Was visiting from Hawai’i and ended up buying a bike from Sun & Ski mostly because Dillon and Nathan in the bike shop were so incredibly helpful. They offered to box up the bike for me to check on my flight home after allowing me to ride the bike for a week on some of the great local trails. It wasn’t until I got home and opened the box that I understood the care and time that had been put into packing the bike to be sure it wasn’t damaged in transit. Truly exceptional service from beginning to end!! Mahalo Nathan and Dillon!

Best kept secret for bike buying in Phoenix. I wouldn’t buy a bike anywhere else—period. After nearly a month of research trying to find the right bike for my needs, I kept coming back to one place: Sun & Ski Sports. And now I know why. Jessica, Aaron, Dillon, and Nathan were outstanding from start to finish. They took the time to dial in proper sizing, walk through components in a way that actually made sense, and answer every question without a hint of pressure. That kind of honest, knowledgeable service is rare. I walked out confident—not just in the bike I chose, but in the value. I did my homework… extensively. No one came close on price for the quality I got. If you’re serious about getting the right bike and want a team that genuinely cares about getting it right, this is the place.

Finally got new footbeds for my ski boots. Just back from 5 days skiing at Purgatory and Wolf Creek and my feet felt fantastic and toes had enough room. Kudos goes out to Bill at the Paradise Valley location for his experience in the matter. My feet say ThX

Landis has the best people working there. All of them are friendly and knowledgeable. I have been there a few times during the tandem bicycle restore I am working on. They are always helpful and answer all my questions, even ones I didn’t know I had yet. When I first started this project I was ordering stuff from Amazon and Ebay. I ended up in the shop for a part I couldn’t find and also didn’t feel comfortable ordering sight unseen. Sure wish I had just started coming here from the beginning. Their prices are either the same or better and the quality is guaranteed and comes with an expert to tell you how to install and maintain it. They will for sure be seeing more of me here. Thank you again for being awesome.

Traveled to Phoenix from Ohio, bike damaged in transport, so I took to Landis. Excellent shop with wide variety of bikes and accessories. Well stocked. And, more importantly, a large shop with ample staff who immediately took control of my unique situation. 2 mechanics worked on the issue for 20 minutes to resolve. They were dogged in finding a solution, which they did. I was back there 2 days later after flat that could not be repaired. Purchased a tire, they installed. Landis twice salvaged my riding week in Phoenix. Exceptional customer service. Highest grade, and my thanks.

You can tell they actually care about their customers and take pride in their work. Absolutely love Landis Cyclery! The staff here are incredible—every single person I talked to was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to help. Whether you’re an experienced rider or just getting started, this is the place to go. I came in totally new to cycling and training for my first triathlon, using a friend’s bike that needed a full tune-up. The team helped me get everything ready—fresh tires, new pedals, gear grease, seat adjustment, and a full safety check. They also took the time to fit me properly for a helmet and bike shorts, making sure I was completely comfortable and confident. You can really feel the care and passion this shop has for their customers. I left not only with a bike that felt brand new, but also with the motivation and excitement to ride. Huge thanks to the amazing team at Landis—you’ve got a lifelong customer here!

Avoid if you are female. Bought 4 bikes here including one this month. Not calibrated, derailer was not lined up in higher gears on first ride. Brought back within one week of purchase and told it was fine. Had a video proving otherwise. Sent away without repair because told I would need to leave it for a week for a quick derailer adjustment? On a brand new broken bike? So I left, texted the video to bike friends, and they all had the same assessment: I was being gaslit for being a female cyclist and to go back in and drop my male cyclist friends names. Note: I am a CEO and fairly skilled at getting teams to take responsibility. Friendly requests typically work. Not here. Moral of the story: don’t shop here being female. 30 year bike commuter with 20 year history of buying bikes at Landis won’t fix sexist comments. It also won’t fix mansplaining, including comments like this: “you probably don’t want to bike that fast,” when I said I needed to use the higher gears that were clicking. It also won’t fix this veteran biker being treated like a novice. Thinking there might be a technical issue with that year’s bike, I asked that the gears be calibrated to the highest 3 gears, as I can live without a few if the lowest gears in flat Phoenix. The response? More mansplaining. “You shouldn’t ride with just high gears, you’ll wear out the gears”. Duh. Who said I would? Speaking words here as a female gets very little understanding. They also refused to watch the videos. Avoid. I should have driven to another store with a better track record selling Treks. Never again. Second video was after they turned me away the first time, and I came back after recording the same problem 5 minutes later after texting bike friends. If you must visit, stand your ground, and drop male cyclist names. Team: do better. Read and respond. Apology would be nice.

