The best sushi and fish I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was so fresh and tender and delicious. Beyond delicious. Not to mention every little thing taste good like they put stuff on top of the fish that had so much flavor and the spicy mayo had actually spices in it it has a nice kick and such amazing flavor. The miso soup was so good and hot and fresh the green onion was so crunch and flavorful. The staff is so friendly and will answer any question you have. I can’t wait to eat here again I had lunch specials and it was a great price. I had sushi twice in a different state and it can not compare. 1000% recommend.
The food was amazing, seriously so good. The sushi tasted very fresh and high quality, and everything we ordered was delicious. The portions were smaller, but that’s kind of expected for a fancy restaurant like this. The only frustrating part was that there were empty seats available that were not reserved, but we still had to wait around 15 minutes before being seated. Other than that, the overall experience was great. The food was definitely worth trying, although it is on the expensive side.
Been on the hunt for a good sushi place and I’m happy to have found it. Really good quality fish and well prepared. Specialty rolls were very tasty and the toro sashimi was immaculate. Hate to say the phrase but it really did melt in my mouth. Love the purple rice on rolls! Also very thin layer of rice. Huge piece of hamachi kama soaked in this buttery sauce. Truly enjoyed everything we ate and will be coming back again.
The food & service at Harumi is next level. We went on a Tuesday afternoon, before a concert downtown. Robin was a PHENOMENAL server & we enjoyed his suggestions and humor. The atmosphere is upscale without being pretentious. We will be going back soon. Don't miss the Japanese A5 Wagyu! Ok, here's the thing: IF you're looking for a parking garage, there's one a block & a half away at Monroe & 3rd. Street parking is limited & you'll have to remember to feed the meter.
I had the lemon salmon roll and it was delicious with a robust lemon kick. Staff was terrific. However, the complaint is also a big pet peeve: all the plastic plants all over the restaurant. Plastic plants are always tacky. Trade them in for some art pieces or put some real plants in there. To me, a place decorated with plastic plants says "I can't be bothered"
Fantastic from the moment of walking through the doors! Cool vibe from the venue... the staff was friendly without being too friendly (you know) and we knew we were in for a treat. Noah was our initial server and he made some great menu suggestions. We enjoyed our drinks - very creative and well balanced. A sochu spritz and...a natural that had a malt...argh.. can't remember the test but it was great. The sushi was delicious. Fresh and well imagined rolls and sashimi. Extra points for the OMG roll. Bonus points as well for the non traditional rice. Honestly - and I don't say this often for a sushi restaurant - I can't wait to return and try more of the menu. I wish we lived closer. Note: we for really lucky with a great parking spot just steps from the entrance. But in the evening I can only imagine how challenging it could be to find parking nearby.
This place has changed so much over the last 10 years! I remember the first time I went, it was like a to-go place, with their purple rice sushi rolls packaged for grab-and-go. The dining room was basic—a great, no-frills sushi place. Wow, did this spot clean up! Same tasty sushi, with a new posh, luxe atmosphere. The pricing isn’t too bad, tho; however, it would be easy to rack up the bar tab with all their creative, delicious cocktails. The matcha martini wasn’t sweet; it was earthy and nutty. It had a beautiful foamy texture. We got a plethora of rolls and enjoyed them all. We got the combo of 3 half rolls, a great deal! Their service was efficient and kind. I’ll come back soon!
