Desert Botanical Garden is a well laid out desert garden experience. There is a lot of signage for directions and explanations of plants. I just happen to be here in the summer so expect the heat. The gardens close between 1pm and 5 pm during peak temperatures in the summer. However, your paid entry price in the morning will allow you to return in the evening. Just keep the receipt. During the summer, there is an “after dark” shimmering light display along some paths. The gardens also offer an on site restaurant “Gertrude’s” and a gift shop. This is a great place for Botanical garden enthusiasts.

We stopped here during our last day in Phoenix and came in the early morning. We came in the middle of August. We were impressed by the easy navigation of the gardens, but a couple of the spots were closed unfortunately. I loved getting to see all of the native plants and cacti. There was such a large variety. We also saw a number of cool animals such as ground squirrels, a roadrunner, birds, butterflies, and tons of quail. They had a number of water stations which was appreciated and a cooling center which was a great stop towards the end. Overall very well maintained and kind staff. For a botanical garden, they also had a pretty good gift shop where we picked up a couple things.

Beautiful setting. A bit pricey considering you’re walking around the same scenery after awhile but it is beautiful and I’m sure the costs are up there. I’d recommend booking ahead of time on their website to reserve a spot. Gretchen’s restaurant (on site) smelled amazing too! The park also has a nice little gift shop

The Desert Botanical Garden is one of my favorite places in the Valley. The plants are absolutely beautiful, and there is always something interesting to see no matter what time of year you visit. As a photographer, I love all the textures, colors, and unique Arizona scenery. It’s a gorgeous spot for senior portraits and family photos, but it’s also just a great place to slow down and enjoy nature. If you’re visiting Phoenix or looking for something different to do locally, I highly recommend spending a few hours here. And don’t forget your camera—you’ll leave with plenty of beautiful photos.

One of the best botanical gardens I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. Went on a Wednesday evening, bought tickets there, no wait. Well maintained, friendly check in, and rich in wild life…. I loved seeing all the different kinds of cacti and plants. Saw bunnies, snakes, roadrunners, and many kinds of birds. Sunset was absolutely beautiful and loved seeing how the plants lit up at night. So beautiful. I will be visiting again!

Came here for the night lights in July and it was amazing. The way well placed lighting can showcase, textures and aspects of the plants is not to be understated. The color palette is definitely a bit psychedelic, which gives it a very dreamy feel. Artfully built grounds that are just beautiful to walk around and even during the day and a really fantastic variety of desert adapted plants from around the world with good interpretation signs about the differences.

Would absolutely recommend a trip to the desert botanical garden! I was visiting AZ for a short two day trip and this was a really nice way to experience and learn about some of the native Arizona vegetation all in one place. Chihuly glass is an added bonus – I just love those art pieces! Even more beautiful seeing them lit up at night on the way out. Parking wasn’t hard to find and it was free. We did book in advance, but probably didn’t need to based on the crowd level when we went around 6pm. Definitely worth the visit!!

Nice spot to check out a show. We saw Wale & Smino there. There really isn’t a bad view in the house. The acoustics are good & the environment was really chill & intimate because you’re not so far away from the performers. Would definately recommend catching a show there. Lots of dining options in the area as well.

Been going to this venue since it opened! Great acoustics and the venue is modern! Very professional staff and they deliver an amazing experience for everything from rap(Pusha T) to rock(Modest Mouse) music. Just went on 3/31 to see Los Growlers aka The Growlers ;)! Place is one of my favorite’s because it feels very intimate and there is not a bad spot jn the house 💯. I say spot because there are no seats except for the Mezzanine level so if you are handicapped or unable to stand keep that in mind. Also on that note you access the Mezzanine level via stairs and I didn’t see any lifts but I would ask the box office regarding those accommodations. Have Blast and also consider going to Ziggy’s Pizza next to it🍕 before the show they have excellent pizza and a very cool hidden bar you get to by going through a “speakeasy” style door by the restrooms. Enjoy and make lifelong memories!

