Dennis was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. He helped me decide to put solar in and I’d highly recommend using him and Harmon Solar. Great pricing too!
Outstanding customer service. Panels were up and running in 9 weeks. Bird block was added yesterday. Total for completion was 13 weeks. Thank you Breana for being my rep and answering questions quickly and thoroughly.
Ryker has been absolutely amazing, he has helped us design out complete off-grid solar set up. As of today we have everything to run our homestead 100% solar!
Spoke with Dennis Alessandro, he gave an astronomically high bid, which is completely unethically priced for a job. 60k for 15 kw system with 2 batteries is abhorrent. I hope people search him and don’t get taken advantage of. When I respectfully discussed this with him he became nasty, condescending, and disrespectful, saying he had been doing this 16 years etc. Buyer beware!!!! Continued following response on 7/12/2026: This response from Harmon Solar is exactly why I left my review in the first place. After hearing that I had a bad experience with one of their representatives, their first move was not to call me, understand what happened, or try to make things right. Instead, they immediately came here to defend themselves and argue with a customer. The issue was never simply that I declined a quote. I was presented with a roughly $60,000 proposal for a ~15 kW system with Tesla battery storage, which I found dramatically overpriced compared to other options I was reviewing. A customer spending that kind of money has every right to ask questions and compare alternatives. The biggest problem was the attitude I received when I did exactly that. Once it became clear I was not going to accept the proposal, the conversation turned dismissive and condescending. That is not how a company should treat someone who is making a major financial decision. Their response spends a lot of time defending the salesperson and the price, but says nothing about the way the customer was treated. That tells me everything I need to know. Anyone considering solar should get multiple quotes, do their research, and pay close attention not just to the equipment, but to how the company treats you when you don’t immediately say yes.
9/11/2025 -Update- I just got off the phone with Brad, the Director of Operations. He gave me the opportunity to voice my frustrations about the project and openly acknowledged that mistakes were made. I truly appreciate his honesty, and I understand that errors can happen. What mattered most was that Brad agreed I should have been kept informed throughout the process, so I had clear expectations instead of being left in the dark searching for answers. After my conversation with Brad, I felt reassured. He stood with me, validated my concerns, and worked with me to find a resolution, instead of brushing it off with a "mistakes happen" attitude. This is the reason I chose to go with Harmon in the first place—they’re a local business I wanted to support and from what I got from Brad, they will stand with their customers to make sure everything is done to satisfaction. Can’t beat that. -I really wanted to like this company, but my solar installation has been an absolute nightmare. My panels were installed almost 4 months ago and still haven't been turned on. In the meantime, my power has been shut off twice for over 3 hours while crews worked--yet the project is still incomplete. Communication has been almost nonexistent. My project manager will reply if I email her directly, but otherwise I receive no proactive updates about progress or next steps. When the field crews finish for the day, they just leave without saying a word. I've been left with panels unscrewed, wide open, and conduit scattered around my yard. Most recently, the electrical crew assured me everything would be finished and turned on--but once again, it wasn't, and no explanation was provided. This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I've ever had.
