You guys, I genuinely think people are getting tired of me talking about how amazing our wedding DJ was — but he was that good. We had William, and I knew he was our DJ the moment I saw him because he just looked fun and cool. Having a great DJ was extremely important to me because I really wanted our wedding to be fun, and William absolutely overdelivered. DJs have the ability to make or break a wedding and I can’t express how overwhelmingly happy I am we went with engage entertainment which was highly recommended to us. I sent him a few artists and our general vibe literally the day before the wedding, and I was blown away by how perfectly he ran with it. I have really diverse music taste, and somehow every song felt right. He kept the energy high the entire night and did an amazing job reading the room and flowing with the crowd. I remember during dinner just vibing and looking to my husband and saying “he is KILLING it” with the dinner music. He just knew somehow! I’ve been to a lot of weddings, and what he did is truly a skill and a talent. If you’re looking for a DJ who can read the room and get an entire party of people ages 1 to 98 dancing and having a great time, William is your guy.

The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring DJ Munition! We still get compliments on how fun our wedding and dance floor was and this is all thanks to Tyler. I had HIGH expectations for him because I knew Tyler was amazing and even then he blew me away. The professionalism he held throughout the wedding was unmatched. I remember sitting at our head table and saw Tyler engaging with our guests and he truly helped create such a welcoming positive atmosphere, it made me so happy he was there. He was the best host, dressed very nice and of course KILLED THE RECEPTION! He does not just play songs back to back, he is actively mixing and creating magic (a REAL DJ). There was never a dull moment. He made the best recommendations and also made sure to play songs we requested. Another moment I remember… my husband and I looking up at the ceiling at our reception and seeing all the lights he brought come to life it looked sooo good. Jarrett was an AMAZING MC and DJ for our late night after party at our reception. He was super communicative and easy to work with leading up to the party. We knew we were in great hands! Jarrett did an awesome job hyping everyone up for our entrance which was such a highlight — people were standing on chairs and waving napkins — incredible! It really set the tone for the rest of the evening. He teed up the speeches and kept the evening flowing smoothly. Then at late, Jarrett kept the energy and vibes high for a DJ set, which even featured a brief rain spell, his team quickly covered all the equipment and the party didn’t miss a beat. It was epic in every single way!! Thank you, Jarrett !!!

While I was caught up in a million other wedding details, I let my husband take the lead on finding our DJ, and I am so glad I did. He reminded me that the DJ sets the tone for the entire night. They guide the flow of the evening and interact with your guests the entire time. It was so important to us to find someone who matched our vibe, was professional, and of course incredibly talented. Luckily, we found Tyler, because he was exactly that! We love country music and really wanted some of our favorite songs incorporated throughout the day, and Tyler was completely on board. He truly wanted to collaborate with us and create the best experience possible for both us and our guests. From the recessional to cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and MCing, Tyler absolutely crushed it! He kept everything flowing seamlessly and brought the perfect energy to every part of the night. I am the President Mirage Elementary PTA and have used AZ Jolly Jumpers for our last 3 school events. I have used multiple companies for our inflatable rental needs over the last 4 years. Some okay, some horrible. AZ Jolly Jumpers is the Best by far!! They have been amazing. Always willing to work with the customer and their needs. Since we are at a school it makes it difficult with delivery, pickup, electrical (generators) and water needs for the rentals. They have always accommodated our same day setup and pickup with everything we have ever needed to make our event a success. They are very fairly priced compared to their competition, actually less expensive and with better service. You also get the option to text with them about any questions you may have. Before, during and after the event. I would recommend AZ Jolly Jumpers to anyone.

Look no further! Best Water slide fun ! We had the Titanic 21ft water slide . We had the best time ! We also rented tent with table & chairs for our July 4th Celebration. Set up & pick up was handled professionally, promptly & the drivers were all very nice. Thank You Azjollyjumpers for a memorable time !!

We have used this company a few times now and each time has been a super easy experience. They set up quickly and are in and out to pick it up as well. We just had the hippie slide for our daughter’s 9th birthday and it was a blast. The kids loved it! We will be using them again.