Up close and personal what you want in a venue for artist you love. The bathrooms were clean and plentiful, bars didn’t take forever and had a variety of options for all ages that was a major plus. Parking wasn’t too bad and pre gaming next do at Ziggy’s combos perfectly. Must go back

This is a great venue. My wife and I saw the RX Bandits here recently and it was such a great experience. 1,800 people, multiple bars, food options, security, and great service. We were on the mezzanine and really enjoyed the seats. Highly recommend!

Great venue paying 15$ extra to stand on the balcony was a bit much though, with no balcony seating option. When me and my gf looked up there was no one on top either 😅 Tips would be to pay extra for parking, and bring earplugs and it does get loud

Saw Snow tha Product here. Getting in took a little bit. The line wrapped around to neighboring apartments. However, once inside it was perfect! Drink lines moved smoothly & quickly. I had an ADA accommodation. Getting to my assigned seat was easy. The sound quality was really good. I got my parking ahead of time so that was easy as well. I would recommend doing the same especially if it’s s weekend night show. I would definitely come back for another show here!!

We recently stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge and had an outstanding experience. The highlight of the resort is definitely the pool complex. It’s beautifully maintained, offers something for everyone, and never felt overcrowded despite the size of the resort. Whether we were relaxing by the water or enjoying the lazy river, it was easy to spend the entire day outside. The food and drinks exceeded our expectations. Every meal was fresh, well prepared, and there were plenty of options throughout the property. The cocktails were excellent, and the poolside food and beverage service made it easy to enjoy the day without ever having to leave our lounge chairs. What truly set this resort apart was the service. Every employee we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay. From check-in to the restaurants, pool staff, and housekeeping, the hospitality was consistently exceptional. Overall, the JW Marriott Desert Ridge delivered a true luxury resort experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with fantastic pools, great food and drinks, and top-notch service, this resort is an easy recommendation. We would absolutely stay here again.

I recently toured JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa and was thoroughly impressed. This is truly one of Arizona’s premier resort destinations. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning desert landscaping, spacious grounds, and a welcoming luxury atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The pool complex is outstanding and offers something for everyone, whether you’re looking to relax, enjoy family time, or simply soak up the Arizona sunshine. We also had the opportunity to visit several of the restaurants, and the dining options were impressive, offering a variety of experiences and exceptional service. What stood out most was the attention to detail throughout the resort. The staff were friendly and professional, the common areas were immaculate, and every part of the property reflected the quality you’d expect from a JW Marriott resort. Whether you’re planning a staycation, family getaway, golf trip, business conference, or luxury vacation, I highly recommend JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. It’s a true Arizona gem and well deserving of 5 stars.

Lovely stay, I enjoyed the resort. The staff were very friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and not overly expensive. If you want to relax then the pool area has a nice endless pool and a lazy river. There’s also the 21+ swimming pool area. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It’s an all around great place to stay.

5 stars all the way around. Attended a convention at the property snd it met all of my expectations. My suite was lovely overlooking the water slides and pool. Though the temps were over 115 during the day, my meetings kept me inside the cooler meeting rooms. Food quality both st the resorts restaurant and convention meals was also very good. Truly an enjoyable four days at the resort.

JW Marriott brand, in general, straddle the line between upscale and reasonable and Desert Ridge was no different. Large bathroom with separate tub and shower, spacious bedrooms with lots of sockets and USB ports, illy’s coffee pods with half and half (and not fake cream). My room had a balcony with seating. It’s a large property but they had elevators located all over so that they were easy and fast. A super large Starbucks and lots of meeting space. The staff is friendly and attentive. The water park is large and there are lots of pools and the property is kid friendly. Those are all the pros. The cons: in general, if you have a room around atrium it’s loud because they have a lot of meetings and events there and the noise travels up. The Lazy River can look like people soup on the weekend and in general Phoenix feels like an oven in June. I had spicy tuna roll take out from Kembara which was fresh but not spicy. Tia Carmen breakfast buffet is stellar! I would take my grandchildren back there or have a celebration there. The banquet food was good, too. Oh, best of all, Desert Ridge Marketplace is in walking distance but it’s too hot to walk and there is a nice Nordstrom’s Rack!!! Score!

