After experiencing a miscarriage a few years prior, my wife and I were nervous starting the IVF process again. Dr. Gordon and the staff at Bloom made this experience amazing. Dr. Gordon went above and beyond to figure out what issues needed to be addressed so that we did not have another miscarriage. She made sure everything was looked at, got issues diagnosed and addressed and now we are gratefully pregnant and expecting this fall. I would recommend Bloom to anyone on a fertility journey. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Pinnacle Fertility. The nurse navigator system is truly incredible- Kirsty was absolutely the best. She made what can be a really overwhelming process feel easy, smooth, and genuinely comfortable every step of the way. Every doctor we worked with- Allison Abbey, Dr. Zoneraich, and Dr. Larson- was caring, informative, and took the time to make sure we always felt supported and in the loop. The entire office staff was just as amazing. Appointments were always timely, communication and scheduling was simple and easy. You can tell this team really cares about their patients. Nothing negative to say about our experience. From the beginning, everything was explained thoroughly and all of our options were presented. The navigator system is honestly one of the best things about the experience. Kirsty was truly amazing. She was always so kind, supportive, and helpful. She was always following up after appointments and was so helpful with everything from planning out procedures and just general questions. I will genuinely miss that system the most as we move on to OBGYN. During our time with the clinic we worked with all the doctors at some point, who are all amazing, and the PA Allison is also awesome- she was so helpful with any questions and empathetic as well. We graduated to OBGYN today and will truly miss this team as we transition. Looking forward to working with them in the future for any future kids we choose to have.

I did my first IVF cycle two years ago. Had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. And then came back to the ivf clinic for second embryo transfer and it was a success! I had a baby boy. The clinic was very transparent about the cost, insurance coverage snd the process. I like their calendar system- it helps me plan my cycle with work. I really liked staffs including the navigators that I never met in person. They were very much available for any questions along the way. I feel like this clinic really had it right. I went thru various providers (doctors and PAs) depending on my schedule. The program was clearly organized, highly skilled, communicative about the results, and coordinators really supported me emotionally.

I had such an incredible experience at Pinnacle Fertility. Going through IVF is quite the journey and it’s a journey that never seems to be linear. You go through a lot mentally and physically which makes it very crucial to have a great support system around you. Everyone that I came in contact with at Pinnacle was very kind, genuine, and empathetic. I had access to my coordinator, Yanley for any comments, questions or concerns. She always answered in a timely manner and was always very thorough and you could tell she genuinely cared for me and my situation. When things didn’t go my way she was there for me and when things went well she was right there to celebrate with me! I felt the same way about the PA Alison. She has incredible bedside manner and never made me feel rushed and always took the time to answer my questions. You could tell she was genuinely happy for us and celebrated us. I also loved the lab tech. She always made me laugh and would share positive stories with me to keep me going and I really enjoyed speaking with her and she was always a breath of fresh air to be around. Lastly, Dr. Z was our physician and he made it possible for us to conceive! He would always call with important updates and answer all of our questions. Thank you Pinnacle we appreciate you!! 🩷

I cannot say enough about Dr. Zoneraich and his AMAZING Staff! I have NEVER encountered such an efficient healthcare practice in my entire life. Every department and every aspect of this organization runs like a well-oiled machine and the staff and doctors are incredible. You truly feel one-of-a-kind (even though you know you’re not). I didn’t feel “like another number”. Coming from another Fertility Clinic with a horrific experience- I was blown away with how caring everyone was and how they kept their word every step of the way. I want to shout-out my Healthcare Navigator, MiKayla. There are no words to describe how incredible she is. If you ever visit their office and get fertility care from them- request her! She’s is down right amazing and although I am glad to have graduated to our OB for a second time, I am super sad to leave this group of truly incredible humans. I am tearing up just writing this, but I can’t even begin to describe the impact this clinic has had on my life and in the best way possible. From the initial appointments, to the testing, to the treatment plans and the treatments I was never treated like a number but I was treated like a human being. My best interest was always in the front of their minds, my navigator Kirsty was INCREDIBLE. She handled all my questions, anxious texts and she always made sure to check in on me. The kindness that this clinic has shown me is beyond words. You start to see the same people over and over again and it becomes a little family which I was crying leaving my last appointment knowing I was moving on. Prior to coming to this clinic I was at another clinic that I wasn’t too happy. Fast forward to a year ago, my husband found this clinic with outstanding reviews and amazing doctors! I worked with Dr. Larsen and let me tell you, he is the most knowledgeable, caring, understanding and a huge supporter while you go through your journey. He also has an amazing team that works alongside him that make sure you are taken care of and answer any questions you may have. I spent majority of my time at the Chandler location and everyone there is friendly and caring. Anyone who is going through IVF, I strongly recommend this clinic!