I was grateful to be able to book online quickly, just days before the Saturday party I planned last minute. The 3 gentlemen who delivered and picked up the bounce house worked swiftly and were very nice. The kids had a blast with the water slide part, especially with it already being 95 degrees in March. The new addition, the Stephenson, is amazing! Beautiful place to see a play. Les Mis was so good! All the actors and their voices were great. The first couple of rows are really close to the action. Light work and sound were both great. Cannot wait to see another play here.

I saw Come From Away here and it was wonderful. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house, and the staff is welcoming and very helpful. The theater itself feels intimate enough that every seat has a great view of the stage. On a recent visit I also tried their happy hour before the show, and the food exceeded my expectations. It’s a great way to start the evening before settling in for a performance. A wonderful place to spend an evening enjoying live theater.

I can’t imagine a better show than the performance of Ever After with Alexander Mendoza as Prince Edward! All the cast was amazing… Danielle, Leonardo, Jacqeline, Gustav, the king and queen, and we must not forget the Baroness! The lighting was phenomenal and flawless, the music pristine, and the set a magnificent work of ever changing art. This is theater at its finest and I can’t recommend it enough!

The Phoenix Theatre Company puts on solid productions with talented actors and generally good staging. I enjoyed the show itself—the cast gave a strong performance and the sound quality was decent from where I was sitting. However, a few things kept this from being a great experience. The seats are fairly cramped, especially for anyone tall or with limited mobility, and legroom was tight. Concession prices are also pretty steep for what you get. The parking situation nearby can be a hassle, and you’ll likely need to allow extra time to find a spot or pay for a lot. The theater itself has charm, but the facilities feel a bit dated. Overall, a fine place to catch a local show, just manage expectations around comfort and convenience. For the ticket price, I’d say it’s average compared to other local theater options.

This review is for the new addition, the Stephenson Theatre which is a huge upgrade for the Phoenix Theatre Company campus and feels like a modern, almost‑Broadway space but still keeps the feeling of a community theatre. The theatre seating is designed so theres a good view from every location however, it seems a lot was packed into a small space (orchestra pit built under the stage!) and seating could be tight for some people. Impressive lighting and sound systems and an orchestra pit make shows like A Christmas Carol which we saw recently, feel full without losing intimacy. I usually prefer old traditional theatres, but I’m trying to appreciate the contemporary design. It works here though, as does the upstairs lobby that appears midcentury modern (which I also like) and was looking festive decorated for Christmas during our visit. There are signs that more enhancements are coming and I’m looking forward to them. Once the lobby finishes and any planned lounge spaces are complete, this could stand among the top regional venues in the Southwest. Update: This is for the Hormel Theatre where we saw ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ . Having this show in the smaller older theatre actually not that old, just maybe about 15 years, helped give the feeling of stepping back in time and making us feel intimately involved with the actors and music. Watching this show here was like actually being in Sun Records studio as famous and not yet famous musicians jammed to the music that introduced us to rock and roll.

The best DJ you could ever ask for, hands down! Elliot DJ’d our wedding in October at The Cabins on Strawberry Hill and absolutely crushed it! Upon booking our wedding at the Cabins, we were informed that they had a standing partnership with Impact DJ’s and that out of the numerous DJ’s they’d had come through over the years, he had become their favorite and go to. Let me tell you, it’s now so easy to understand why! Elliot curated a masterful mix and did so much more. He first got in contact with us many months before the wedding to introduce himself and figure out our vibe. Not only did he take time to figure out exactly what we’d like our special day & night to sound like, he helped us plan out the timeline completely and figure out what would make the most sense all the way from the ceremony to the end of the night. While we’ve been saying we did our wedding without a planner, I cannot express enough how much Elliot truly came in clutch. He was kind, hilarious, played absolute bangers all night, and kept us remembering that the day really was about us. Do yourself a favor and book Elliot! We absolutely will be for all future events.

Elliot was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He asked questions that helped us think through the wedding day and it really made a difference. He was extremely kind and receptive to our thoughts and made sure that he understood what songs we wanted to hear on the day. We are big music people so this meant a lot to us. A lot of our friends commented on how it seemed like the songs being played throughout the wedding really emphasized each stage from the ceremony to the party at the end. Highly recommend for any event! You’re the man, Elliot!

