The new addition, the Stephenson, is amazing! Beautiful place to see a play. Les Mis was so good! All the actors and their voices were great. The first couple of rows are really close to the action. Light work and sound were both great. Cannot wait to see another play here.

I saw Come From Away here and it was wonderful. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house, and the staff is welcoming and very helpful. The theater itself feels intimate enough that every seat has a great view of the stage. On a recent visit I also tried their happy hour before the show, and the food exceeded my expectations. It’s a great way to start the evening before settling in for a performance. A wonderful place to spend an evening enjoying live theater.

I can’t imagine a better show than the performance of Ever After with Alexander Mendoza as Prince Edward! All the cast was amazing… Danielle, Leonardo, Jacqeline, Gustav, the king and queen, and we must not forget the Baroness! The lighting was phenomenal and flawless, the music pristine, and the set a magnificent work of ever changing art. This is theater at its finest and I can’t recommend it enough!

The Phoenix Theatre Company puts on solid productions with talented actors and generally good staging. I enjoyed the show itself—the cast gave a strong performance and the sound quality was decent from where I was sitting. However, a few things kept this from being a great experience. The seats are fairly cramped, especially for anyone tall or with limited mobility, and legroom was tight. Concession prices are also pretty steep for what you get. The parking situation nearby can be a hassle, and you’ll likely need to allow extra time to find a spot or pay for a lot. The theater itself has charm, but the facilities feel a bit dated. Overall, a fine place to catch a local show, just manage expectations around comfort and convenience. For the ticket price, I’d say it’s average compared to other local theater options.

This review is for the new addition, the Stephenson Theatre which is a huge upgrade for the Phoenix Theatre Company campus and feels like a modern, almost‑Broadway space but still keeps the feeling of a community theatre. The theatre seating is designed so theres a good view from every location however, it seems a lot was packed into a small space (orchestra pit built under the stage!) and seating could be tight for some people. Impressive lighting and sound systems and an orchestra pit make shows like A Christmas Carol which we saw recently, feel full without losing intimacy. I usually prefer old traditional theatres, but I’m trying to appreciate the contemporary design. It works here though, as does the upstairs lobby that appears midcentury modern (which I also like) and was looking festive decorated for Christmas during our visit. There are signs that more enhancements are coming and I’m looking forward to them. Once the lobby finishes and any planned lounge spaces are complete, this could stand among the top regional venues in the Southwest. Update: This is for the Hormel Theatre where we saw ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ . Having this show in the smaller older theatre actually not that old, just maybe about 15 years, helped give the feeling of stepping back in time and making us feel intimately involved with the actors and music. Watching this show here was like actually being in Sun Records studio as famous and not yet famous musicians jammed to the music that introduced us to rock and roll.

This a fantastic experience 👏 You’ll love the interaction between your team of sleuths searching for the True Murderer. The cast is a gas!! Funny, interactive, playful. One of the best dates we’ve ever shared. .

This event was SO much fun! We had the Murder Mystery company come out for my 31st birthday and it was a blast. Nate and Jenna were absolutely incredible. They were so witty and funny – everyone LOVED having them host our Old Hollywood Murder Mystery. It was so organized, they had themed music. This is an absolute MUST!

We had the Murder Mystery Co for our volunteer banquet and the team was phenomenal! It was an amazing way to celebrate our people while having a blast! Will definitely book again for a future team event 😁

This was a fun event at a Birthday party. It got many people involved in the fun as suspects and detectives. It was very interactive.

I never leave reviews but had to on this one. My daughters and I attended last night, a surprise Mothers Day gift from the girls. It was a blast! The hosts were hilarious and everything was well organized. I was worried about sharing a table with strangers, but in the end, I’m so glad we did! Everyone really leaned in and played their parts. To top it all off…the food and drinks were amazing! They were even able to accommodate my gluten allergy, chicken alfredo, it was delicious . This was one of the best ways to spend a night out with my girls.

It was so fun from beginning to end! Actor was very professional and funny. Nate did a great job involving the whole party and recognizing acting, cleverness, and much more from the groups. Props were great, and they went above and beyond and even brighter stuff we didn’t ask for but definitely made the evening better. 100%recommend

Got Memories and Phil Thomas are great! My video content on 64 tapes was turned around inside of a week, and the original tapes were sent back to me for safe storage. Got Memories produces invaluable digital video conversions when others can’t, or don’t want to be bothered. My experience was superb, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Got Memories, or Phil Thomas for preservation of valuable memories for anyone interested in a timeless preservation!