There are so many amazing people that work at Pinnacle Fertility that make a crappy experience feel a little more manageable. My coordinator Savannah was very patient and kind. The nurses are all wonderful and knowledgeable. Everyone I ever interacted with at the front desk in Chandler, Scottsdale, Glendale and Tucson (I went to them all!) were great. Margaret is the best phlebotomist EVER. She doesn’t miss. And when you are having to get your blood drawn all the time- it’s nice to not have to be nervous about it. Thanks <3

I can’t express enough how much I loved my experience with this clinic. Everyone was so attentive and kind throughout our entire process, it was a much needed change of pace from all of the years of infertility we had gone through up until this point. Our concerns were taken seriously and they truly went above and beyond to make sure we got answers for what was causing our troubles. Our navigator, Karina, was always so responsive and helpful. Hannah Porath RN and the team helping her were the brightest spot of our experience, we looked forward to seeing them each and every visit. Our experience with Pinnacle was as smooth as we could have hoped for. This was the third clinic my husband and I interacted with due to a move and then an issue with insurance coverage. We had a consultation at the first one, made it through diagnostic testing with the second one, and made it to treatment with Pinnacle. We worked with Dr. Kurt Peterson and I would recommend him without hesitation. He was knowledgeable and easy to speak to and get along with. I felt confident with him as our RE. Two other very important people I interacted with were Hannah at the Chandler office and my patient navigator, Sandra. I cannot say enough good things about either of them. Hannah was the clinician I saw for most of my appointments and Sandra was my point of contact/liaison. Both of them made the process far less stressful than it could have been. I never felt uncomfortable asking questions and always felt heard. Being able to reach out easily to a navigator in-between appointments was a game changer and something that wasn’t available at the other clinics I had spoken to. We’re now expecting our first child and have this team to thank. If you’re researching where to go for fertility treatment, I strongly recommend considering Pinnacle.

You will get a fertility navigator who answers all your questions. I texted mine allllllll the time and she always was understanding and never made me feel like a bother. Hannah the NP did majority of my ultrasounds and IUIs and she was such a joy and you could tell she really cared. My main doctor was Dr. Peterson but I had great experiences with all 3 doctors. Southwest Fertility made all our dreams come true! We started our fertility journey in November of 2024 after trying for 3 years. My husband and I came into our treatments agreeing on 3 rounds of IUI originally. Financially we were prepared for that. After we had our first 2 treatments failing, Dr Gunnala had a sit down with us and went over his suggestions and opinions on our treatments. He was amazing and didn’t want us to give up after 3 knowing we wanted a baby so bad. So we were able to commit to a total of 5 rounds. By the grace of God and a-little bit of science, we got pregnant with our miracle baby in August 2025 on our 4th round of IUI. We now have a healthy 6 week bouncing boy! To think we would have never gone for a 4th round if it wasn’t for the dedication and commitment of this team. We can’t thank the team at SWF enough for the support, the care, the laughs, the tears, but most of all our baby! Once you’ve worked with this team, you’re family for life! We love visiting the team, because they deserve to watch this little miracle baby boy grow just as much as us.

My husband and I started this journey about 6 years ago. We started at another fertility clinic. The experiences we terrible. We felt like just another number. We never saw the same doctor and after months of meds and $20,000 later never even made it to the trigger shot. After that experience we decide to go the route of adoption and after over 3 years of heartbreak were about to give up hope of starting a family. We decided to try IVF one more time. From the minute we stepped into Dr. Gunnala’s office we could feel the difference. I remember sitting down with him at our consultation and spending an hour and a half just talking about us, our history, and going over the past 5 year journey. He listened so intently and in the end even discovered I was misdiagnosed with an infertility condition. From there it was a great experience. The staff are like a family and everytime I go into the office I felt at home and so comfortable. They listened to my concerns and helped me through the traumas from my first IVF experience. I was shocked when we got the news that on the first try we were PREGNANT!!! I had been told almost my whole life that I would not have kids of my own and now I am in my 7th month of pregnancy with my baby girl and preparing for birth in October. I have gotten pregnant THREE times and had successful pregnancies with SW Fertility Center. I could not have done it without them and are FOREVER grateful for their help! My two sons and my daughter are perfect and I can never thank the team enough. We were blessed with our son in 2019 after 6 years of trying (I struggle with PCOS). Unfortunately we had a difficult time conceiving again after our son so we went back to SW Fertility and had my daughter. We were unsure if we wanted another one but decided to have one more. We just had my other son 2 weeks ago. If you are struggling with fertility issues and are reading this, please call and schedule an appointment! Dr Gunnala and Dr Vinay are the best doctors and not only that but their whole team (who was the same years later) is the best! Everyone from Fran at the front office to Yvonne in the back to the amazing nurses Tara, Shelley, Lana and Agatha, they treat you like FAMILY. Before coming here in 2018, I had been to five other doctors and numerous other fertility treatments with no success. The difference with SW Fertility is that they incorporate other medications along with the fertility medication which helps increase your chances. Their goal is to help you get that family you are hoping for! I can never thank them enough for always trying their hardest to help me get pregnant.