Elliott is truly the man! Me and my wife just had him DJ our wedding and the day would not have gone the way it did without him. I never realized the extent to which the DJ runs the show, but Elliott went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect. He was there to make sure that my wife and I had the most amazing night with great music and bringing the energy needed when the dance floor got quiet. A moment I will never forget is my little brother wanting to sing a random YouTube video song during the wedding for my wife and I. Of course with our approval, Elliott downloaded the video on the spot and did a fun introduction and made the moment feel as though it was planned from the beginning. There were so many moments to speak on but ultimately we’re trying to figure out how we can have another event just to have him be a part of it. Thank you Elliot for the best night of our lives!!

Elliot at Impact DJ’s was incredible. We had him work our wedding and he went above and beyond what I thought a DJ should do for a couple. He helped coordinate with vendors and the venue, helped with timing literally everything, and assisted in pivoting several times when our photographer had limitations or dropped the ball. He was a perfect combination of professional, caring, and fun, always reading the room and dance floor; tweaking the music choice to get people going again. As far as tech goes, there were zero issues with mics/speakers and we always had one in our hand when we should with no feedback or problems.

Elliot was fantastic for our wedding at the Cabins on Strawberry Hill! After the ceremony he promptly brought my husband and I drinks and appetizers from cocktail hour while we were taking family photos. He went out of his way to keep the train on the tracks and even took videos and photos of the crowd which he later sent over to me. He kept the vibes high and everyone on the dance floor!

Elliot DJed for our wedding reception party, and we couldn’t be happier! Although it was brief, he was able to incorporate all our requests and was able to get every single guest dancing! He was also very flexible with any last minute changes, and helped us set up the structure for the entire evening. Thank you Elliot!!

Elliot DJed our wedding at Cabins on Strawberry Hill in May, and we could not have been happier with his services. He was professional, upbeat, and steered the wedding energy perfectly. We came here today with my 90 year old grandfather and we couldn’t have been happier. The service was fantastic, and all employees were exceptionally kind/helpful. The food was wonderful! Truly tasted homemade. We got three different sandwiches, a tortilla soup, the pasta salad and a dream bar. Everything had its own unique flavor and was so fresh. Can’t wait to come back!

Great to have a spot in the wasteland between Arcadia and Biltmore. Seems to me more a sandwich spot than a breakfast place. Coffee ok. Burrito was great, roasted tomatoes nice touch. Was sauce optional, extra? These are Disco questions. Busy little complex. Seemed to be many regulars.

We took our 90 year old relatives and they wanted The Club sandwiches cut in quarters. Accommodations made! They didn’t get the ordering on an “app”. The waitress brought us paper menus. Check! The “youngsters” wanted refills on coffee. The staff kindly obliged. The food came out and everyone was happy! The old folks loved the cookie!

We’ve been big Bertha’s fans for years. The food is always delicious and Douglas is always so fun and friendly. I always get the pick two with the turkey sandwich and the curry chicken salad sandwich and a side of the pasta. We’ve tried to duplicate the pesto pasta but it’s never as good as they make it. Make sure you don’t skip the sweets… especially the Dream Bar. Yum!!!

Sandwiches are so tasty! The service was so good and the nicest people ever! They gave us 10 cookies for free at they end. Amazing people and best sandwiches

My hubby & I celebrated Father’s Day and our 18th wedding anniversary by going on a Lake Pleasant dinner cruise. I don’t belive I’ve ever had such delicious catered food executed so successfully! We had salad, juicy prime rib, fresh shrimp skewers, flavorful potatoes, and yummy garlic rolls. The flavors were decadent. The portions were perfect. The service was genuine and intentional. The food was that of a fine dining experience. I highly recommend the cruise just for the food alone. The next time I need a caterer, Butcher Block will be my 1st call!

I had the pleasure of enjoying both brunch and bbq catered by Butcher Block on the Lake Pleasant Cruise, and I must say both meals were fantastic. The crew was incredibly kind. They made more than enough food both times and were very generous with portions. If you’re ever able to get food catered by them, please do!

