I am so disappointed. I came in and paid $100 deposit and then left paying 245$ total. Kat and the front office lady told me that the brass color was normal from going from black to light so I was trying to be understanding. I came in for a balayage and I did go from black hair to lightening it and a toner. This looks horrible. I sent them photos and I am going to a new place today for them to have to fix it completely. If I don’t get refunded then this place is absolutely cruel. The new place consultation was shocked they charged me so much and with how it looks I was crying. Please contact me back Salon Surreal and please kindly issues my refund fully. This isn’t okay.

I had a very disappointing experience at Salon Surreal. Their highest level stylist did my highlights, and the result was extremely stripey and poorly blended (see photos). When I raised my concerns, they refused to acknowledge the mistake or take responsibility. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my bank and pay another salon a comparable price to have my hair corrected. Very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this place.

BE CAREFUL! My daughter came in for a cut and layers. They look terrible her hair was overall cut shorter than desired. Layers are very bulky, thick, choppy, & too short in the front, she asked to have them start past her chin! I don’t recommend for cuts! It’s very annoying I have to pay to fix this cut for my daughter & pay twice! She did tell the stylist about the layers being too thick & it being too short. They made no attempt to correct the choppy thick layers! They said “it will grow back!” WTH Really! Save yourself some frustration! Im absolutely furious I have to pay someone again to thin out her layers and fix this job! She usually goes to Habit which will end up fixing her hair. Her stylist was out of town so she gave this place a try.

I used to like this place but what in the mullet is this? Also, notice how uneven the left and right sides are. I have no confidence walking around like this, I feel ashamed to talk to people. I’m going back for whatever can be salvaged and I’m hoping they can do something to save this and that they will not charge me. Even ChatGPT can see this is a hack job (see pics)

Edit: They charged me for the continued Blowout appointment that I had cancelled. They are not responding. Additionally, another stylist from another salon said if heat were to have been applied it could have gotten more damaged due to how thin my hair is now. I was going not going to say the stylist’s name, but at this point it’s outrageous. Do not book with McKenzie / Kenzie since you’ll end up paying premium pricing for someone who does not know what they’re doing. – I booked and paid for a balayage that was quoted as including a blowout, but I left with wet hair, visible brassiness, a harsh root, and confusing charges that did not match the service as it was presented. I’m not a hair professional, but I’m sure a balayage is not supposed to look like this (see first picture, which was taken that same day when my hair finished airdrying) even if it’s without the shadow root. Stylist was nice, carefully listened to what I was requesting, and she offered me water and a charger for my phone. Very kind and she seemed to know what she was doing. At the end of the appointment, I spent roughly 20–30 minutes waiting for the “hair to lift” in the chair and then another 20–30 minutes under heat for additional processing because I was told it would help my hair lift faster. Fine. The stylist said her shift was ending 15 mins before the scheduled time, so she said she would not be able to dry the hair, offered for me to come on Monday (today). Fine. Later changes to Tuesday due to being off on Monday. Fine, I understand schedule conflicts. I was not able to see my complete result due to having my hair completely wet after she rinsed it. Fine. I had no choice but to wait due to the stylist not having time (claimed the next girl who uses her chair was coming in at 5, it was around 4:50 or so). I trusted the stylist’s expertise. I head over to the check out and I paid, left a $50 cash tip. I later check my email for the receipt, and notice I was charged a $62 VISH fee on top of my $209 service. Fine… Sure. Whatever that is (Tax + Service fee? Automatic Gratuity? Curly-hair tax?) Now this is what is completely unacceptable. I would have been okay with paying all of that if the results were worth it (and maybe if it included washing my hair before the coloring service). The final color pulled orange at the top, the blend near the root is harsh, and I am having noticeable shedding afterward. After brushing my hair, only the processed hairs came off. (see second image) On top of that, the billing was not transparent. I was quoted one thing (balayage + blowout), I did not receive the blowout and not only was I still charged for full service, the follow up she scheduled for Tuesday shows a $47 charge for the blowout. The main issues here were incomplete finishing, a result that did not look properly refined, and unclear pricing. I only came here due to needing a service quicker due to my other stylist being booked for a month+ out.