Phil is the best! Despite my not having back-ups of some aging and damaged Hi-8 tapes (about 20 of them from the early 2000s!), Phil put my mind at ease and worked his magic to digitize my priceless family videos. The process was thorough and thoughtful, not to mention surprisingly quick, and Phil adds a personal touch by really getting to know his customers. I couldn’t recommend this business more, and I absolutely suggest working with Got Memories rather than taking a serious risk working with one of the high-volume shops that won’t even contemplate challenging, tedious transfers involving aging or damaged tapes … those require and experienced, special touch. Fantastic results and right first time with Got Memories. Even the cataloguing was thoughtful, and it was great to have separate clips rather than one massive mp4 video. Thank you, Phil. I spent a lot of time trying to digitize my family’s 8mm film collection, but wasn’t happy with the results. I contacted Phil after finding his Got Memories channel on YouTube because I could see a drastic difference between his results and mine. Phil was responsive to my questions, and patient when I took a while to answer. My wife and I were able to track our films as they shipped and Phil let me know when he had them. Great experience. I had 7 tapes I was unable to copy myself. I spoke to Phil and he immediately put mind at ease. I sent the tapes and he was able to copy them same day and had them ready to be shipped back immediately. Great service, great communication, worth every penny. The southeast end of Grand Avenue has multiple hidden gems that are worth visiting (see Novel Ice Cream, Pueblo, and Caffio), but our favorite place for a meal and a drink is GABC. Set in a warehouse building just off of Grand on Pierce, the brewery has a very AZ feel with plenty of seating. Cooling is provided by evap, which reminds me of my childhood in Tucson. They, of course, have multiple brews on tap, to choose from, as well as mixed drinks and wine. they also have a great menu of food selections. I had their Beeline Honey Wheat beer, and my wife selected their Three Thieves Chardonnay. For lunch, we selected the Pulled Pork Sandwich with chips and the Green Chili Bowl. Both were generous helpings and were delicious. We topped off our visit with their Belgian Waffle with Vanilla ice cream. The waffle was thin and groaning under the weight of a large scoop of delicious ice cream and pecans. The cost was surprisingly reasonable for all that we got. Next time you are looking for a relaxed meal and drinks, check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

We stopped by on our way to the Phoenix airport and were so happy we did! Everything was fantastic — great beer, fresh food, and such a nice experience. My husband had the West Coast Throwback IPA, my son tried the Guava Tonic beer, and I had the B-Line Honey Wheat, which was light, refreshing, and very easy drinking. The food was an unexpected highlight! I had the udon noodle bowl, and it was incredibly flavorful with such fresh, high-quality ingredients. The ahi tuna was especially delicious. My husband and son both had the bánh mì sandwich and loved it — seriously, wow! We were really impressed by the quality of both the beer and the food. Such a great find and a perfect stop before heading to the airport. Highly recommend!

Awesome atmosphere, great food, great beer. Get a smoked potato, just do it. Good mix of German and Belgian beers with some funky stuff too. Flavors are clean and refreshing. Friendly staff, clean, and inviting. Lots of room to park.

So many craft beer to chose from. My favorite is Guava Tonic. And the food! Unique spin on tacos. Gourmet cuisine. Almost forgot to mention the great atmosphere both inside and outside.

Grand Avenue Brewing is my first choice when I feel like going out. My personal ritual is to start with a flight of 4 oz pours, which lets me sample several beers and enjoy the experience of discovering my favorite for that visit before settling in with a full glass. Happy Jack, their cream ale, is a always in my flight — it’s smooth, and exactly the kind of beer that keeps you coming back. The rest of the tap list never disappoints either. Rotating seasonals that keep every visit feeling fresh. What I find remarkable is that I never experience the after effects I get from commercial store bought beer. The food program is genuinely special — house smoked BBQ, loaded baked potatoes, soft pretzels, noodle bowls, loaded mac and cheese, and green chili, with vegetarian options too. The setting — a vintage historic warehouse in the heart of Phoenix’s lower Grand Avenue arts district — gives it a soul that’s hard to find anywhere else. If you can make it on a First Friday, the live music takes the whole experience up another notch. Add in a dog-friendly patio and retail beer to go, and there’s truly nothing missing. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate, and the owner is always on premises and never too busy to share a great conversation. It’s no wonder Grand Avenue Brewing has been voted one of the Top 10 Breweries in Metro Phoenix. Five stars without question

AZ Party Rockers made our wedding unforgettable! From the moment the music started, they had our entire family on the dance floor all night. We been here almost 2 months and I just want to say it’s been the experience we have ever had. The amenities are fantastic and with a view of the city that you just can’t beat. A very pet friendly place with a welcoming community. The management team is so amazing at what they do, always helping us with any need that we have. And the maintenance team are top tier, always getting the job done quickly and efficiently. Overall best apartment we have ever lived in. Would recommend this place to anyone to live here a 1000%

Circa Central is hands down the best apartment I have ever lived at. My 2.5 years felt seamless and easy. I loved my unit and the management team was friendly and always so helpful, especially since it was my first time living in Phoenix. Maintenance requests were handled fast too. I have been meaning to write this review for a while and I’m glad I am finally doing it. What I loved most about Circa is how quiet it it is and how clean the shared spaces are. It was nice to invite friends and family here and a plus is one of my fav eating establishments Blue Fin is right next door! Miss this place already. Also the location was perfect. Quiet enough. Right next to the library and Margaret Hance Park but also within walking distance to nightlife.

I’ve been living here for the past two months, and it’s been a significant change from my apartment life in the 1980s. Let me start by saying that the location is fantastic! The apartments are well-maintained, and the maintenance staff seems to be on top of things. But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service. I had the pleasure of working with leasing agents Summer Diaz and Jenny Avendano, who went above and beyond to make my experience truly great. I was considering a few other apartment complexes in the area, but I’m incredibly grateful that I chose this one!

