Fox Rent A Car Phoenix Airport

Really weird place and I guess that’s why I had never heard of Fox Rent a Car until I needed a car in Phoenix at the airport. Horrible customer service at the counter where I literally had the agent ask me why I needed a full size SUV when she could put me in a midsize. I said I wanted a full size SUV and she said but it’s just you why would you want a big car? Mind you I had already prepaid the rate for the full size SUV. How about it’s none of your business 😂. Then you go downstairs to get in your car and nope! someone has to bring your car to you and you don’t even know when it’s coming or what kind of car they will give you. The little shack is pitiful and the people in it, not nice. Not even trying. It’s been almost 30 minutes and no car. People are all just waiting around The old adage of you get what you pay for certainly applies here. Just no 👎 .

We had a great experience with Fox at the Phoenix airport. We had an issue with our booking (which was completely our fault) and the manager worked hard to find a solution and get us taken care of. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made what was a frustrating situation as painless as possible. As for the car, it’s exactly what we rented. It has Apple CarPlay, cold AC, blind spot assist, and has done everything we needed it to do. Was it "freshly professionally detailed" clean? Notta. It had been wiped down and vacuumed, but the windows were pretty rough. I stopped at Walmart, spent about $3 on some glass cleaner, and cleaned them myself. But here’s the thing: Fox was literally HALF the price of every other rental car company at the Phoenix airport, and I checked all of them; seriously. For half price, I’ll happily buy some Windex and clean my own windows in the QT parking lot. Great service, great value, and I’d absolutely rent from this location again when I'm back in town next month.

Over a 2hr wait for supplier choice. If I cancel, I have to pay full price since it’s within 48hrs. They are still taking more reservations despite not having vehicles and they obviously do not let you know at the counter. No communication. All communication has been from other waiting customers. Do use these guys. Pay a little more for a reputable company.

We didnt wait in line for to terrible long. There was probably 15 people in front of us. (Obviously its going to take a bit when they are busy) I got the pleasure of being assisted by Hassan, he went above an beyond to make sure I had a car big enough to fit all my daughters stuff, explained to me how to drop the car off , since id be dropping off while they were closed. He was a fast, and efficient, while being a real team player, he helped out the others with printer paper as well. You take a paper and document all of the damage before you even leave the parking garage. If something is wrong, document it. Car was nice, dis great on gas. No pressure to by anything extra. Reciept was just fine. They did wonderful. I appreciate you guys.

This thing was a ton of fun, a super quick little car and a rental so you treat it like a rental and it treats you like it's a rental. No seriously the car was great other than the creeks and moans it made, being all-wheel drive I think this vehicle had been taken off road a few times.. Getting the car was easy returning it was easy had no problems whatsoever. Speedometer went to 160, didn't quite get it there but tried... With the all-wheel drive I was surprised when I looked up the 0 to 60 on this it felt much quicker. Would definitely rent from them again and for the price everything was worth it. No bad experiences. Obviously liked the car enough to take quite a few pics. Could have been cleaned better. Total time we waited in line for a rep was about 3 to 5 minutes. Out bill wasn't expensive and there was no hidden charges but we go through Expedia and they're great so we don't have to worry.
