I must admit for my initial consult appointment everything went smoothly. I didn’t wait too long in the waiting area even though staff apologized for the wait. It wasn’t unbearable. The staff was professional, friendly, respectful and answered my questions. I saw Nikkeya Boyd who was wonderful. I would recommend this practice to anyone seeking care

Doctor Harrison was professional as well as kind. She explained my results in a way I could easily understand. She also took the time to answer my questions and explained everything fully. My experience with her and everyone in the practice has been very positive.

My doctor Nikkeya Boyd was fantastic and made me feel comfortable, even introduced me to a new form of birth control I had never tried and set me up with at home deliveries through a local pharmacy. Rebekah at the front desk is amazing. My daughter needed records quickly and it was on a Friday late afternoon. That didn’t stop Rebekah from getting assistance from Rita and together they were able to provide exactly what was needed for Monday morning appointment. Because of both of these amazing employees, my daughter is able to do her next step of what is needed for her care. The care and efficiency that we experienced today is superior. Today was my first time seeing Dr. Kylie and I was very impressed. The check-in staff was very helpful and accommodating walking me through the necessary paperwork. However Dr. Kylie made my experience even more pleasant and she made a possible scary upcoming procedure less scary because she took her time, showed me on the diagram of a woman’s reproductive the area and thoroughly explained the process of the biopsy and possible next step. Very pleasant demeanor and answered all questions and explained alternatives. Even more pleasing was upon check out, I saw several women of color in the waiting room, which suggested to me that AZ Gynecologist consultants Builtmore location cares about equity in terms of great care for all. African American and other women of color traditionally have to fight to be provided with excellent and equitable care.

Cecilia Hayes I’ve been going to for many years and she has forever been kind , personable and Terrific in every way !! I always feel comfortable and I like the atmosphere and all the staffs kindness through the years. I moved away from this location but I still always drive 35 min to come to Cecelia. I do highly recommend this location and especially dr. Cecelia Hayes !! I had to reschedule several times and a few times forgot to call and they were always still patient and understanding and never threatened to discard me as a patient. ! I appreciated that so much also.

I would absolutely recommend them. 😃I visited the location on Ray Road and I was seen by Marlene Zeller one of the Nurse Practitioners there and she is absolutely wonderful. I request her now every time and I was wishing I would’ve changed OBGYNs 3 babies ago, lol. Every time I see her she takes time with me and really addresses every concern and question I have and she is so personable and kind. I really feel that she is genuine and truly cares about what’s going on with her patients. I Also know that she is not taking up and has seen amount of time with me so that she can care for the other patients as well in the same manner. The office ladies are always very cheerful and nice and they always get me in very quickly. I’m not sure how they do it, but I never have to wait long for an appointment. I am over the moon happy with this place. 😊

I have been seeing this doctor Kate Peterson Maroney for the past five years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I receive. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her patients. I really appreciate how well prepared she always is—she remembers my medical history and even details from visits a year ago, which makes me feel valued and well cared for. The office is very efficient. I never have to wait long, and if an ultrasound is needed, it can be done right away during the visit, which is incredibly convenient. Cecilia Hayes is the best. She made me feel extremely calm and understood when I expressed to her some health concerns I’ve been facing. Always know I’m going to receive great care with her. The other staff members are super kind, my wait time wasn’t long, and the office was clean and organized. Definitely recommend.

Dr Jackson is the best!! He has great bed side manners! He always listens and asks about any concerns I have goes over possible solutions and gives me the opportunity to decide if it’s something I’d like to try. I agree with the other positive reviews. Dr. Powers genuinely spent the time to explain the approach to my perimenopause symptoms and how prior studies no longer apply given the changes to HRT. I’ve never had an OB/GYN spend as much time discussing my history and needs. My appointment was out of pocket because I wanted someone to trust. She was caring and attentive. Thank you!

Dr Kathleen powers is an amazing doctor. I recently switched doctors because I had a male doctor and I just wanted to feel more comfortable. She was very attentive and explained every question I had. Dr. Powers is amazing. The whole staff is actually quite nice. I’ve had to have a few appointments now and I’m always in and out in a timely manner, no waiting at all. I love the fact that you can complete all your paperwork online before you come in. The patient portal is also a great tool to avoid unnecessary phone calls. I had an ultrasound and the RN was the best at her job I’ve ever had, and let me tell you people, I have had A LOT of ultrasounds over the years!! Bonnie was the NP that did my yearly pap and womanly exam and she was fantastic as well. Bonnie spent so much time with me in the room, I never felt rushed like she had more important things to do. Same with Dr. Powers actually. Dr. Powers helped me more than any Gyno I have been to in the past 8 years and wasn’t willing to “stick a band-aid” over my issues, but actually help me find a definitive solution unlike previous doctors. I’m very happy with all the service I received and will return for any of my female issues. Thank you ladies!!

What an amazing experience! The staff was amazing from when I walked in the door until the moment I left. They truly made me feel welcomed and were so informative. Dr. Powers and her associate were so kind! Dr. Powers was able to point me in the right direction and provide me with the right tools to figuring out my fertility issue. This place is so peaceful and professional. By looking at the outside, you can already tell what the inside will look like. Staff are super friendly, lobby is super clean, very well organized. It’s been so long since I seen dr Culbertson. He delivered my son 13 years ago. Now he’s going to deliver my second son , this upcoming November! So excited because I know we’re in good hands .