I recently got my hair glossed with a blowout by Brittany H. I was happy with the final color and I felt she achieved the shade I wanted. The only feedback is regarding the attention to detail during the service. When I got home I noticed color/gloss on both my ears and on my face around my hairline. I attached photos because I wasn’t sure if I was being too critical, but it was noticeable enough for my friend to point it out as well. Constructive feedback: I think taking time to clean up remaining color would make the experience feel more polished and professional. I also didn’t realized I was charged an additional $20 at checkout for more product used. I would return as a client because I’m happy with my color, but want to share this feedback so it helps improve the client experience.

I love the girls that work here. Personalities are bright and always made me feel at ease. I decided that the last session would be my last. I spent a lot of money trying to get my hair where I wanted it to be but after 3 sessions of spending $300-$400 each session, it’s still not finished. I have never heard of a salon counting foils as full vs half until I came here. It should be your full head or half head but I went with it and tried to trust the process. The photos were taken after the last session of both sides. The photo of my right side has a patch of blonde near the top of my head towards the front. It was damaged and my hair would always tangle in the shower in that area. I kept my review at 3 stars because their customer service is really great and I know my hair will grow out of it. I just wish I could have had my full head finished instead of just doing 40 foils each time.

I came to Swoon with a tall order and a challenging natural hair tone. I wanted a combination of light and dark color and a less traditional bob type cut. Brittany, who is also the owner, welcomed my ideas with a very wise transition plan to ensure the dramatic color could be achieved without damaging my fine curly hair. See the pictures to see the amazing result by Brittany. She is very talented and knowledgeable. It was so enjoyable to be at Swoon for hours of color processing. All of the people in the Salon are incredible professionals, thoughtful, easy to talk with and very accepting of who you are. On top of the high rating for Swoon, there are fabulous niche shops within the building where Swoon is located. Must visit Yumi’s coffee shop! But that’s a different review.

I’ve been going to Swoon Salon for a while now, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! Aria is absolutely amazing! She’s so talented, sweet and always makes sure I leave loving my hair. She listens to what I want and continues to knock that concept I have out of the park!! The salon itself has such a welcoming atmosphere, I’m always counting down the days until my appointments! If you’re looking looking for someone you can trust with your hair, definitely book with Aria!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Swoon! The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Brittany did an amazing job with my cut and color; she was thoughtful, took her time, and paid close attention to every detail. I left feeling refreshed and so happy with the results. My experience at Mane Attraction was so lovely! From the moment I walked in and was greeted, offered water, and a cooling gel pack – everyone was charming and seemed genuinely happy even though it was the very end of the day. I decided to try a new stylist- I wanted an Aveda salon near me. I contacted Main Attraction and was impressed with their communications. Taryn was my stylist and she was so personable and professional. She listened and gave me a great cut. The salon is beautiful and everyone is so nice. They gave me a welcome package- such a nice touch! I’ll be back!

Six months have passed since my experience with Shannon. I debated for a long time about writing this. But since the salon still advertises her as a color specialist and educator, I feel it’s important to share my experience. In September 2025 I went to Shannon for a consultation. At the time I was about 8 months post-chemo and had around 3 inches of regrowth that had been bleached and toned earlier in the summer. I was very clear about my history, and my goal to grow my hair out carefully and transition to highlights rather than continuing all-over bleach. We discussed this again at a trim appointment the following week. On October 16 I returned for a bleach and tone appointment. The service ran several hours – while my hair processed, an assistant was involved at different points, a red head gal kept telling her she was running behind. I was really concerned that the bleach was on too long, then at the shampoo bowl both Shannon and the assisintant were pulling the bleach through my very short hair. I was so worried. Well, because Shannon was running late, she didn’t do the final rinse or style. When I got home that evening and rinsed my hair in the sink so I could see the color and style it myself – large amounts of hair began breaking off, and the hair felt very gummy and damaged. The hair I had spent months growing back after chemotherapy was lost, down the drain, which was extremely upsetting. I had to go back on antidepressants. I shared photos with the salon showing the breakage. The owner did refund my money and gave me products to help with the damage, also cut it a couple of times. But, six months later, I am still working through the regrowth and recovery. I’m sharing this simply so others avoid going to her.

