I finally decided to try Chick-fil-A after they sent me a coupon for a free sandwich or chicken nuggets. I decided to go inside because the drive-thru looked too busy. I chose the chicken sandwich, got it to go, but decided to eat it there. The first official Chick-fil-A location opened in 1967 in an Atlanta shopping mall, leading to the chain's expansion and reputation for quality service and its signature Sunday closure. And I have to admit, everyone I encountered was so friendly. The chicken sandwich was simple, topped with mayo and pickles, but the chicken filet was so tender and juicy, much better than I expected. So the chicken hype is real; Chick-fil-A is really good. I see why it's so busy.
Alright so here’s the thing. It’s Arizona and it gets hot. 100 deg hot. When you have drivers to pick up orders standing in the heat for over 15 mins it’s going to bother me and I’m not even picking up. The line is atrocious inside, it’s long, with only 2 people ring folks up, there is no drink station so you have to bother the people ringing up to even get a refill. So you treat inside customers like children and people picking up like plebs? The drive thru is obviously the priority. Waiting over 15 mins for my food and saw the drive thru get pumped thru. What a bad restaurant, says volumes about your leadership and owners when they treat people so damn poorly. "My pleasure"? More like It’s "my pleasure" to treat folks like garbage and act nice about it.
Today was my first time at this location. Consistently across all chick fil as it seems as though mobile ordering is a bottom priority. Every time I mobile order, I am taken care of last. I work in healthcare, and I place a mobile order so I can grab my food and go quickly. That’s why I thought it existed. I waited at the pick up counter and there was only one worker taking a line of customers orders. However, there was another girl yapping on the phone and smiling and even making direct eye contact with me, clearly showing she doesn’t care. Even if she happened to be on break, acting that way in front of customers who are clearly waiting and agitated about the wait is unprofessional. As someone who had worked in fast food for 6 years, there is no excuse.
Me and my brother John went to Chick-fil-a back in January for lunch. We both ordered the chicken sandwich with curly fries. It was hot and delicious. The lady taking our order was friendly And efficient. We got our favorite sauces for the sandwich. A Great place to go!
I’m from the east coast and Chick-fil-A is known for speed in the drive through. This location has an incredible 3 lines for drive through but they consolidate down to one. I had placed a mobile order for drive through and it took 30-35 minutes to get through to get it. Once you’re in the line there’s no way to get out so you’re essentially stuck until you make it through. The food was good and the drinks were great. The drive through is where things were less than stellar.
the food is good. Chicken is tasty. I like ordering a piece of breakfast fillet by itself. I love the macaroni and cheese. I hate that the three lanes turn into one lane for the drive-thru. Gives me anxiety.
**From a delivery driver**I am writing to share my disappointment with my recent visit to the restaurant. The service was slower than anticipated, and it was difficult to get the attention of the crew. You wait outside on the heat and the wait is incredibly ridiculous. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and take steps to improve the overall experience for your customers.
