This place is great!! My dog is almost 18 years old and she has never liked getting her nails done. I took my dog to Art of pet grooming as a walk in, and they helped us right away. I was lucky enough to be helped by Patti, she did great job. She was very patient and kind. It’s by far the best my dog has ever been when having her nails cut. I will be back for my next service. They also have excellent pricing.

First time here. The groomer explained what they could and couldn’t do since our dogs had some matted fur. Staff were professional and informative.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They were patient with my little pups, and it gave me peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. They came home looking adorable, smelling fresh and you could tell they had been well cared for. The quality of the grooming was worth every penny💕

Bad experience. Please do not take your dogs here. Look at how they gave me my dog back. His eye was bloody and very red. I called my vet, and they told me it could have been caused by someone being too aggressive with him or from extreme stress. My dog is a 15-lb Shih Tzu and he is very calm. I don’t understand why anyone would need to be aggressive with him. It took me a long time to write this review because at first I thought maybe it was normal after grooming. But after meeting other dog parents at the dog park, they started talking about this same grooming place and said they also had bad experiences. They told me they wished they had seen reviews like this before taking their precious dogs there, so I’m sharing my experience in hopes that it helps other pet owners be aware.

This is the only place I don’t have anxiety taking my pup to get groomed. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My girl Luna loves the attention she gets! Plus side it’s easy to make an appointment online and upload all documents needed. I’ve been coming here for 6 years and I will never not bring my dog. You guys are the best!!

I called The Hairy Dog with a few questions, and they were more than helpful. They went above and beyond to answer everything thoroughly and make sure I had all the information I needed. Their customer service is a solid 10/10. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly polite, friendly, and genuinely kind. It’s so refreshing to interact with a business that takes the time to make you feel heard instead of rushing you off the phone. I highly recommend them based on the outstanding customer service alone!

Hairy Dog always goes above and beyond for my pup! We recently took him in prior to our baby shower (we were expecting a girl) and we requested pink bows for him for the shower. They went all out and spent a lot of time making sure he looked good!! He doesn’t love the grooming process and experiences anxiety with it since he was a puppy, but the staff at Hairy Dog treat him so well it puts my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend them for your grooming needs.

First time going to The Hairy Dog and I’m very happy with my experience. They were super friendly and took great care of my pup. He got to play all morning and his coat has never been more soft and shiny. They’re also appropriately priced in my opinion / compared to some of the other local groomers. Will definitely be going back!!

Don’t waste your time with this business. Called them 12 times with no answer to get an appointment. Booked 6 weeks ahead, came in and they asked that I present my dogs rabies vaccine. I had to dig through my email and call the vet, took me 15 minutes to have it sent. They then turned me away because i was late, even though I arrived early and they did not let me know I would need this prior to my appointment. I wasted over an hour of travel time to be treated this way. I wasted my time, don’t waste yours…they don’t care about their customers

We have been going to Bargin Barks with Alison since we moved to the area in 2021. We have three dogs who absolutely love her. They never come back home stressed, they are always ready to go inside her building and come back looking amazing. When we first started with her it only took one explanation of how we like them groomed and since then she has always remembered how to get them looking the best without a worry about it. I personally love the support and convenience she gives us. We are a family that always has to schedule on a weekend and she always makes sure they get us in even 5 years later. She is truly amazing to us and would recommend to anyone who needs grooming help. Thank you Alison for everything and we will hope to use your services for years to come!

Allison takes the best care of my pug, Pig! Plus it’s basically a play date for him; Pig loves hanging with Allison and all of the other pups, as well as getting a freshening-up. Thank you for the great service. 🙂

I have been taking my 85lb husky mix to Allison for 3 years. She is amazing. She truly cares about our Zeus like her own. She is the only groomer he doesn’t pull away from. She always tries to accommodate my last minute appointments. We love her and work she does. Also very affordable!

I have been bringing my dog Lily to Allison and Friends at Bargain Barks for about two years now. Allison and team always does an excellent job with Lily and she is always so happy weeks after her amazing haircuts! Allison offers great pricing for the expert work that she does! Alison and her staff are so kind. We were dog-sitting for our neighbor and wanted to wash her at the last minute, and they took her with very little notice. She came back so cheerful and clean! We will come back with any dog (and hopefully our own one day)! 10/10!!

We took our husky here for her first time grooming and Phaedra did such a great job. Its been a few days and her coat is still shiny and soft.

The groomer for my doodle shaved him away too close and for two weeks he was miserable! It was one of the cutest grooms he’s ever had, but unfortunately, I have to give it two stars because it was a rough two weeks after the groom! My little rescue pup had a decent groom. His leg length is slightly uneven compared to his body. Just to go in detail how my doodle was miserable… He had razor burn over his private areas. He was itchy, continually licked his wounds and was very restless. We used the cone of shame in a onesie in order to protect himself. He was not able to lay still or sit still for two weeks. We cannot take him on a walk as he would want to stop and itch every 2 feet or so. He had red bumps and a rash on his male parts. When I called to express my concern to the groomer, they were sorry to hear that he was having a problem and to let me know if I had to take him to the vet.