Dillon is seriously the BEST. I cannot recommend her enough. She’s done my balayage and baby highlights, and every single appointment has been amazing. I’m honestly the kind of person who gets super anxious going to a new stylist, so the first time I came in I was pretty stressed and probably gave her a little attitude without meaning to 😭 But she was SO sweet, calming, patient, and welcoming. She completely stole my heart from the first appointment. Now I fully trust her with my hair, which says a lot because I’m usually very picky and nervous about it. Every time I come in, I’m genuinely excited to see her, and I always leave feeling beautiful and obsessed with my hair. She somehow always understands exactly what I want and makes it even better. My hair looks so healthy, soft, and well taken care of, and I get compliments all the time. She’s incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and just an amazing person overall. Absolutely love her and will keep going to her forever 🫶

I’ve been going to Kylee for my hair for years and have followed her to Snapdragon from two previous salons. She is not only incredibly talented but also so kind and fun to chat with, making the two hours in her chair fly by. . Kylee is truly an expert at what she does. She’s consistent with every appointment, which I really appreciate because I always know I’m going to love the results. She listens carefully to what I want and never tries to talk me into something I’m not comfortable with. She also genuinely cares about the health of my hair, using products and techniques that keep it healthy, and looking its best. I always receive so many compliments on my color, and I couldn’t be happier with it every time. I highly recommend Snapdragon Salon, and especially Kylee. She’s the best!

As a new customer, I had a really great experience with Dorothy! I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted style wise, but she took the time to talk through ideas with me and helped me figure out a look that suited me perfectly. She did an amazing job cutting my hair and made sure I knew how to style it afterwards. Dorothy was friendly, kind, and made me feel comfortable the whole appointment. The final styling was amazing. She curled my hair perfectly and it turned out even better than I expected. You can tell she’s very skilled at both cutting and styling hair. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had such a wonderful experience at Snapdragon Salon. The receptionist was so lovely, got me checked in quickly, and offered refreshments (so sweet). I had an appointment with Ashleigh and I am absolutely elated with my hair and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. She was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. I went for a big chop and was extremely nervous but she handled my million questions and uncertainties like a champ. She went above and beyond to make sure I left her chair happy and didn’t bat an eye when right at the tale end I said “screw it, let’s do bangs!” I’m so so grateful for her and will certainly be back again.

I saw Dillon for the first time a month ago and the experience couldn’t have been better. She was so thoughtful and considerate about making my vision for my hair work. I had my hair done with Zander a few weeks ago, and to say he made my entire month is an understatement! He not only fixed a less than stellar haircut that I received at another salon, but he completely reinvigorated my bob! Drew did such a great job on my haircut! We had a great consult at the beginning of my visit to discuss what I wanted and she was very helpful. She is very detail oriented and took lots of care with shaping my layers; she cut before and after my hair was blow dried to make sure everything was perfect. I am so happy with the results and would highly recommend her services! I would also like to note that the salon itself is a very clean and peaceful environment and the products they use smell fantastic and made my hair feel so soft and smooth. 10/10!

Shane was worth every penny!! My previous hair cutting experiences left my hair ugly and all different lengths, totally unmanageable! Shane brought my hairstyle back to life! Needed services ASAP and concierge services got me in with new stylist, Samantha (new to Root, not new to hair). She was wonderful: great listener, better suggestions, spot-on execution of what we decided needed to be done to correct mistakes made at another salon. Highly recommend!!