Dr. Peterson and the whole team did an amazing job walking is through the process. Dr. Peterson did not try and sell is on anything he did not think would work for us. The team was in constant communication, through text and the patient portal so we knew what was coming next. As you know, IVF is a financial commitment as well as pricey, but the team always let us know well in advance what the next payment would be. They accepted our HSA account as well. Having an office in Glendale was very convenient for us, and they made sure that most of our appointments could be done there. We are so grateful for Dr. Peterson and his team. My husband and I had a great experience here it was clean, professional, and there were never any long wait times.Reception was always really sweet at check in. Kelly Soares was an empathetic and nice whenever she did the ultrasounds. The doctors were all professional, informative, and gave me all the information I needed to make decisions. My favorite thing about all this is the ease of text communication with staff with any questions appointments, making it really easy, and they respond very quickly. The doctors pointed out what they saw in ultrasound and nice about explaining everything. I wish they could follow you through the whole pregnancy because I certainly would stay. The best clinic I could have ever asked for. My coordinator, Leah, is so kind and always happy to explain things. IVF is tough, but they make it bearable. Dr. Peterson was my primary physician with Yanely as my navigator. Couldnt have gone through the process sane, without them. We had 3 years to really get to know this team. From Larue with (sometimes daily) blood draws, Dalete and Kim explaining my billing and insurance needs, and of course Ally and Kelly being the ultrasound dream team through the good and bad. It was bittersweet to graduate from them; what a difference a “normal” OB office is. But all because of them we have a HHT free baby girl coming on October.

We could not have asked for better care than we received at Pinnacle Fertility, at both the Glendale and Scottsdale location. We are so thankful for the wonderful staff, PAs and doctors that helped us throughout our fertility journey. She is able to connect and build relationships with patients, making you feel comfortable at each appointment. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Joy!!! I came in lost and overwhelmed from my double mastectomy. My nervous system was so overloaded and I was feeling extremely anxious. Joy’s knowledge and expertise along with her thoughtful words and practice supported my mind, heart, and body while going through IVF treatments. I started my journey with her when I was a gestational carrier back in mid 2018 and I just finished up my own pregnancy on Halloween and have been seeing her through this pregnancy as well. She helps me with my mental emotional and physical needs, And I couldn’t of done it without her. At least not with as much grace and balance as I did and as I do now postpartum! My experience at Joy Wellness left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Joy explained to me how Eastern medicine can compliment Western medicine providing a more holistic approach to my over all well being. I was petrified of needles and Joy was sensitive to my concerns and worked to make sure that I was comfortable and talked me through my treatment. Joy is an intuitive and knowledgeable practitioner and I highly recommend her practice to you if you are on your journey to fertility or are simply looking for tools to support your overall health.

Joy is such an amazing provider and person. I started seeing her for 90 day fertility prep in early 2024. After completing the prep, I got pregnant within just a couple short months. She then provided me with pregnancy support acupuncture, which was definitely needed for that 1st trimester morning sickness. Her treatment helped ease my symptoms. I continued to see her for my entire pregnancy up until right before I delivered at 42 weeks. She was there to listen to me, provide guidance, and loving support. I attribute my calm and relatively stress free pregnancy to the accupunture I received. I also attribute my short labor to it as well. I highly recommend Joy for anyone looking for fertility, pregnancy or even just general wellness support. 10/10

