Update: Ron reached out and offered to have us come back in to try different shoes. We declined but up the review stars for the quick response and willingness to help if needed. I’m new to running and came in looking for guidance on choosing the right shoes for both myself and my husband. The visit itself was pleasant, and the staff member was friendly, but after leaving, I felt more like I had been sold to than actually helped. I was initially brought a more expensive, highly cushioned pair of shoes, which were comfortable. When I asked to see other options, I was shown a cross-training shoe rather than different running shoe brands or styles. I was expecting to compare multiple options—such as Brooks, HOKA, or other well-known running brands—but that opportunity wasn’t really provided. It felt like the selection was limited and possibly biased toward a specific brand. What stood out most was that my husband and I, despite having very different gait and walking patterns, were both recommended and sold basically the same shoe. That raised concerns for me, as I expected a more personalized fitting experience. Overall, while the service was polite, I left feeling unsure whether the recommendations were truly based on our individual needs or more focused on making a sale
I came in after months of running with severe tendinitis and decided I’d see if this place could offer me a solution and all I can say is they offered that and more. I was able to try on multiple shoes to get an idea of what was best suited to my foot and after five pairs, I found the one for me. It may be anecdotal but I ran on 5/20/26 and had to quit after 2.5 mi due to tendinitis and on 5/22/26 and 5/23/26 I was able to run 4mi with little to no tendinitis both days in a row! TLDR: This place really cares about what you need to enjoy running and I highly recommend it!
I am stepping into running more consistently and wanted to get a pair of shoes geared toward that. Steven was an amazing help and very patient with me, as I know nothing about running shoes. He showed me several options that would work for me and helped me get into a pair that I love. Great and friendly service.
I needed a new pair of shoes because the ones I had were not good for my over pronation. Lauren took the time to listen to my concerns and brought out six pairs of shoes. With each shoe, she explained the support features. I bought a pair of Brooks and my feet are very happy with them.
Overall a good experience. Personalized service while choosing your new running shoes. My only complaint would be the gait analysis and explanation of what's occuring with your body from feet to hips was not as thorough as I would have liked.
My first time visiting the store and I came in specifically looking for walking shoes. The sales associate, Chian, was helpful and pulled a lot of different options in my size (womens 10 wide). There were a pair of shoes I really liked because of the colorway, but Chian provided some good info/feedback on how those wouldn't be the best for walking. Comfort > Fashion. I walked out with a pair of Hoka Clifton 10s and Altra Experience Wilds. Each had a different feel, but both were super comfortable. Would definitely visit this store again next time I'm in PHX!
Best shoe buying experience I’ve ever had. Brandy was really helpful, great recommendations, amazing service. I will be spending money here.