Two-Night Stay Review We spent two nights at the hotel with a suite and adjoining room booked for our family. Unfortunately, the stay was marred by a series of significant issues. Check-In & Room Problems Checked in Friday at 4pm; waited 20-25 minutes, which staff said was common. The adjoining room wasn’t ready — we were told we’d get a call when it was. Our suite smelled strongly like something had died in it. Front desk said they’d send an ozone machine and asked us to leave for 30 minutes. We went to the pool for an hour; on the way back, we found housekeeping in our room spraying air freshener — no ozone machine had ever been sent (staff later admitted they didn’t have one). When we called about the second room, we were told it was ready, but had to go downstairs and wait in line another 10-15 minutes for the key. Safety Concern: Broken Door Lock Back in the room, my 2.5-year-old immediately ran to the sliding patio door, opened it, and started climbing on the outdoor chairs. I stopped him and discovered the door lock was broken — a serious safety issue with two young children (ages 2.5 and 4). I called the front desk immediately; they promised an immediate fix. We left for an event at 6pm hoping it would be resolved. Returned at 8pm: the smell was still there, and the lock was still broken. Requested a room change — was told none were available. I explained the safety hazard of having small children in an unsecured room; staff apologized but said there was nothing they could do, promising to move us in the morning. I ended up barricading the door with furniture overnight to keep it secure. Day Two: Still Unresolved The smell had worsened by morning — bad enough that a neighboring party staying below us also started noticing it. Requested another move; told no rooms were available yet, and we’d get a call. Went to the pool; got a call the new room was ready, but had to return to the front desk and wait another 20 minutes for the key. Told to find the bell desk ourselves to arrange luggage transfer — but the bell desk said they couldn’t do that due to liability, and I had to be present for the move. Assisted with the move myself. The bellman was also taken aback by the odor and speculated it might be related to ongoing construction. The A/C in the new room’s bedroom didn’t work either. At that point, we were done. We made due for the remainder of the stay, packed up, and checked out early the next morning. Side Note The other party traveling with us was also moved to a new room that night — but their luggage was transferred by the bellman with no one present, unlike our experience. Final Thoughts I really wanted to like this hotel, but it felt old and run-down, and the service was poor throughout our stay. One bright spot: Tia Carmen was fantastic and is highly recommended.

We stayed at the Arizona Grand Resort over Labor Day weekend and had such a great experience! We saw that they had a magician performing and fireworks shows during our stay, so we knew we had to check it out and nothing disappointed! Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a great time at the waterpark, and even though my son was just 1/4 inch too short for the waterslides, we still made the most of it and had a blast! One of the highlights was having a balcony with a view of the fireworks. Watching them right from our room was an unexpected bonus and absolutely spectacular! And of course, the magic was a huge hit with our family. We met the magician, and he completely blew our minds! He was personable, entertaining, and so engaging. We got to watch his show table-side, and we spent the entire time laughing, smiling, and watching in awe. It was such a fun family getaway that my son is already asking, “When do we get to go back?” That says it all! We can’t wait for our next stay at the Arizona Grand!

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in while and such a shame as I was really looking forward to staying here. When we arrived, there was a line like at Disney to get to the front desk. Once we make it to the rep, they advise us our room was not prepared, mind you it was already 4:30. We leave to go run errands and they let us know our room is ready at about 6pm. We get back late at around 11. We get into the room in the Sedona building and realize it’s not the room we booked and they threw us into a wheel chair accesible room with no view other than their deck. As we get ready to get comfy my daughter pulls a clump of blonde hair from the pillows and bed sheets. As that was my last straw I call the front office and they tell me all they can do is remove the resort fee and send me the maintenance man to bring me clean sheets so I can remake the bed since housekeeping was gone for the day. I tell them if they can switch me rooms atleast and they say they are sold out. I tell them to just give me my money back. So we ended up leaving at 12 pm at night searching everywhere for a different hotel exhausted. Such a disappointment with the whole experience in general.