I absolutely loved my time living here. The staff is so attentive, respectful, and helpful. The property is also well maintained and much more affordable than you’d expect for this area. I’m hoping, once my circumstances improve, to return to living at this property😊

I have been going to SDL for 15+ years, but on my recent visit, decided to try PHX since it was closer to my downtown hotel, and I am so glad that I did. The experience at Cutter was amazing — everyone was on their “A-Game” and helpful/professional. They should serve as an example for how all FBO’s should operate! Fuel was incredibly reasonable and there were no junk fees (I also do not think that there is any landing fee at PHX). ATC was also awesome and the proximity of the south runway was super convenient and efficient. Nothing but compliments for Cutter and I will definitely return here on future visits to Phoenix! I was able to get a ride to the main terminal from one of the friendly CSRs and after realizing that I had left my phone in the crew room at the FBO, she retrieved it and brought it back to me! Great service!

As a 135 pilot that flies all around the southwest This is my favorite FBO staff is always accommodating Fuel is cheap(on contract) Great amenities for pilots such as Large TV room crew car pilot rest rooms and much more Always fun to visit

So, a black pilot is at the desk waiting for his receipt after his airplane has been fueled, and a white pilot walks up asking for the same thing. Who gets their receipt first? The white pilot! The CSR just walks away from the black pilot, and he has to ask again for his receipt after the white pilot is gone!

Arrived in a piston single as an overnight during a west-east ferry and received truly world class service. Line crew was personable and efficient, front desk helpful, FBO spacious and comfortable and the team even provided a shuttle to my hotel downtown. 100LL fully priced but no more so than at another major Bravo and by no means egregious. Even topping off at almost $7/gal I felt like I got a great deal; that alone should say everything needed anything about the service. Cannot say enough good things about Cutter. Thank you!

Hands down my favorite record store in the valley. They have unique records from every genre, but I’ve stocked up on a lot of cool world beat and jazz records there. The staff there is really good about introducing you to new music and making recommendations. They haven’t missed yet; every record they’ve recommended has been fire.

I’ve been taking DJ lessons from Cocoe since October of 2025 and I have learned so much from him he’s a great teacher & mentor! Killian his co-operator also was able to source me some really clean Technics turntables for a really good price & he was willing to work with me on the price. This is hands down one of thee best record stores in Arizona! They also are currently hosting Open Decks sessions every Sunday from 12-5pm for local DJ’s in the scene. I am very grateful for this store & their staff for helping me on my DJ and musical journey thank you guys!

I came in for my first time on August 9th, 2025 after work & my plan was really just to browse & not buy anything because I spend way to much money as is on Vinyl. After checking out the store I ended up leaving with a few records of course, but that’s not the point. The point is, CoCoe & his cute dog were the highlight of it all. This store gave me HUGE Cali vibes specifically San Diego, Barrio Logan Beatbox Records vibes. And I love it! I’m huge into collection northern soul, Chicano soul, oldies, etc. They had so many genres & the equipment & the store was very well layed out & organized. CoCoe is a breathe of fresh air in the Arizona records scene. His customer service was the reason I left with records & made a connection to the point to where I’ll be a regular from now on. I will recommend this place to all my friends & clients & I wish them nothing but success as this location is truly in a great spot as well!

Very nice owner. I stopped by the store during my business trip, and got the store’s address through Google Maps search. I was looking for indie country music cassette tapes and was a bit disappointed in hearing that they’ve just offloaded 1000+ tapes to some collector and hence for now are primarily focusing on vinyl records. But the owner still brought out his “private collection” of dozens of cassettes, patiently went through them, and made some great recommendations. We had a great chat and I even got a chance to show off my portable tape player through the owners sound system. At the end, I got five cassettes at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. I sincerely hope the business sustains, and look forward to the next visit to the store when I stop by Phoenix.

Saw someone had a boombox repaired there. I wanted to have an Sears SR2100 SERIES (Sanyo) 1982 boombox that I had been looking for for years, restored. 40 years in the business and he had no idea how to fix a tape deck & replace an antenna. I would have paid a few hundred bucks to fix it. Noncustomer because he advertised work he can’t do.

Tim was great! I lucked out and had a very fast turnaround getting my 1978-1979 Fisher stereo up and running. It turned out absolutely amazing. The sound quality is fantastic, and the cleanup job was superb. I am happy to have found such a great shop; they are knowledgeable, honest, and provide top-tier quality. Thank you again!

Took my NAD T778 to get services done when it would not turn on anymore. The people here are great! I dropped it off and the next day they found the issue and about a week later it was fixed. High end equipment or not don’t feel worried about bringing your electronics here they will take care of you and for price I would say it’s fair and you won’t get ripped off and I thought it was nice that they give you a bag of replaced parts so you can see what was wrong with your equipment and their 90 warranty is a nice little touch. This will be the place I take my stuff to get repaired because I can trust them. It’s been a week and my NAD T778 is performing like new again. I would 100% recommend!!
