I went for one thing and left with a car full!! Make sure you set aside at least an hour to truly take time to walk through their outdoor items and amazing selection of items indoors! From metal yard art, clay art, and sculptures to dish sets, wall hanging and so much more! Such a fun place! Great place to take those out of town visitors or find unique gifts!
Loved this place. Huge selection of pottery and metal art. I took home a metal dinosaur and metal flowering caucus as souveniersof our vaation. Wished I picked up another dinosaur. Definitely a place to visit.
The pottery is exposed to the elements 24/7 so the beautiful paint on the pottery is all cracked up. I have pottery of my own that I've brought back that has no cracks because I keep it inside. Also, I found this place to be soooo overpriced, but it saves u having to make the trip to Mexico, so there is that. Most items have no price tag. This business looks real good from the road, but I was sadly disappointed with the quality of items. I was searching for a unique wedding gift.
A fun place to peruse under beautiful open desert skies, for visiting out of towners or locals. Wide variety of items, both indoor and outdoor. Colorful Talavera style pottery, plates and mugs, and planters, as well as terra cotta pots in all sizes, metal art pieces, cow hides, way too much to mention it all. Authentic Arizona is the prevailing theme. Deserae is helpful and knowledgeable in finding pieces you want. She really went out of her way for me today. They've been in business at least 30 years, so that's a solid testimonial in itself. If you like crafted decor with a southwest flavor, visit Southwest Pottery in Mesa, Arizona.
I know I mostly write reviews on hotels and restaurants, however, this place it too cool not to talk about. The name doesn’t do it justice, there’s so much more than just pottery here. Honestly, I think there has to be more metal work than pottery. Huge metal sculptures down to tiny ones and the subject matter anything from ants drinking beer around a table to bulls, buffalo, giraffes, stallions, eagles, scorpions, cacti both rustic and painted bright, to aliens with mustaches holding guns and UFOs. So many cool decorations we would love to take home but that would be difficult since we flew here. We did find something we absolutely had to have so we will have to coordinate that with family to get to us at a later date when they drive back to SD. This place is definitely worth a visit, even if you’re not looking for anything in particular, it’s worth a look and you’ll probably find something you must have!