Joy is incredible! She is a wonderful and highly knowledgeable acupuncturist and herbalist, and also has beautiful soul. Her energy is radiant and she shares all of that love with her clients. She is passionate about her work and her practice, and it is very evident. She has helped me manage hormones, stress and has given lots of support for herbal supplements and nutrition. I was a client for quite some time, prepping for potential ivf or iui treatments, as I was unsure which route I wanted to go circa 2018. Fast forward to 2025 one divorce and one marriage later I found myself expecting. I was told to contact dr lipskind if I ever found myself pregnant naturally. They said they would confirm it and direct me to a high risk doctor (I who I had previously consulted with through acffs). Dr. Lipskind did multiple ultrasounds over a few weeks to make sure my pregnancy was viable and prescribed me progesterone to help me. He was so kind and caring and has always had a great bedside manner. I have seen him for endometriosis and he did my first surgery. 10/10 would recommend. Very grateful for all your clinic does!

The staff here are incredibly friendly. From the front desk, to the nurses and doctors, everyone was kind, helpful, and genuinely made an effort to make me feel comfortable and help when I needed something. Especially Anna, I had a lot of issues with my injections, and when some things would change on my injection days and she always would go and ask someone or get me connected to a nurse quickly. . That stood out to me the most because great customer service is something I really value. Within my experience, Dr. Lipskind and his team were my Fertility group The only downside was the patient portal—it can be a little confusing to navigate, and I wish it was more user-friendly. Other than that, especially given the time crunch of needing fertility preservation before starting cancer treatment, I had a very positive experience and would absolutely recommend this clinic.

We are beyond grateful to Dr. Patel and his team for helping us bring our beautiful son into the world through IVF. From the moment we started our journey, we felt supported and cared for. Dr. Patel is a true expert in his field, and his knowledge, skill, and attention to detail were evident at every step. I scheduled an appointment with a Doctor for Monday, May 18th. On May 11th, I received seven separate communications requesting payment prior to my appointment. I made the requested payment of $176.16 to Arizona Center for Fertility. Two days later, on May 13th, I was contacted and told I would need to reschedule with a different provider. I chose not to move forward because I had specifically done extensive research to find the Doctor, received personal recommendations, and wanted time to research any alternative providers before agreeing to reschedule. During that call, I was told my $176.16 payment would be refunded. Understanding refunds can take time, I waited a week before following up. On May 20th, I called billing and left a voicemail, but my call was never returned. This morning, I received a receipt via email for $176.16 again. At first, I assumed it was simply documentation from my original May 11th payment, but the receipt shows today’s date, which created more confusion and concern. I have since called billing again and left another voicemail but still have not received any clarification. My experience has been frustrating due to the lack of communication and follow-through. I am still waiting for confirmation regarding the status of my original refund and an explanation for why I received another receipt for the same amount. I expected clearer communication and more responsive customer service throughout this process.

I had a great experience with Anna at ACFS. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and responsive throughout the entire process. Even when there were scheduling changes, she handled everything smoothly and made sure I was taken care of. We spent about 4 months with this clinic and, unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. Communication was one of the biggest issues. Calls often went unanswered, and when we did receive messages, they were unclear and unprofessional. At one point, we were left confused about next steps and were told, “whatever the doctor said I guess,” which was honestly shocking given the seriousness of fertility care. There was also a lack of transparency around pricing. We had to repeatedly ask for basic financial information, which should have been clearly communicated from the start. More importantly, we were never given a clear plan or direction. After months of appointments, we still felt like we were guessing our way through the process. Fertility is already an emotional and time-sensitive journey. What we needed was guidance, clarity, and compassion. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel supported in any of those areas. After seeking a second opinion at another clinic, the difference was immediate. In just one visit, we received more answers, a clear plan with backup options, full transparency on costs, and a personalized calendar tailored to our situation. It made us realize just how much had been missing before. I don’t leave reviews lightly, but time matters in this process. If you’re considering this clinic, I would strongly encourage you to ask detailed questions upfront and advocate for yourself. You deserve clear communication, a real plan, and a team that treats your situation with the care it deserves.

Dr. Couvaras is an outstanding doctor!!! He is very patient, kind and funny. He truly will go above and beyond to do what he can for you. Any question all you have to do is call in and he will answer it for you even though I know he is so busy with running two offices. I am so thankful for him. He is amazing.

