Texaz Grill

Went for NYE 2025 at 6:00 p.m. Called ahead for reservations for 12 asking if they would have prime rib as had read they run out. The cook and bartender, Peter, offered to buy an extra to accomodate our party. How is that for over the top service?! We said no, as we didn't know how many in our party would order it. When we placed our order they were completely sold out of prime rib. Disappointed but ordered everything else on the menu, chicken fried steak, salad, fried okra, smoked bisket sandwich, fried cat fish, chili. We had a good variety with 12 people. EVERYONE loved what they had! Delish! Our waitress, Cheri, kept us all well attended to with glasses filled with drinks, extra gooey, soft, warm biscuts, fullfilling our every request. Food came out fast. Oh, and enough food for many to take home! THANK YOU, TexAz Grill for the perfect NYE! Happy 2026!

This restaurant is one of me & my boyfriend's favorite spot to go. The country fried steak meal was enough for 2 people and we went with french fries and homemade mashed potatoes and gravy as sides. Excellent choices! The fries were nice and hot and crispy! And I loved the homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. We went with the bread pudding as dessert which we also shared. Everything was delicious and service was great too ! You also get a few biscuits with your meal. Yum ! We will come back for sure ! 😋💖🍴

Oh, it has to be the worst food experience. I have ever had period two people. Fifty dollar lunch. What they're famous for was what we got. It was the worst disgusting soggy saltless meal. I think i've ever had in front of .me. We didn't even eat a quarter of it. The waitress walked around and ate at the bar. She didn't do her job. The bartender was doing it for her.. Every time someone around us ordered the same thing I wanted to scream, run! The water and the sweet tea smelled and tasted like mildew...never again! Disappointed isn't the word. We both were so sick for two days!;

Wow been coming here for years . I paid good money for my chicken fried steak at 25.00 I was eating mouth full of batter took it apart and found this lil tiny peac of meat . I feel robbed I really did like this place . My brother had chicken fried chicken sadly it was a tiny piece of chicken as well . I guess its why they drown it in gravy 🤷 🤣 So disappointed 😞 😕

This place is a great home away from home for us Texans. The atmosphere is pure Texas and the food is great. If you are ever there I recommend the chicken fried steak as the go to choice. And if you drink beer, Shiner Bock of course.