I loved this place! It was quite spacious and it was very clean. We had a conference here and everything was superbly done. The staff was friendly and courteous and the pools were fantastic. Speaking of rooms, they were clean and spacious. My only wish would have been a microwave, but small inconvenience for how well we were treated. If this place is not on your bucket list, put it on there. Drive a couple hours to grand canyon, petrified forest, come back for great food, wonderful pools and peaceful sleep. Bravo!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt peaceful, luxurious, and so relaxing. Everything was beautifully maintained, clean, elegant, and gave such calming resort vibes. The spa experience itself was exceptional. The massage was incredibly relaxing, professional, and honestly one of the best spa treatments I’ve had. The staff made sure I felt comfortable the entire time and were very welcoming, attentive, and professional. We decided to do a last minute staycation at the AZ Grand, as we hadn’t been in years. Rooms are spacious, but could use some updating. The kids had a blast at the water park and the hubby and I enjoyed some relaxation by the adult lap pool. From the lobby bar and grill to drinks and food out by the pool, though pricey, everything was well made and delicious. The staff were very friendly and personable as well. My only complaint would be about the staff. Specifically, all the summer staff by the oasis water park. Why is there no misters, misting fans…things to not only help cool your guests during the summer heat, but your staff as well, that go above and beyond for you. While sitting at the main oasis bar, we noticed an HVAC system, but were told it hadn’t worked in years. What a shame! Treat your employees/staff well and you’ll get it back tenfold. I hope you take that into consideration and looking forward to visiting again.

The place was beautiful all around. Very quiet at night. The scenery was lovely. I took a walk early morning and during the night and it was very peaceful. The gym was pretty cool too. The kids had fun. The only issue i had was that my room was not ready at check in time and we were tired from driving into town . It was day one from our trip. But other than that no issues

We have stayed here several times over the years and it’s always enjoyable for the kids for sure. In the past I recall not sleeping very well due to the outdated rooms and hard beds. This trip we went last minute same day reservations. Upon arrival front desk was very polite and even upgraded us. We ended up on the 5th floor overlooking the lazy river and pools. Beds seemed to be a bit better but still didn’t sleep much due to AC never getting below 70 even though it said it was 60. 😅 The bed and pillows were ok, sheets were not soft but very rough. The room was clean and roomy and price point was fair in my opinion. The only issue at all was AC which I guarantee would be good for anyone else was just a bit warm for me and the shampoo bottle mounting was cracked but that’s the worst it got. Very happy with everything overall. The view was great and will attach a picture. Fireworks were awesome! Another highlight was the entertainment they brought in. Wildlife experts brought animals in for kids and adults to get up close to including turtles and an eagle but Robert the magician was amazing and left the kids in awe, he walked the pool area for hours always giving his best acts over and over and my kids kept asking for more, he was great. A couple other great people to mention was Isabella our cabana waitress was great and Ray in reservations both did an outstanding job! The cabana is nice especially on a busy hot day, a bit pricy but if you only travel a couple times a year it’s worth the splurge. Food in pool area was ok, a bit on the pricy side but I guess that’s how it goes in resorts, you get a hotdog for $15 and drinks 15$ water $4.50 although we got 12 free in the refer with the cabana the second day which was nice. Complementary cookies were good. We liked the fruit dish they gave us last time better. Pools were clean and grounds were well maintained. Night time movie was fun for the kids, still hot out but was a fun experience. Lots of shade in all areas and lots of lounge chairs, plenty of tubs for lazy river and all items looked to be in good condition. Parking can be a bit hard at this location when they are busy. Food in the lobby restaurant was good and not as expensive. Breakfast options were good and we went with just ordering plates vs the open breakfast buffet due to it being $36 adults and $24 kids although that being said it’s free for kids under 4 which was awesome! Overall it’s a great place that is run extremely well for its size. Impressed. Thanks for the memories!

We did the 5 course dinner which was exceptional!!!!! The price is high but so worth it. The wait staff were pleasant and engaging. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the foods and the sources on the farm. The service was slow but it allowed us time between courses. The atmosphere was like a cute evening garden. The young man who collected our dishes was polite and engaging! The food was all farm to table which we appreciated and was so tasty. My favorite thing was the red pepper sorbet dessert. This was truly an amazing experience that we hope to do again.

We recently visited The Farm at South Mountain and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The weather was perfect, which made the experience even better since we were able to sit and dine outside in the beautiful courtyard area. The service was outstanding, and the staff took the time to thoroughly explain the entire food and drink menu while answering any questions we had. We decided on the 3-course dinner, although they also offer 4- and 5-course options for those looking for a more extensive dining experience. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. One of the highlights of the evening was the tour of the kitchen, where they explained the entire farm-to-table process and how much of their food is locally sourced and produced. It really added to the overall experience and appreciation for the restaurant’s concept and quality. Overall, it was an incredible dining experience. While it is on the pricier side, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in the Valley of the Sun.

