Let me start by stating the reviews initially worried me, but they couldn’t be less accurate or helpful. I work in the healthcare industry so I’m familiar with how treatment, good treatment, should be administered. My first impressions were with front desk staff. They were thorough, funny, welcoming, and efficient. Meaning, they didn’t spend any unnecessary time going over anything other than what they were supposed to. Next was the medical assistant. Again, warm, thorough and intelligent. I wish I would have gotten her name because she deserves recognition. Lastly, my doctor. The fates aligned so that I could be seen by this doctor as he’s not been with the practice long. I was diagnosed in September and apparently he started at this time. Dr. Chan Ho is one of the most knowledgeable, clever, warm hearted physicians you will encounter. Moreover, he ordered additional and necessary tests to rule out any possible issues causing my symptoms. I am unbelievably grateful to have found this practice and to have found Dr. Ho. I would recommend him many times over.

I just saw Dr Chen earlier today for my first time I felt very taken care of and he also took the time and answered all my questions I look forward to working with him also I need to say the staff was just very welcoming and it was very pleasant experience

This journey began with my primary care physician, Elle Ross, DO, PhD, who took my concerns seriously and made a thoughtful referral. That decision ultimately led me to Joan Bailey, MD, FACP, FEAA, and I cannot express enough appreciation for her expertise and calm, attentive approach. Over time, with careful evaluation, monitoring, and encouragement, I gained clarity, confidence, and a much deeper understanding of my health. What mattered most to me was not just treatment, but being heard, respected, and supported as a whole person. That is exactly what I experienced. This year, after a long process of gathering data, making lifestyle changes, and working closely with my doctors, I reached a place of real reassurance and peace. Going into Christmas feeling healthy, informed, and hopeful is something I don’t take lightly. It feels like a gift that goes far beyond medicine. I truly feel a sense of lifelong gratitude—not just for the clinical care, but for the joy, relief, and renewed confidence in life that came from it. I have been going to this office for many, many years. Dr Bailey and the staff here have always been great. Dr Baily always takes time to answers my questions. The front office staff is always kind, greats me, are all efficient, and on time. When I get my labs in the office they are always available, timely and great at what they do. Midtown Endocrine Associates, thanks for giving great patient care!

In summary: quick responses, flexible availability, appointments within reasonable time, great providers. JUST DO IT, THEY ARE AMAZING This place is BEYOND AMAZING. At first, I was hesitant since I saw it had poor ratings but I also noticed most of those ratings were from YEARS ago. I can confidently say they are no where near that anymore. I have been struggling to find an endocrinologist for years since no one would call back or they would provide poor services, not the case for this office. My office sent the paperwork/referral around thanksgiving time and they called me within less than a week to schedule my appointment. My initial appointment was scheduled about 2 weeks out from that phone call. I was shocked at how quick they were, especially during the holidays! When I went to my appointment I was taken in right at my appointment time. Dr. Chan Ho Shin is so wonderful. He listened to all of my concerns, asked questions, explained things, and took things seriously. In my first appointment he acknowledged that there was a problem and that we would start tackling it now, rather than pulling the whole "oh we need to do more testing before doing anything, oh you need to track this or that". Nope, he immediately hopped on it and has kept a close eye on me and my concerns. I also like that they take you in within a reasonable time when you do walk ins for bloodwork. 10/10 would recommend!
