It was my first visit, and I had an excellent experience with Dr. Héctor Rodríguez Luna.
So I just called the office and spoke to a lady named Abigail. She is so unprofessional. I’m trying to make an appointment for my wife. She’s telling me that I need to stick with a doctor that I was with which I tried to explain to her over and over that I was not with a doctor. I work for a doctors offers over 15 years. This is unacceptable. You need people in your office. that knows what they’re doing and then she kept me on hold for 15 minutes like she was trying to make an appointment for me. All she wanted me to do was hang up and this is how you run your office. You guys need me to be reported.
Dr. Rodriguez Luna had a first visit with me over the phone and I could not have been more satisfied with the amount of depth, intelligent questioning, compassion and understanding he showed. He covered a lot of ground and I never felt rushed or not listened to. He gave me a comprehensive treatment plan with options that were different enough from what’s always been done (without much success) and I felt very comfortable with his approach. Highly recommend him!
Worst place ever! I have been rescheduled so many times and was diagnosed with stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver. It’s been 2 months and haven’t been able to even see or speak to my doctor. I am going to be reporting them. This is my LIFE and they don’t care. Office staff is rude and when they make a scheduling mistake they refuse to make it right. I had an appointment today which was previously rescheduled because they made an error (supposedly) and had to wait an additional 3 weeks for my appointment. I called their office countless times to see why my doctor didn’t call, and the lady said " Oh, it looks like they canceled it because she’s not in on Thursdays" and of course, my thoughts are canceled it. Why would you cancel it and not call me to reschedule this is bull crap do not come to this facility if You are struggling to survive they will kill you faster than your disease will !!!
Two people recommended Dr. Rodriguez-Luna to me and I am so glad they did. His office was very helpful in setting up my appointment and going over the background questionnaire with me. This was my first appointment with Dr. Rodriguez. He explained how he will perform my procedures in view of my medical history which put my mind at ease. He also told me that he and his staff follow strict protocols to prevent exposure to Covid which is a big concern of mine and a huge relief to know that he shares my concern. Dr. Rodriguez is very personable and friendly, spending a lot of time answering my questions. To repeat, I am pleased that Dr. Rodriguez was first recommended to me by my daughter and also by my PCP.
Not being able to see him in person can be difficult when you feel like you need to be checked out and not just have a video call, but it’s having to deal with this staff that makes it unbearable. Wait for appointment for several months, day before or day of appointment they call to cancel, they don’t care if they’ve already canceled on you before and you’ve already had to wait over 8 months in order to see the doctor, they make you wait another 4 while you hope and pray they don’t cancel again, knowing they won’t bother giving you any notice and wait until the last minute to inform you they need to cancel. Even though you might call in advance to schedule a colonoscopy that will be coming due, your colonoscopy could wind up being performed significantly late because of how they handle things in this office. These sorts of things are very common place here, and these sorts of things happen again and again. Staff is so lacking in communication skills, they can be unbearable to deal with. Horrible listeners, small people on power trips, all the dysfunctional stuff people try to avoid in life just can’t be avoided when dealing with this staff unfortunately. He’s a good doctor, but his staff makes it too difficult to remain his patient. I had hoped things would get better but they just keep getting worse.
Dr. Rodríguez is an awesome physician very helpful. Takes the time to really find out what's wrong with us. Yes he might be running late a bit but that is the reason, because he takes his time with his patients, to really find out what is wrong with them and doesn't Rush that's very important to us. He is thorough and caring I recommend him but if you are a person with patience he is well worth it 🙂