I really enjoyed my experience at The Farm. It’s such a great spot for a Saturday morning—perfect for grabbing a coffee and a bite to eat. You can stroll around and take in the views or relax in one of the many seating areas. The food tasted fresh, and while the bread on the Monte Cristo was delicious, the sandwich itself wasn’t the best I’ve had. It’s a lively place too—during our visit alone, we saw a proposal, a baby shower, and a work event happening. The shop is adorable, and you can truly find a little bit of everything there.

The atmosphere was very nice. The outdoor atmosphere was very nice and fit the mood very well. The food was pretty good but it was not anything amazing. I got the half soup half sandwich combo. The soup was lacking pork which was one of the main ingredients in it. The sandwich I got (pecan chicken salad) had great flavor and fit the vibe of the place. The food was a little expensive but good.

I’m going to have to say that the atmosphere, the history, and the service definitely carries this place. I have dined in some of the finest places in the world I have paid pretty penny for it. But make no mistake that I have paid good money for the food. This place had amazing service and of course the Wrigley mansion is iconic but most definitely lacking in that exquisite flavor department. I felt as if they were making the same dish for absolutely everyone instead of making it an exquisite and individual experience for each guest. There was no thought invested into the presentation of the dish. Usually an upscale chef tries to place his personal signature on the dishes that are presented. The Crab Cappelleti was hard around the edges, and I was never given a choice of how I wanted my Prime Rib cooked. The cocktails were spot on I must say. The view was absolutely stunning, of course, the history of the mansion reveals itself as you do your self-guided tour. Overall the evening was very pleasant and enjoyable.

Wrigley Mansion is one of those places that reminds you why Phoenix is so special. The historic architecture, breathtaking city views, and elegant atmosphere make every visit feel like an occasion. From the moment you arrive, the service is warm and attentive, and every detail is thoughtfully executed. Whether you’re celebrating a special event, enjoying cocktails at sunset, or having dinner, the experience is unforgettable. It’s the perfect blend of history, luxury, and incredible hospitality. If you’re looking for one of the most beautiful dining destinations in Phoenix, Wrigley Mansion should absolutely be on your list. Five stars!

I was genuinely impressed by this restaurant. Perched on a hill, it offers beautiful views of the skyline, including Phoenix and the surrounding cities, making the setting feel truly special. The building itself is historic and remarkably well preserved, adding even more character to the experience. The food matched the atmosphere in quality—the crispy mole salad was a surprising standout, bringing together flavors and textures I wasn’t expecting. For the main course, the steak was excellent and cooked perfectly. If you’re looking for a memorable dinner in a unique setting, this is definitely a place I would recommend for a special evening.

Came here for a double date and we all got different items so we got to taste a big selection of the menu. LOVED the appetizers and entrees (I will say I don’t think the sides were on par). The atmosphere was incredible – it felt so vast, historic, intimate, and iconic to dine here. After the meal we all walked around the property and toured the rooms. Everything was staged so beautifully. My only criticism is, for a dining experience and price tag of this caliber, I expected the staff to be more professional – we came as two different couple and had our plates separated but they cross combined some of our leftovers together and we had to fix it ourselves, they didn’t always refill the water quick enough, dropped dirty utensils as they cleared the table. To clarify, the service wasn’t bad, but not at the high standards I expected for this restaurant.

My husband and I have been to many beautiful elegant restaurants around the country. This place is stunning and delicious! The ambiance is romantic and exquisite! We will definitely be coming back! We loved the real lit 1900’s candle sticks and the fireplace’s through out!

