Got Memories - By Appointment

Got Memories and Phil Thomas are great! My video content on 64 tapes was turned around inside of a week, and the original tapes were sent back to me for safe storage. Got Memories produces invaluable digital video conversions when others can’t, or don’t want to be bothered. My experience was superb, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Got Memories, or Phil Thomas for preservation of valuable memories for anyone interested in a timeless preservation!

Phil is the best! Despite my not having back-ups of some aging and damaged Hi-8 tapes (about 20 of them from the early 2000s!), Phil put my mind at ease and worked his magic to digitize my priceless family videos. The process was thorough and thoughtful, not to mention surprisingly quick, and Phil adds a personal touch by really getting to know his customers. I couldn't recommend this business more, and I absolutely suggest working with Got Memories rather than taking a serious risk working with one of the high-volume shops that won't even contemplate challenging, tedious transfers involving aging or damaged tapes ... those require and experienced, special touch. Fantastic results and right first time with Got Memories. Even the cataloguing was thoughtful, and it was great to have separate clips rather than one massive mp4 video. Thank you, Phil. I spent a lot of time trying to digitize my family’s 8mm film collection, but wasn’t happy with the results. I contacted Phil after finding his Got Memories channel on YouTube because I could see a drastic difference between his results and mine. Phil was responsive to my questions, and patient when I took a while to answer. My wife and I were able to track our films as they shipped and Phil let me know when he had them. Great experience. I had 7 tapes I was unable to copy myself. I spoke to Phil and he immediately put mind at ease. I sent the tapes and he was able to copy them same day and had them ready to be shipped back immediately. Great service, great communication, worth every penny. Don’t waste time and money with others. These guys check their work before they send them back. No one else does that. I would love to give more stars. Highly recommend.
