SimonMed Imaging - Phoenix 19th Ave

This is what a customer sees upon entry. No sign of a person just the backs of two computer screens. Could that be any more unwelcoming!?!!! I didn’t see anyone. The lights were dim and I thought they were closed. Then I heard a small voice ask if she could help me. I had to look to see where it came from-oh! Hiding behind the computers. Joe was the tech and he was good. Not connected to this office but -The appointment setting was a complete disaster. You all called me 4 times to reschedule an appointment then after about 20 minutes of questioning discover that I needed to speak to a particular scheduler who you were unable to name or connect me with. You need to work on your customer service and processes. I avoid using SimonMed but was referred her by my doctor.

Unprofessional, I’ve been waiting for this appointment because the VA doesn’t have availability. They waited until I got to the location, as I was checking in, told me the MRI machine was broken. No call, no text, no email or anything. I was told the manager said she called me but I have no missed calls. The next available appointment is weeks away or go to another location somewhere else in the valley. This really sucks and the fact that it doesn’t impact them shows in their lack of care or concern. Receptions personal cell phone conversation continued as soon as I took my printout. Don’t come here, you may want to consider another company for your imaging needs in the future.

The staff is pleasant, efficient and welcoming. The imaging technician was thorough, experienced and considerate completing my tests in a third of the time the appt called for. He explained everything he was doing as he did it, asked if I had questions and made sure I was comfortable. As these tests were for a recent cancer scare, I was very anxious going into appt and came out believing I was very well taken care of.

The wait was very long. I had an appointment and they were an hour and a half behind. The chairs in the waiting room were very uncomfortable. The reception area staff were matter of fact. The MRI staff were performing their job, matter of fact. Not rude but not friendly either.

Lady at front desk was awesome. Very Very Very friendly and tech was fast and very personable. I loved the whole experience. I’ll definitely be going back! Thank you

This was the worst experience. I had an appointment made for 2:00. I arrived early to fill out paperwork. I was not seen for over an hour! Why make appointments if you are going to have people wait so long. Not to mention the front desk attendant was the surliest person. There was a patient who threw up in the waiting room and the desk worker did nothing and refused to do any cleanup. It was disgusting to sit with that. I hope I never have to return to this location

Walked in for xray. Got there shortly after opened & they got me in & taken care of quickly. Not sure how xrays take 4 days for results, when they are digital images these days, so had to reschedule my foot doc appt. Staff was nice & helpful