Finally visited the Wrigley Mansion and it absolutely lived up to the experience. The setting feels like stepping into another era — historic architecture, sweeping staircases, warm fireplaces, vintage artwork, and breathtaking city 🌃 views overlooking Phoenix at night. I sat outside on the patio for a light bite and a mocktail 🍹 while watching the skyline and desert lights come alive after sunset. The atmosphere felt elegant, romantic, and surprisingly relaxing without being overly formal. Even walking through the mansion itself feels special. The details, lighting, piano, intimate dining rooms, and beautifully preserved interiors create such a timeless experience. Definitely one of the most unique spots in Phoenix for a special evening, cocktails, dinner, or simply taking in the view. ✨

This was the most amazing dining experience I have ever had! All of the employees were extremely friendly, timely and knowledgeable. Chef Peter greeted me at my table personally which was very kind of him and a pleasant surprise. The food couldn’t have been better and I wish I could revisit every night!

Great stay as always. Normally receptionists don’t make much of a difference in my stays, but Angel and Paris at the front desk were SO kind, welcoming, and proved great conversation and excellent advice re: our stay in Phoenix. Always love staying at the Westin and Phoenix is definitely one of the better examples.

Our experience at The Westin Phoenix Downtown was amazing. The restaurant, Jacy and Dakota’s, was so good. The ambiance at the pool was great and the hotel is located in a great spot as well. As far as the room. it was very clean and spacious. We left the Hilton Resort at the Peak after one day and this hotel was a breath of fresh air. I will recommend staying here over anywhere else. The service, the food, the drinks, the proximity to other places like the park is also a plus! I wish I had pictures to post.

At first I didn’t love the location, but it’s downtown, you’re not going to get some amazing standalone building w/ lots of property. Is what itnis for City. Room however was nice! Bed was relatively comfy. Plenty of pillows. View decent. Elevators worked fine. Highlight for me was the Gym. Very nice. Good equipment. Clean. And Apples 🍎 to boot! Nice 👏

Our family did a Phoenix Staycation at the Downtown Westin for Phoenix Fan Fusion 2026. Our room was immaculate, the service outstanding and the proximity to the Convention Center was so convenient. The weekend was amazing 👏 🤩. Even cooler 😎 Sean Gunn was staying there as well. Definitely recommend the Phoenix Westin and will stay there again for Fan Fusion.

The good first: AC/heater worked really well Bed was very comfy as well as the pillows TV was huge Room was decent in size Room was perfectly clean Staff was very friendly and helpful The elevators were fast but make sure you’re not moving when they start moving. If so, good luck. While the parking is across the street with ACE parking, it’s a very easy process. Just enter the lot, park, check into the hotel, bring your slip to the valet at the hotel, they’ll give you a card you can hang on your mirror that you scan to get in and out of the parking lot. Now the bad: Refrigerators turns off on it’s own. One left over food item was placed in the fridge on my first night stay and the next morning I was going to get a drink from the fridge and realized it stopped cooling and everything was almost room temperature. I had no idea I’d need to press the on button probably at least once every 12 hours. There’s a quick cool button that was broken because people have pressed it so much. Terrible fridge. If you expect to have cold drinks left over night to be enjoyed in the morning, think again. If you don’t completed close the shower curtain on both sides, water will find it’s way out of the shower and onto the floor in the bathroom. I experienced this the first night. Had to waste a full towel on cleaning up the water on the floor. I could not figure out how the water got out and onto the bathroom floor but it did. The next night, no issues but I completely closed shower curtain and I mean from the bottom to the top. There’s no fan in the bathroom so all that hot water has no way to escape the bathroom. You can see moisture on the ceiling after showering. This is out of Marriott’s control but the homeless. If you decide to walk around downtown PHX, you will encounter homeless. You should be scanning all directions at least each block ahead before you head any direction. I had to make multiple quick decisions to cross streets to avoid the homeless. It wasn’t every time but it was most of the time.

Played Raven Golf Club on Saturday and had an awesome experience. The staff was super friendly, everything ran on time, and the course conditions were incredible. It was in great shape and easily one of the best rounds I’ve played in a while. Also wanted to give a huge thank you to Sam in the pro shop. I accidentally left my 4 iron at the course and didn’t realize it until I was already back in Florida. Sam went out of his way to help me find it and get it shipped back to me, which I really appreciated. Great course, great staff, and a first class experience all around. Highly recommend playing here.

