Rips Bar

I like this bar. Great drink prices, really fun art and games , stage for bands, overall super cool! However the service wasn't good at all. The bartender was an older lady with tattoos. I don't know if she's bipolar or what, but sometimes she was in a great mood and nice then suddenly she was like upset? Started making our drinks really weak on purpose.... We were very nice and friendly so I found this behavior very odd. Often times she was over there hanging out and laughing it up with other people and not attending any of the customers waiting for drinks. Also she made a rude comment that was uncalled for, but I didn't want to make a big deal so we left. I will come back here and hopefully there is another bartender that will provide better service cus the bar itself was pretty rad. We will see.

I’ve been going to Rios bar for YEARS for punk rock bands and goth night boot stomping. It’s a classic neighborhood bar / dive bar with a great staff, good local brews and drinks, all the standards and a cool atmosphere. The patio is chill and breeds great convo.

When I used to live in Japan, my absolutetely favorite thing to do was to go out for karaoke. So, I was really happy when I saw they offer karaoke at Rips Bar. I have no shame and will sing to my heart's content on that stage. Its a great vibe. They also have friendly staff. I recommend this local dive!

Went here recently after a friend invited us out for drinks. We stumbled into a live band night which we weren't expecting! The atmosphere is really cool and I loved the wall art—it's a nice touch that some of it is actually for sale. Just a heads up: if you’re looking for a quiet place to catch up and chat, this might not be the best spot when the music is playing, as it gets pretty loud. Great vibe, but definitely more of a music venue than a quiet lounge on band nights

My experience with Rips bar was top tier! i went in alone not really knowing anybody there i just wanted to grab a drink and you know chill and vibe so that i can rest. moderate noise its bearable and the music was baddasss then i really like how the staff is friendly and nice asking if everything is okay and asking if i needed more drink