We enjoyed a dinner cruise on April 12, for a friend’s big 65th birthday. The brisket, hot links, and barbecue pork were absolutely delicious! Side dishes, accompanied the meal perfectly. We met the chef, such a wonderful personable gentleman. For this Texas girl, it was like a taste of Home. -~Keren

A beautiful three course meal for almost 150 people on a BOAT! THE PRIME RIB and shrimp was delicious. Then the dessert hit the spot!

We came all the way from Iowa and wanted to experience the desert lake. The sunset dinner cruise on Lake Pleasant was a great night. The barbecue was outstanding. Every bite had flavor and felt like it was made with care. It stood out right away. The service was amazing and the staff was attentive, present, and very accommodating. Add in the sunset over the water and it all came together into a night that felt special.

Over the Christmas Holiday, I had the Amazing experience of partaking in a banquet from Butcher Block Catering with Mike the Chef and it was absolutely AMAZING! What made this extravaganza so amazing is the food was well prepared!! It had eye appeal the caterers had an actual display that was decorative, fruit bowl that was shape in arrangements, and orange chicken bake with beautiful decorative orange slices. The lasagna was just layered perfectly with meat and cheese and everything was well seasoned. They offer special gourmet tea and beverages with apple cinnamon spice aromas opening up your sensories! Mike and his team did an amazing job!! I would refer this place to anyone! Thanks for a beautiful and elegant meal and a lovely partake of arrangements! -Tamika Olivia

I’ve been a photographer for 7 years now. And so far, it’s the best studio in the US that I’ve shot in. The studio has excellent equipment, great guys who are ready to explain and show everything, they are very responsive and ready to change something if it doesn’t go according to plan. For example, I had a client who was late and the guys in their kindness were willing to let me reschedule the photo session without a fee. You can see that they have put their heart and soul into the studio. I will also note that the cyclorama was VERY clean all my shoots on different days. Thank you! From now on, when I fly to Arizona, this is the only place I’ll be shooting.

I have been using Phoenix Photo Lab this past year and now trust them exclusively to develop and scan my 35mm film. Both color and black and white. They use traditional dark room processes to develop and then scan with a Fuji SA3000 scanner (at the time of this review) which gives excellent quality and color tones. The Standard film scanning resolution is more than adequate for social media use and prints up to 8×10, and they also offer high resolution scans with the same equipment. They hold on to my negatives for long periods of time which is convenient, and they’re always cut and organized well at pickup. The staff is fantastic. They can also do scanning alone as a service in the event that you develop your own film, or have old film you need to digitize. This is a professional lab for those that care about quality and accuracy. This is not like other film shops that more emulate 1 Hour Photo booths.

Our band recently filmed a video here and had an outstanding experience. The team was professional, organized and super easy to work with. The space was amazing and equipped with everything needed for a high-quality production. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming here exclusively for almost five years now. I’ve gotten to know plenty of staff members (Chloe, Katie, Steven) and the owners Nick and Cusi. I recently had an issue with a scanning order, and after I called to have it redone, the order came back perfect. I was met with a sincere apology and appreciation for giving them the opportunity to fix it. They are an hour drive from where I live, but they have always made the drive worth it. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

Great helpful staff with family vibes and a cool Modern space for a lot of photo needs. Scans and digital services as well As film lab options plus items for sale, art on the walls and a cool low cost print machine that I am excited to try out asap next visit! Recommend for any traveling film photogs or locals in AZ looking for a developer, printmaker etc. and personally I’m looking forward to experiencing more of their services…