I came in for a walk in service for my dog- I understand it was later than expected but at 4:00 and closing at 430 I thought I’d be able to come after work. There was still a dog getting groomed and three people there. I am a loyal customer here but was not greeted and got side eyed coming in. Front desk lady was rude and short. You MUST make an appointment- don’t trust the walk in service unless in the morning or early afternoon. Please put walk in service hours on your website. Seems to change every time I walk in.

My super anxious 5yo standard poodle has had the BEST two haircuts of her life since coming here. The staff is kind and patient and very knowledgeable. Both groomers who have managed her haircut have done a great job, very thorough and took great notes about every detail of her service. Very reasonable pricing, and they took phenomenal care of my baby. So happy to have found them, our new furever groomer!!❤️

Absolutely the best groomers in the valley. Jack was so helpful getting me familiar with the process, and Nicole did just an amazing job my little man who received his first grooming. I cannot recommend their services high enough and 5 stars doesn’t do them justice. Chewie was so at ease he started dozing off during the grooming. 😉

My dog, Charlie, and I love our groomer, Amanda. She does a wonderful and caring job on my puppy. He stays still for her to do her work, and he gets excited when she comes over. I’d recommend Furry Land and, especially, Amanda, for all your grooming needs.

Our experience with Furry Land of Phoenix was great! The entire booking process was easy and the team handling the phones were professional and informative. Our groomer was delayed- wasn’t a big deal, things happen. I appreciated that we were getting communication along the way, so although our appt started a little later….It was worth the wait! Quinn (I hope I’m spelling this right) was very patient with our rescue dog. He was in rough condition with SEVERE matting over his entire body. Seeing him happily jump out of the van was such a special moment. I still can’t believe that this is the same dog! He looks 10lbs lighter, smells amazing, and is the happiest version of himself. We will definitely be using this service again for the convenience, compassion, and results! 10/10

The booking process was via text and very smooth. Our groomer Quinn was communicative and AMAZING with my very nervous, not always friendly Cairn Terrier/Chihuaua. She normally won’t even let me brush her. She had mats and needed shaving, bathing and nails trimmed. She went with Quinn easily and they were done in just under an hour! Quinn said she did great. She looks great too. We already booked with them for a follow up in a few weeks. ☺️ photos are before/after.

I’ve been bringing my senior pup here for about a year. She’s a cross between a muppet and some sort of terrier so her hair can get pretty wild between appointments. They always do such an excellent job with her and take extra care with her ears knowing she’s prone to ear infections. Friendly, talented staff and a great experience all around, would definitely recommend.

I’ve taken my pittie and German Shepherd mix here several times and they are always SO wonderful!! My pittie doesn’t like his paws being touched so his nails are always a challenge but they are so soothing and great with him and trim his nails no problem every time. I couldn’t ask for a better grooming place!!

Wow!!! If i could give them 10 stars, I would! We have a large breed dog who to putbit kindly is difficult. I cannot count the number of grooming places we’ve been asked not to return to. His coat was in poor condition and our normal route is to shave him. It’s been our only option. When we found Gentle Grooming online, I bet my husband that our dog wouldn’t last 30 minutes before he was asked to leave. To my absolute shock, not only did he make it past the 30 minute mark, he came home looking like a brand new dog. Tangles – gone, mats – gone, nails – trimmed, coat – shiny clean. I cannot convey how grateful we are to have found Gentle Grooming. The 45 minute ride was worth every second. We will be repeat customers for sure!

I’ve been going to Gentle Groomer for more than 3 years, and this is the only place I trust my dogs with. All of the staff are super nice, they are very quick and my dogs are not traumatized when they are ready to go home. I very highly recommend Gentle Groomer!

Gentle Groomers are the best. My little girl has really bad anxiety & they are always so kind and gentle with her. Ive moved pretty far from them but will make the drive with no hesitation, I won’t let anyone else groom my Dolce Marie!

The staff go above and beyond to take care of yourself fur baby! My Max has severe anxiety and can’t be kenneled so the owner (her name is escaping my mind at the moment) allows me to bring him in first thing in the morning and she grooms him while I wait. She is very sweet. He’s in and out within 45-50 minutes and always looks exceptional! I highly recommend 🙏

I have been going to bark and bark for Almost 2 years and they do such a phenomenal job every time. They are so sweet and you can tell they really love the animals. Their work is consistent and we have never had any issues. 10/10 recommend!

I was turned down by two other groomers because my chihuahua was too reactive (totally understandable) so I was truly so discouraged. When I called bark and bark I explained the situation and they said they had experience with these types of dogs before so they would be able to help. OMG they were angels!! They groomed my spicy little boy and were able to deal with the reactivity. I am so so happy that I found them. They are also very communicative as to when the dog is done. I am truly so happy with them and can’t thank them enough. I have another little girl puppy who is also a bit reactive but I am comfortable being able to have somewhere to go that will work with me and my dogs.