I’ve been wanting to play this course for a while now and i finally made it for a birthday round with my friends this month and it did not disappoint. Raven Golf Club is a beautiful desert course with lush fairways, smooth greens, and stunning mountain views. The layout is challenging but fair, the staff is welcoming, and the overall experience feels polished and relaxed. A must-play in the Valley. The clubhouse was delicious for pre drinks & lunch as well.

Visited Raven Golf Club in Phoenix – stunning desert course with lush fairways and challenging layout. Atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, not too busy. Staff were friendly and attentive. The clubhouse had great food, portions were generous for the price. Parking was easy with plenty of space. Only thing – maybe arrive early to secure a better tee time. Definitely a must-play in the Valley!

Phenomenal golf course with a bit of a different feel than the typical desert style golf you see while down in Arizona. We played here recently on the final day of a 4 day golf trip and were not disappointed. The course was beautiful and played well. With it being close to Scottsdale where we stayed, it felt like we didn’t have to drive far to get there and felt like we were playing a high end country club. It was an awesome golf course and super fun to play.

Raven was in phenomenal shape when I played yesterday! The fairways were mostly green and very playable (even soft in spots). The greens were firm and quick, but they all rolled smooth and true (which in my view is just as, if not more important). The superintendent and staff have done a wonderful job keeping the course in top shape during the winter to summer grass transition. The range was also in great shape and provided a great amount of quality hitting surface for pre-round warmup. I would absolutely recommend playing here this summer!

Wonderful hotel – from the second we drove up to the second we left. The bellman that greeted us was kind, patient, and got our luggage to our room along with us. Unfortunately, I can’t recall his names. Matt and Chase were the bellmen that took great care of us when we left. They were efficient and super kind. Now for our hotel room. The hotel smells wonderful the moment you walk in. The desk attendants greeted us with a smile and promptly answered the phone when we called down. The room was spacious and very comfy for working. Room had a fridge. The BED…was soft and cozy and I had a fabulous and restful night’s sleep. The shower was wonderful. This was the last night of my roadtrip and I couldn’t wish for a better way to end it.

Sigh… we didn’t want to leave! We enjoyed our stay so much. The price was more than fair for what they offered. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful – love love love the decor and the smell! The staff were wonderful. When we asked if there was a microwave available to warm up our leftovers, they immediately brought one up. I told them about our safe not working and the water filter on our floor needing to be changed on the floor and they immediately sent someone up to fix it. Complimentary water available in the lobby and on our floor. We enjoyed the complimentary 5-5:30 champagne and churros, the pool, our room with Mountain View (and cheesecake factory – ha!), and the great location – walking distance from so many great restaurants and shops. Overall I am so happy we chose the camby. i stayed at another hotel while i was in arizona and we kept saying TAKE US BACK TO THE CAMBY. Highly recommend.

Frequently asked questions about wedding venues in Phoenix

How much do wedding venues and halls cost?

The cost of a wedding venue varies significantly based on the location, capacity, and level of amenities provided. In the Phoenix area, prices depend on factors such as the date of the wedding, the duration of the event, and whether the fee includes furniture, catering, or decor. Budgeting for a venue typically involves considering both the base rental fee and any additional service charges or insurance requirements.

How do you choose the best wedding venue?

Choosing a wedding venue involves evaluating your guest count, desired aesthetic, and logistical needs. Couples should consider the accessibility of the location, available parking, and the types of catering or alcohol services allowed on-site. It is helpful to visit multiple sites to assess the layout and ensure the space can accommodate your specific vision for the ceremony and reception.

What are the different types of wedding venues?

Wedding venues come in a wide variety of styles, ranging from indoor halls and rustic barns to outdoor gardens and modern industrial spaces. Each type offers a different atmosphere and set of logistical considerations, such as weather contingencies for outdoor sites or specialized equipment for indoor halls. Selecting the right type depends on your personal style and the specific activities you plan to host during the celebration.

Are wedding venues and packages worth the investment?

Wedding venues and packages are designed to provide a comprehensive infrastructure that simplifies the planning process and ensures a cohesive experience. While the upfront cost may seem high, these packages often include essential items like tables, chairs, lighting, and staff that would be expensive to source individually. Evaluating the value depends on comparing the included services against your specific needs and the overall quality of the experience provided.