Jacob was so friendly and helpful today at the store. It was our son’s 13th birthday and he was able to test out some bikes and special order one. This is a great bike shop. Friendly staff, quality work, and they even recommended a great place to eat lunch while I was waiting for them to finish my bike. I raced the Whiskey 50 and needed someone to re-install my derailleur and inspect/torque bolts on my bike after my flight to Phoenix. They were able to do all of this the same day and finished within an hour – just long enough for me to enjoy lunch. Most other places I contacted couldn’t or wouldn’t do same day. My bike performed phenomenally for the race thanks to them.

I recently agreed to go on a bikepacking trip without really knowing what I was getting myself into. After visiting a couple of local bike shops, Exhale Bikes immediately stood out. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a staff that was incredibly patient with all of my questions and lack of cycling knowledge. What impressed me most was that they took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered multiple recommendations without ever making me feel pressured or trying to upsell me. In fact, they even suggested renting a bike that was nearly identical to the one I eventually purchased, just in case I decided bikepacking wasn’t for me. That level of honesty and customer service is hard to find. After grabbing lunch and talking with a few cycling friends, they all told me the same thing… if Exhale has a bike you like, jump on it because their prices are tough to beat. I headed right back and ended up becoming the proud owner of a Specialized Diverge, something I honestly never thought I’d be able to afford. The team also took the time to recommend gear and setup options specific to the trip I was planning, making sure I had what I needed without pushing unnecessary extras. They worked with me to find a solution that fit both my goals and my budget, and I left feeling confident and excited about my new adventure. If you’re new to cycling, or you’re an experienced rider looking for a shop that genuinely cares about its customers, I highly recommend Exhale Bikes. Great people, great service, and an overall fantastic experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, the van was great and we had a great trip. But twice I was told something and then was told no that’s not right. I was told not to make a reservation and to just come on in, should have made the reservation. Then was told I could return it back from 8-5 yet when I return they said oh no we are going to charge you more for bringing it past 9 am. Very pleasant and professional experience! We had 7 people in our group and everybody at A1 has been great talking us through all cons and pros of choosing a 7 minivan or a 12 passenger Ford Transit regarding comfortable sitting, luggage space etc. We went with Ford Transit in the end and it was a smooth and comfy ride (my first time driving such a big van and loved it)! Special thanks to Josh who worked with us around our delayed flight finding a solution for pick up. Early drop off was a breather too. Thinking to go back with another group in the fall and we’ll definitely be renting here again. Thank you Josh and A1!

Was referred to Gordys by a friend from the BMX track we started going to to build my son a bike for racing. Ignorant to the sport Kevin took the time to really explain the things we needed in layman’s terms and got us completely suited for success. This shops passion to these kids and the sport of BMX racing is truly remarkable. We got his first bike and after a few practices got out there and got his first win. Cant say enough good things about Kevin and Gordys for helping us make this transition into the BMX racing world. We’re here to stay and HIGHLY recommend checking them out you wont be disappointed!

I came in for a new tube on my unicycle. It’s a pretty straight to business shop. They told me prices up front and fixed my tire. It’s a clean shop and looks like they’ve got deals on things around the store. I’m grateful for proximity and any place that will do quality service on bikes.