This is a hidden gem and we are so happy to have found this amazing place. ❤️ Bark & Bark truly cares for your pet with love and attention. My long-haired terrier, who can be quite anxious, has had a few disappointing experiences with groomers around town. But Bark & Bark is different, I always leave with a happy and well-groomed pup!

Happy with the service I got, the grooming is very neat, a little short but still looks good. We have a multipoo so hopped that the face can cut a little bit more rounded next time. Will come back again for grooming.

Great kind service they speak English and Spanish. They left my Fur baby so cute and fluffy and they follow our instructions on how we want him to look. We love it here. They treat Milo very good and leave him looking very handsome.

Referred by my bestie to take my girl to have her nails trimmed today and I am so very grateful I did! Missy’s place is small and quaint and surprisingly quiet with exception to her baby yelping from his crate,! Lol Mick (forgive me if its Nick?) So my point is this shes been needing a proper trim ha Missy used a dremel and had her nails done in about 10 mins with no outbursts and fits because someone was touching her feet!! Lol.. I can also tell from her return clients that she is a great groomer too!! Thank you so much Missy n Mick!! Her nails look amazing!

I was referred here by a few friends of mine. I have a rather large Samoan and husky rescue. I am so happy that I took him here. He does not like water at all, he’s also terrified of cages. They took wonderful care of my boy. So good in fact that when I went to pick him up, he wanted to go back in when we left! He felt so much love there, and I could see it on him. He was so happy and more than that! He was clean like he never been washed before. I got to meet Missy, who was very welcoming and very nice and Nick at the front desk was great. They have a lifelong customers of me and Bear now. 💞💞

I love this place! They do such a good job with my husky. I have taken him to other groomers for a “deshedding” and he often comes back with so much fur falling out. However Missy Shed n Clean always desheds him so well!! He comes back so clean and handsome. The staff is super friendly too and I love the cute little seasonal bandanas they always put on the pups.

Found this place on Google and based on the ratings we decided to try them. Our 7 month old mini schnauzer Rocket got his 2nd grooming ever and he came out looking great. The front desk employee and the groomer Victoria were all very friendly and they seem to love dogs. The place itself is clean, and as soon as you walk in you can see the groomers doing their work behind the front desk, which is nice as it shows transparency. They explained how they would take their time so as not to stress out our dog and would call us about 15 minutes before they finished so we could go pick him up. Rocket was very calm when we picked him up, and the prices are very reasonable. I think we have found our new pet groomers in Missy Shed N Clean.

I cannot say enough about Missy’S Grooming. My Zoey was a mess and hadn’t been groomed for several months. I have in years had a groomer make her look so awesome and her paws are cut like a wheaten shoulder be. This is the only place my furbaby is going from now on. Love this.

We’ve come and had our cat groomed three times now, and every time has been a great experience. The groomers handle our cat with so much care and attention, and I really appreciate the team treating our cat like a client. We will continue to take Miss Patches here for her big summer shaves. They did a great job of making my nervous cat comfortable and accommodating his needs. They were quick and did a super good job! He looks great and no more cat hair everywhere! I felt they actually cared and it was a fair price. Also did great with covid related concerns-locked door for one customer at a time, masks, cleaned off counter/doors etc. highly recommend and I will be coming back 🙂

Because Sherry’s Pampered Pets was less expensive we decided to take our Aussie Doodle there. We take her every 4-5 weeks. After she had been groomed there three time she refused to go in at her next appt. We took her back to our original groomer and she had some concerns she shared. Our origin groomers concerns were that her hygiene area had not been cleaned and was matted. The inside of her ears were a mess and she had mats between her paws. I’m so glad our pup alerted us that something wasn’t right.

If there was more than 5 stars I would give them. Have 2 small dogs, one is a rescue and nervous about everything. He was calm when I picked him up and looked great. His ears an neck are usually traumatic for him. Best he has ever looked.

Wow they are so friendly here! We rescued a German Shepherd earlier this week and she really needed a good groom. We are new to the area and always love to support local groomers. So glad I found this place! Wonderful pricing as well. They took great care of our sweet Willow and we will definitely be returning! 😊 Update: we brought our other dog, Kai, this time. They did such an amazing job with them! So fresh and clean and soft! 😍 10/10 recommend.

I’ve taken my dog here to get groomed on two occasions and used their overnight boarding services as well. I like the prices and groomers. I also love the fact they they have the dogs out instead of all locked up in a cage for hours on end. My dog comes home happy.

My little dog has a lot of hair — I mean A LOT of hair — and I don’t do a great job of taking care of it myself. That’s why I love Michelle and all of her team at Sherry’s Pampered Pets. The service is always outstanding, and they make my dog look, smell, and feel beautiful. The best part is that they treat my dog with such love and care. I feel totally comfortable leaving my little furry family member in there hands.

I love Sherry’s! It is a sweetly decorated space that is very welcoming and cute. They always decorate and normally have a set up for holiday pictures. They offer affordable prices and they have cute add-ons like nail polish and scents. They pay such close attention to requests. I have a schnauzer but I don’t like the Schnauzer buzzed look. I asked a specific style and they leave her looking precious! Super recommend!
