UEI College - Phoenix

Graduated back in 2024. Mr.Allen was a great instructor in my exciting career change in the electrical field. Very helpful and his past experience in the field was informative. I learned a lot even to this day I’m still continually learning a lot in the Electrical field.

Do not go to this school!!!! I went to this school and attended the MA program. My instructor Ms. Spikes is really great. On top of paying so much toward your tuition you do not get certified and the school is not accredited at most companies when applying to jobs. I would recommend doing your research and go eles where like carrington college or gateway community college.

I am very disappointed with the lack of communication from this college. I have been trying to contact someone in the Education Department for nearly 3 weeks and have had no success reaching anyone. I have called numerous times, left multiple voicemails, and never received a return call. I have also been trying to obtain my diploma, but the person responsible has not answered her phone or returned any of my messages. It is extremely frustrating, especially because I live two hours away and cannot simply stop by whenever I need assistance. On the occasions I have made the trip, the people I needed to speak with were not there. Students and graduates deserve better communication and follow-up. Answering phone calls and returning messages in a timely manner is a basic expectation. I hope the college improves its customer service and responsiveness so others do not have to experience the same frustration.

I am a graduate from UEI ands still no employment in my field. I enrolled in medical billing and coding. I wish I never enrolled. I wouldn’t recommend this school to no one. There was lack of communication across the board. Our instructor was let go midway through the course. After that I didn’t really learn anything. Job placement is a joke, I think I was one of the last two people to be placed and they asked if I would agree to help them close their quota by saying, "yes to getting help being placed." But I didn’t get placed with a job in the field I went to school for. That was a waste of money and time I can’t get back. They only teach you the basic not what’s really going on out in the field and I heard that from an interviewer. So sad! As I digress, I wouldn’t recommend any students to go there.

Cole has been the most helpful person, he helped me get a job as soon as I graduated. I did drag a little bit but he’s the main reason why I got a job. I truly recommend for him to be the choice of promotion or to be advanced in any way.