Wendy’s consultation was thoughtful and thorough, and she really took the time to listen and understand what I needed, not just what I was asking for. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. She has what I would call “healing hands.” My hair feels healthier, lighter, and so much better than it did when I walked in. But more than that, I walked out feeling more confident, and that means a lot. She will be my hair stylist from this day forward. Wendy at Root is a treasure. I have not been this happy with my hair in years. The cut is so perfect that I can easily style it myself and be completely happy with the results. The color and highlighting are beautiful. The cut and color keep me looking fresh as my hair grows and the grey creeps in between salon visits .

I found it on a total last-minute whim after not cutting my hair for over FOUR years 😅 and I’m so glad I took a chance. From the outside, it’s easy to overlook because of the location, but once you walk in… it’s a whole different story. The salon is super clean, welcoming, and has such a nice, cozy feel. Lucy did my haircut and WOW… she absolutely delivered! She gave me exactly what I asked for and somehow made it even better. You can tell she really listens and cares about what you want. I left feeling so refreshed and confident. I also met who I believe is the owner, I didn’t catch her name, she was so kind and professional, which made the whole experience even better. Safe to say, I’ve officially found my go-to salon 💇‍♀️ I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future trims and cuts. Highly recommend!

Hi! I really loved this salon. I’m usually very picky about my hair, and I feel like no one ever gets it exactly right. But Lucy cut my hair, and I absolutely loved it. She gave me the butterfly cut I wanted, and the layers and bangs turned out stunning. She also kept the damage in my hair in mind while still making sure I didn’t lose too much length. I left feeling so happy with my hair and would definitely recommend her! She is a great listener

I cannot recommend Dairely at Alexander’s Beauty Salon enough! We walked in without an appointment, and she was able to take my mom for a layered haircut. Dairely did an absolutely amazing job! She really listened to what my mom wanted, and the layers came out perfect. My mom left the salon looking and feeling beautiful, and she hasn’t stopped smiling since. If you are looking for a skilled, attentive stylist, go see Dairely! We will definitely be coming back.

If I could give negative stars I would. I went in just for a trim and cut. I showed the lady the picture and she said she can do it (the picture was long hair styled cut). I had really long hair and told her multiple times just trim the bottom and not to cut my hair any shorter. I was horrified and sad after I was done. She cut off so much and I walked out with my hair a lil passed my shoulders when it was originally passed my butt. There was no refund or anything given not even an apology. By far the worst service I’ve had and horrible customer service.

Sandra was the best! It has been many years since I had a haircut I loved and I am so glad I found her. She was very attentive and addressed all my questions/concerns to give me the exact haircut I wanted.

I have major anxiety when attempting anything with my hair. Makayla walked me through my thoughts and helped me feel confident to try something completely out of my comfort zone and it turned out more beautiful than I would ever thought. I LOVE it! I would highly recommend her! Especially if you are thinking about a beautiful balayage. Pure artistry!

So happy I found Shear Paradise! Walked in the other day to see if anyone could give me the haircut I wanted. Made an appointment and then went back this morning for that appointment. Did not disappoint. I got the exact haircut that I have been trying to achieve with other stylist. Elizabeth was absolutely the easiest person to talk to super friendly, but I mean everybody there is. I will definitely be back! Update: took my oldest daughter today for an updo since it’s prom night. Amy did an amazing job. The smile my daughter hasn’t taken off speaks volumes. Thank you again!

I’m new to the area and found this place while scouting for new tanning locations, and glad that I did! Staff is so nice and friendly. Always clean and the level 2 stand-up is awesome and their monthly unlimited plans are priced well. I plan on scheduling a massage at some point too. 5 🌟 hidden gem of a place.