AZ Party Rockers made our wedding unforgettable! From the moment the music started, they had our entire family on the dance floor all night. We’ve had the pleasure of working with AZ Party Rockers for our UA Local 469 Apprentice Turnout Party two years in a row, and they absolutely nailed it both times. Our crowd includes apprentices and staff with very different tastes in music—spanning genres and decades—and the AZ Party Rockers crew did a fantastic job finding the right mix to keep the energy up all night. While it wasn’t a dance-floor type of event, the music had everyone bobbing their heads, singing along, and enjoying the celebration with good friends and family. Incredible! We had the best experience with Fat Freddy’s Catering. Dan was outstanding — professional, efficient and the setup for our surprise party was top-notch. The cleanup was equally impressive — by the end of the night, our home was back to its original state. The food was absolutely superb — every guest raved about it (and many said they’ll be using them in the future too!). This was our first time booking them and I couldn’t be happier. I recently had Fat Freddy’s cater an event for my grandchildren’s baptism party. I ordered the brisket, cowboy beans, pasta salad, cornbread, and a variety of mini desserts. The delivery was within the time frame specified. The food was set up in the order I requested and it was done very professionally. The pasta salad and the dessert tray were perfectly cold (as should be), and the brisket, barbecue sauce, and cowboy beans were well packed and heated. The platter of cornbread was very nicely decorated, as well as, the presentation of the mini desserts. The platter was absolutely beautiful! Our guests were very impressed with the presentation and were complimenting of how tasty and delicious everything turned out to be! Needless to say, I will definitely be ordering from Fat Freddy’s again! I have already recommended Fat Freddy’s to my family and friends for their events! Whether they deliver and set everything up or you pick up the food and handle the setup yourself, they make the entire experience easy. Their presentation is beautiful, and when you pick up, everything is packaged incredibly well so it travels perfectly. We recently ordered the Ultimate Breakfast, and my clients declared it the best catered breakfast they had ever experienced! Yesterday, we tried the Baked Potato Bar with brisket chili, vegan chili, salad, rolls, and dessert—and it was another huge hit. The food was beautiful, delicious, unique, and perfect for a business lunch. My clients are catered to frequently, so finding something that feels different and special can be a challenge. The potato bar absolutely delivered—satisfying without being too heavy for the middle of the workday. But the biggest shout-out goes to the Fat Freddy’s team for going above and beyond to take care of us and our clients. That kind of service matters. Fat Freddy’s was an absolute dream to work with! I did not have a wedding planner, so I had to coordinate all the things on my own. Kandyce was very responsive with her emails and set up our tasting promptly. We knew the moment we tasted the risotto we wanted their food to be at our wedding! Everything was to die for! My team that night, Rachel and Anthony, were outstanding! They were timely, efficient and friendly:) Their attention to detail in setting up, making the space beautiful, tending to the food, clearing plates, dealing with random requests from certain family members, and overall kind and positive demeanor made my wedding flawless. NUMEROUS guests told me it was the best wedding food they ever had! I wish I would’ve taken more pictures, but I thought the salad was beautifully presented for a buffet. I also appreciated Rachel ensuring I got leftovers boxed and labeled. She even made sure my cake was beautified and preserved so I could take it home as well. I couldn’t recommend Fat Freddy’s more and they were the favorite of all my vendors! Thank you for making my wedding so special and memorable ♥️

This event was SO much fun! We had the Murder Mystery company come out for my 31st birthday and it was a blast. Nate and Jenna were absolutely incredible. They were so witty and funny – everyone LOVED having them host our Old Hollywood Murder Mystery. It was so organized, they had themed music. This is an absolute MUST!

We had the Murder Mystery Co for our volunteer banquet and the team was phenomenal! It was an amazing way to celebrate our people while having a blast! Will definitely book again for a future team event 😁

This was a fun event at a Birthday party. It got many people involved in the fun as suspects and detectives. It was very interactive.

I never leave reviews but had to on this one. My daughters and I attended last night, a surprise Mothers Day gift from the girls. It was a blast! The hosts were hilarious and everything was well organized. I was worried about sharing a table with strangers, but in the end, I’m so glad we did! Everyone really leaned in and played their parts. To top it all off…the food and drinks were amazing! They were even able to accommodate my gluten allergy, chicken alfredo, it was delicious . This was one of the best ways to spend a night out with my girls.

It was so fun from beginning to end! Actor was very professional and funny. Nate did a great job involving the whole party and recognizing acting, cleverness, and much more from the groups. Props were great, and they went above and beyond and even brighter stuff we didn’t ask for but definitely made the evening better. 100%recommend