My wife and I have been with IVF Phoenix since the summer of last year, and the entire experience has been amazing. From day one, the staff has been incredibly helpful, kind, and supportive. Everyone has excellent bedside manners and always makes us feel comfortable and cared for. Dr. Couvaras is informative and straightforward. He explains things clearly and helps guide us through this journey with confidence. We were nervous about finding the right doctor but after meeting Dr. Couvaras and his team, we knew we were in the right hands. They made a very intimidating process feel manageable and hopeful. Another thing we especially love is how easy it is to communicate with the office. We can text them with any questions, which makes getting answers fast and efficient. Thanks to ivf Phoenix we welcomed our miracle rainbow baby in March after years of secondary infertility. The staff and Dr Couvaras are the best in their field I am forever grateful for the team there!

I am currently in treatment, and I want to express the truly amazing experience I have had with Dr. Couvaras, his wife Rhoda, and the entire staff. Everyone has been incredibly patient, compassionate, and understanding throughout my journey. I had my egg retrieval a few weeks ago. After I was discharged from recovery and returned home, I began experiencing discomfort. Even though it was after business hours, I reached out to the clinic. Dr. Couvaras and his wife went above and beyond by coming into the clinic late at night just to make sure I was okay and to personally check on me. My husband and I are truly amazed by the level of care, dedication, and kindness they have shown us so far. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done.

I came to Dr. Couvaras after more than 4 years of working with other providers. I found his candor and hands on approach to be essential in what would end up being a successful cycle. What he does different starts with his intake and deep dive into testing to ensure every step of the process has the best chance of success. He was the one performing most ultrasounds, he was the one updating my protocol. He was very honest about my likelihood of success and not allowing me to have treatments that would be futile, even if it meant less profit for him. He will be honest, blunt even. But there is no guess work which I deeply appreciated. Dr. Couvaras is backed by a team of thoughtful, kind, and proactive nurses, staff and clinicians. They knew me when I would come in and were invested in my progress. I felt heard and important. I highly recommend Dr. Couvaras and team.

I cannot recommend IVF Phoenix enough. Dr. C, office manager Rhoda, and the rest of the team are warm, compassionate, attentive, and very responsive. Appointments are almost always on time. Dr. C is dedicated to, and goes the extra mile for his patients, even coming in on a weekend and holiday to just to work with my body’s timing and then to address an emergency. When I experienced some strange symptoms another weekend, he took the time to reach out to and consult with another specialist, address my concerns and call in new prescriptions, all on his birthday. Dr. C’s expertise and competence are also outstanding. I came to him with several rare preexisting conditions, poor egg quality and a high rate of aneuploidy after another doctor had recommended I try with donor eggs instead of my own. From my very first consultation, he was well informed on my conditions, asked new questions, and investigated things that had not previously been looked at. Once we started and had unsuccessful cycles, he came up with new strategies and ideas to overcome the issues I was facing. Even when I was ready to give up, he did not, and his confidence helped me overcome my fears and doubts to try again. When we finally got a euploid embryo, he did everything in his power to ensure I had a successful transfer, doing pre-implantation testing, adding a special protocol to my cycle, and supplement and lifestyle changes to boost the chances of success – and it worked. I cannot thank Dr. C enough for his dedication and steadfastness in making my dream come true, and his team for their support throughout my journey.

My partner and I have only just begun our journey with ARMS, but so far, everyone has been amazing. Dr. Moffitt was kind, straight forward, and explained the process and options. He let us know what things are required versus optional. The front desk staff have been friendly and patient when we call. The IVF coordinator (nurse) has been amazing. She explained the process to me. They’re responsive to portal messages. This is important as the process can feel very overwhelming. I know I read some reviews that stated they felt like a number. While I can see there is a degree of language or process that can appear that way. I believe its necessary and important for the very time driven and detailed work they do. I haven’t felt that way. Every staff member I have spoken with has treated me as an individual. Dr. Moffitt even asked us to tell him our story and took time to know us as an individual/partnership. So far, I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

I highly recommend ARMS to anyone looking to start their journey; my experience working with Dr.Moffitt and his staff has been phenomenal! My Nurse Ching-Mei was very responsive. Any Questions or Concerns were answered promptly, handled with genuine care and professionalism. Dr.Moffitt and Ching-Mei would spend as much time as needed to answer any questions that I had & I appreciated that the most given that this was my very first time visiting ARMS. I never felt like I was left in the dark, or like I was “just another patient” … they really took care of me here, there was a gentleness about the staff here that really made me glad that I chose ARMS. With the help and support of Dr.Moffitt and his Staff; my husband & I are expecting our baby in February! At my graduation appointment they gave me a small gift basket full of baby items and an ARMS teddy bear, I was not expecting that at all but even that small thoughtful gesture made me feel seen. I am overwhelmed with joy and just very thankful for all of their time, dedication and hard work with helping us. Thank you ARMS!