Customer service is great from speaking to Kathy, then being received by Hailey, and my stylist Elizabeth. Elizabeth was amazing and so sweet and did exactly what i wanted. I think Shear Paradise is one of the best kept secrets as far as salons go, and it should not be! Everyone should know about this wonderful salon! I went to Rockie, who is know as “The Perm Queen” and what a great experience! Not only did she take the time to find out what it was that I was looking for, but she also did an assessment to determine how a perm would work for my hair. She explained everything step by step in easy to understand terminology, and she really took her time to do a wonderful job! She made sure I was comfortable throughout the process, and even took the time to be sure I understood how to care for my new style and perm. Her nickname of The Perm Queen is perfect! I absolutely love my new style and have received so many compliments. It is so much easier to care for and looks quite stylish. It is very soft, manageable, and did not damage my hair. And now for the salon. What a great place. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they even have a small retail section that has many fabulous accessories at very reasonable prices. I very highly recommend Rockie as a stylist, and Shear Paradise Salon!

Front desk staff member was very welcoming! She was very knowledgeable and walked me through my first tanning session! Had a great time and have been recommending to anyone I know. I live 50 minutes away from this salon and I would absolutely drive here everytime for this service. Very clean and stocked up on lots of products as well.

I had a wonderful experience with Hailee! I came in requesting a full head of highlights on my very dark brown hair and she did amazing! Definitely will be back when my touch up is due ❤️

I LOVE this place! I have had my hair done, used the tanning, and red light therapy. They also have a shop that I have bought a few necklaces and earrings from. The owner is often there to check you in, she’s super friendly, and always gives you the best deal she can (for example if you see a Groupon you can bring it in and she will give you that price instead of buying it on the Groupon site). The place is very clean. I highly recommend them to everyone!

I absolutely adore Shawn, he has been my go to hair dresser for a few years now. I have pesky grays that are growing and he does a great job with full color, and highlights to hide my regrowth and a beautiful haircut. I have very curly hair so it has been unmanageable in the past at previous salons. I always walk out feeling like a million bucks after he works his magic!

Miranda worked very hard on dying my hair. I found my new Salon Home. This salon has a hair stylist for everyone’s hair type. Very diverse group of men and woman all super friendly. Any change you’re looking for they will get the job done!

Alex did a great job with my haircut and balayage. She explained me well how we can reach to the color which I wanted, though i am satisfied with my day 1 results. I really got the color I desired. I will come back to Alex for my hair again !!

Jamie Beran is an amazing stylist. I had tried 7 other places/stylists over the past 3 years and reach time I was extremely unhappy with their work. Jamie takes the time to understand what I like/looking for in a hair cut/ style. I know what your thinking… It’s a straight bob…that’s an easy cut… Apparently, not for the 7 people before him!!

I had an appointment with Niza for a balayage and trim. I highly recommend R Salon and Niza. The salon was very clean. Niza is AMAZING! He did an awesome job coloring my hair. It’s obvious that he has a passion for this and he’s got a great eye for what looks good and on who (depending on your face shape). He also understood that I’m a bit on the lazy side when it comes to my hair, so he styled it based on what I told him my routine was and how often (or I should say of not often) I go to the salon. He also gave me some great tips on how to style it different with minimal effort. I also really enjoyed my appointment with Niza because he’s a great conversationalist. Go see Niza!

Update: my stylist reached out to set up time to correct the miscommunication. I have proceeded with another salon stylist at this time. My hair looks terrible. I had 8+ inches cut off and asked for a bayalage. I got chunky orange highlights unevenly disbursed. In one day I had 2 people point out that there were chunks of my hair that weren’t cut and are much longer than the rest. The back is cut unevenly so I can put half of it up in a pony tail and the other half I cannot. I specifically asked for the style to be “something new” and left with a terrible hair cut, style, and color. The cut is exactly what I had minus the 8+ inches I asked for too but cut for a NEW style. Now I get to go pay another $200 to have someone fix what I just paid $120 to have done in the first place. The stylist I saw should be the #1 person who should have made sure I left happy. The photos show what I showed my stylist I was hoping to reach eventually and what I left with. I understand I will not be leaving with silver hair bc that color is impossible to reach in one session. But this is absolutely nothing even close to what I asked for.
