We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and the Chilaquiles (Saturday & Sunday Brunch menu) and both were incredible! Full of flavor and you’d never guess they’re completely plant-based. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. You can really feel the care that goes into this family-owned spot. If you’re looking for amazing, cruelty-free comfort food, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back!

My brunch experience here was the highlight of my whole trip to Arizona. My non vegan wife didn’t leave a single drop left on her vegan chicken fried steak plate and I devoured the vegan biscuits and gravy. We thought we were too full to really enjoy the beignets but we ended up eating every single one. To top it all off, the staff were so amazing it made us feel like we were just enjoying a meal at home with company. This place is the definition of a vegan restaurant anybody would enjoy. Must visit! Wish we took more pics but our eyes got so big when we saw the plates, we dove right in.

i went here with my aunt and grandparents for my 16th bday dinner and it was sooo good. i personally am not vegan, just my grandparents are, but honestly i didn’t even notice a difference with the meals. my favorite part was the cauliflower appetizer and our beignets dessert, our server, also named kayley (tbh don’t think i spelled that right) was soooo accommodating and nice!

Visiting the Phoenix area this week we ate here 3 times. All times I got the cheeseburger. No issues. Tonight though we ordered DoorDash and we got two cheeseburgers. We noticed they were different than what we have gotten all week. These are real Meat! Not plant based patties like we ordered or have gotten before. We had our non vegan friend try it and he believes it is meat too. Different texture, look, and taste than we have had all week. Since coming here we have always questioned a few things but trusted the “Vegan and Vine” were all plant based. Tried calling the store but it goes straight to a voicemail during open hours.

We had an amazing time at Vegan & Vine. June 23rd was my wife birthday and wanted to surprise her. I called the restaurant and spoke to the owner who is very nice and accommodating. The waitress we had is exceptional and knew the best items on the menu. We decided on the Chicken Fried Steak burgers, which was so 😋 yummy with the ranch (Waitress Approved). I want to thank all the staff (Back of house & front of house) on a wonderful evening and creating a special moment for my wife birthday. My wife and I left with a smile and felt welcomed to have visited Vegan & Vine (Only 1 thing that was slightly uncomfortable is the metal chair- but if you scoot your bum up, you don’t feel it as much!)

I thought the food and service were just alright. I wished there was more sauce and flavor in the BBQ noodles, it felt bland to me. I was disappointed since this dish seemed like their specialty. The Pad Thai was just okay too, I’ve definitely had much better. Thai tea was refreshing and delicious. I think this restaurant is a great option for vegans and vegetarians who can’t most of the menu at other restaurants. However, I am not vegetarian so I don’t think this place is my cup of tea and I won’t be returning. I’d prefer to eat somewhere else where I’m guaranteed more flavorful noodles.

Outstanding service by Finley! We felt very much welcome. We stopped at this lovely restaurant on our way out of Phoenix. The burgers were great. I had the tofu teriyaki burger. It was very juicy and tasty. Only thing I didn’t like were the fries. They were a bit dry. Sadly didn’t try and of the desserts. But they looked great! Would definitely recommend this place to any vegans passing by in the area.

Was ok. We came here for a birthday dinner. 🎉 You know how half the people show up on time. The other half is running late. 😬 As we are waiting, we want to order our appetizer but the lady said we can’t because are to busy. There was only our large table & one other table? 🤦‍♀️ Once everyone arrives, we final order. As the orders began coming out some people had their food. By the time my mother in law got her food, everyone was done. 😩 Ok let’s talk food. The water was tap water with lemon & orange pulp. I didn’t drink any. I don’t like pulp. Looks like food in the water. 🤢 The specialty drinks were very sweet. 🥺 I ordered fried rice. Was decent. A little too greasy for my taste. So I didn’t finish it. Hubby ordered noodles. He said it was ok. And our son ordered sweet & sour something. He ate it. 😉 Overall was an ok experience. 🤷‍♀️

We’re picky people as a family so having everyone in full agreement says volumes….. Honestly amazing vegan food and the best we’ve had in the Phoenix area so far! We each got a little something different… pad thai, chow fun, sweet and sour divine and the royal noodle soup. Everyone loved their food and the portions were large so no room for deserts. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area, highly recommend!

Always love going to the loving hut restaurants. This one was extra special. They serve you rather than going to the counter and ordering. The service was fantastic. Our server was such a sweetheart. They food was delicious! Husband ordered the Pad Thai and I ordered the Mongolian “beef”. They also have Thai tea which is my favorite. Ordered the Tiramisu cake. Forgot to get a photo. UT it was delicious! They carry my favorite vegan jerkey. I love this place. Go here. You won’t regret it.

Frequently asked questions about vegan restaurants in Phoenix

What is vegan food and how does it differ from vegetarianism?

Vegan food is entirely plant-based, excluding all animal-derived products including meat, dairy, eggs, and honey. In contrast, a vegetarian diet typically excludes meat but may still include some animal byproducts like eggs or cheese. Choosing a vegan option ensures that every ingredient in your meal comes from plants or synthetic alternatives.

How much does vegan food cost?

The cost of vegan food varies significantly depending on whether you are dining out or preparing meals at home. Restaurant prices in the area generally align with standard dining costs, while home cooking can be very budget-friendly by focusing on bulk staples like grains, legumes, and seasonal produce. Some specialty meat substitutes may carry a premium price compared to whole-food plant options.

How can I find vegan options at restaurants?

You can find vegan options by looking for dedicated plant-based eateries or checking the "Vegetarian" section of standard menus. Many mainstream restaurants in the area now offer clearly labeled vegan dishes or can modify existing plates by removing animal products. It is always helpful to check recent menu updates or contact the establishment to confirm specific ingredients.