Our experience at ARMS with Dr. Moffitt was overall excellent, and we got what we wanted…a so far healthy baby at 11 weeks 3 days at the time of this review! ARMS was the 2nd clinic i consulted with, ultimately I mainly chose them out of extreme location convenience (90 second commute), over a popular Gilbert clinic that would have 40 plus people in the lobby with standing room only that ended up feeling like an assembly line. As time went on I started to appreciate much more than the location. -lack of pressure – i felt like they gave gentle suggestions of what options to take, based on evidence and Dr. Moffittt’s decades of experience -value based – overall i believe the cost at this clinic was less than most others. As an AF veteran they provided a veteran discount, and would always suggest lower cost medications than higher cost alternatives -“boutique” experience – though the clinic decor may not be modern or sleek, the wait room was never packed (anywhere from 0-6 people max). They seemed to do a good job of staggering appointments. Some visits took mere minutes, were always on time, extremely valuable as a working person and I felt my time was respected. -Easy portal communication – questions, appt times change requests, receiving updates and results, etc, their response time was typically within a few hours. -Follow through – if they said the results would be ready in the afternoon, if they said the Dr. would be calling from 4-6, etc, they did. -Flexible – they worked around my work and life schedule requests, and even an international trip that we had planned. I needed to get an ultrasound and blood draw out of country in order to stick to the transfer date of the transfer that ultimately ended up working! That was a fun, out of country, adventure for me and my husband. They accepted the results and here we are. Wishing anyone reading this all the best in their journey to pregnancy and that you find a clinic where you feel heard, cared for, and hopeful.

Extremely Unprofessional and Unresponsive — Please Be Cautious My experience with this clinic has been incredibly disappointing. I came here hoping to begin a very emotional and sensitive journey to grow my family. Unfortunately, I was met with complete unresponsiveness and a lack of professionalism. After reaching out to schedule an appointment, I never received any follow-up, health invite, or communication despite multiple attempts. They wasted my time and left me feeling completely disregarded during a process that already carries enough stress and emotion. If I had known how poorly this clinic treats potential patients, I would have gone elsewhere and already started receiving care. No one should have to chase down a fertility clinic just to be acknowledged. I strongly advise others to consider a more reputable and responsive fertility center. Your time, emotions, and future family plans deserve better.

Desert Seed Fertility has helped humanize the very medicalized and oftentimes cold world of infertility for me. Kate is warm, funny, and knows her stuff- she not only took her time going over my lab work, ultrasounds, and husband’s semenalysis, she also filled in gaps in testing we hadn’t been offered and suggested solutions in ways that were digestible and attainable. Going to a fertility doctor was a harsh experience for me with immediate offers of IVF without complete testing or other options presented. I could tell I was frustrating the doctor with my questions and trying to advocate for myself. Kate, on the other hand, encouraged me to keep advocating for myself and made me feel safe and respected. I left our appointment with a plan that made sense for me in my fertility journey and she has since been a huge resource in answering questions and helping me navigate the road to motherhood. I really love Kate and would 1000/10 recommend Desert Seed for all the hopeful parents-to-be out there who want warmth and support in their decision-making processes and fertility treatments!

I worked with Kathy when she was an assistant midwife with Alma Midwifery and Birth Center in Portland, OR. This was 7 years ago. At the time I really thought she was the lead midwife. When I learned she was the assistant I was shocked. Kathy took charge in the most gentle and kind way every time we met. She talked me through everything, was meticulous about getting my consent every time she touched my body, and always had a warm smile on her face. Kathy was the midwife in the team of 3 that met my wife and I at my home to monitor my labor before going to the birth center. She helped me stay in the best position so that I could move labor along and she was a calm, steady and encouraging presence when I was in a tremendous amount of pain. I remember feeling absolutely done at one point and telling her that I changed my mind and wanted to know the dilation of my cervix. I said I wanted to go to the hospital and that I couldn’t do it anymore. She respected that I changed my mind and told me that if I had made it to a seven that it was time to go to the birth center, but that if I wasn’t yet at seven that we would talk about it again. She then checked me and it was time to go. She reminded me that if I was at that point of wanting to give up that it likely meant I was in transition. And that was true! Kathy was just all around amazing through the whole experience. I could not have done an unmedicated birth without her. Needless to say, I highly recommend working with Kathy.