First time mom here! I want to say I would give Dr. Bruce Culbertson more than 5 stars if I could! He was absolutely amazing throughout my pregnancy he was always listening, making me feel heard, and showing genuine kindness and support. He also prepared me for the possibility if he were to not be in the delivery room where he made sure I met the other providers in the office, they were also wonderful. Thankfully, he was there for my induction, and seeing a familiar face meant so much to me. He delivered my baby boy with such calmness, and everything went smoothly and quickly. I saw him today for my 6 week follow-up, and he is still just as caring and understanding, just like day one.

From having a horrible experience with my first OBGYN, I switched to Dr. Culbertson’s office and it was the BEST decision my partner and I could’ve had. Dr. Bruce Culbertson is a wonderful doctor. He delivered my daughter three years ago at St Joseph’s, which led us to become his patient at Midtown OBGYN. Every time I pass by this office I get so happy because I have one of the best OBGYNs by the name of Corey Bruce and he delivered my first child and was all of my children’s OBGYN a doctor so I want to see anybody who’s looking for a good doctor he’s the one very kind very sweet professional like just a very warmth presence about him. I was referred to Dr. Corey Bruce by a family member and I am so thankful. I was very nervous going to my first appointment as it can be a scary first time thing. I went in for my annual exam with Megan Speakermire, NP, and she was absolutely wonderful, so kind, thoughtful, efficient, and thorough. She took the time to listen and offered such sound, practical advice. From the front office staff to the assisting nurses, everyone I encountered was warm and welcoming. My mid-morning appointment started right on time, which I really appreciated. I also came back for my mammogram, which is conveniently offered at their facility. Chantel, the radiology tech, was amazing! She made me feel completely comfortable, explained every step of the process, and was clearly very knowledgeable. It was my first mammogram, and I was surprised by how quick, smooth, and comfortable the entire experience was. I can’t say enough good things. Dr. Schwartz delivered my sons 14 and 15 years ago. When I found out I was pregnant again I knew I had to have her as my doctor again. She delivered my baby girl last year, and will be delivering my next daughter this year. She saved my 14 year olds life at birth. She has taken such great care of me during a high risk pregnancy last year. She cares deeply about her patients and is just a warrior in the delivery room. Like others have said, when she enters the room you just know you’re in good hands. She is beyond an expert. Her work is her life. And I am so thankful to have found her years ago. The practice is also great. They are busy, but that’s because they are that amazing. It’s worth the extra hold times and whatever other growing pains come along with that. Can’t recommend CWH enough.

I was seen by Margaret Castor last year and had a good experience. I’d been going to my primary care Dr in the past for my annual and decided to schedule here instead. I showed up 10 mins early for my 3:30 appt and checked in fine with Amy. I ended up leaving at 4:10pm without even seeing the doctor, after I had been to the desk twice to check on the status, I was told it’d be another 10-15 minutes (4:20-4:35)… so an hour after my appt time. It would have been nice if the front desk had informed me of this when I got there, or at all, instead of me having to go up twice to ask. I ended up having to cancel and leave. I took off work early for this, I am so disappointed.

Dr. Blackstone is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever had! This is my first pregnancy and Dr. Blackstone always answers all of my questions and concerns, no matter how small, and never fails make sure I feel reassured after I talk to her. She truly goes above and beyond for her patients and I feel so incredibly lucky that we have her in our corner! Even my husband, who usually isn’t a huge fan of doctors, has loved and appreciated everything Dr. Blackstone has done for our family! Dr. Blackstone, thank you seriously so much!

Honestly spent my entire last pregnancy with this office , had a lot of problems with the reception and admin part….. For one the front ladies suck, its usually just one , the only white girl, but i have been helped by others. She acts so high and mighty, lacks empathy…like I went this morning, asked for a doctors note she saod she’d get it, then im sitting there , shes chatting it up, I left after waiting 15 min…. ive done given birth , so this review is for the past year ive been seen at their office. They also don’t update you with any info that much, you have to be checking your portal… THEY DONT DO ULTRASOUNDS , so dont expect one. If this is your first pregnancy dont come here, you wont get the cute ultra sound photos . Higley and his midwife Sarah, great people , Sara birthed my baby, she was great. For an office that accepts medicare and accchs insurance, they sure try to charge out the wahoo for whatever they can….. 200 for missed procedures. 50 for missed appointments that weren’t notified 24 hours in advanced . Just got my birth control in and thank goodness. This will be the last time I go to their office. Struggling with pregnancy and having to deal with the front of office Ladies is not worth it honestly…

I recently visited this location for the first time after being transferred here, and unfortunately, my experience makes me hesitant to return. After checking in and completing my appointment, I was instructed by the doctor to wait in the lobby to be called back for bloodwork. I waited while other patients were being seen and noticed patients coming in and out of appointments as I continued to sit there. After about 30 minutes, I politely asked the front desk if I would be called soon. I was given a general response and continued waiting. As it approached 4:00 PM, I noticed staff preparing to leave while I was still waiting. During that time, I overheard an employee, Lizette, tell another staff member, “she’s just staring over here,” in a rough tone in reference to me. I found this comment rude and unprofessional, especially since I had not interacted with her prior to that moment. I responded calmly, explaining that I was simply waiting my turn. Shortly after, around 4:20 PM, I was finally called back, only to be told the lab had already closed and my bloodwork could not be completed. This experience left me feeling frustrated and disregarded. I would have appreciated clearer communication about wait times and lab hours, as well as a more respectful and professional approach from staff.

I have been here 3 times now to see Dr. Andrews and highly recommend! The staff is all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have ultrasound and lab in office so you do not need to go elsewhere. I get ultrasound results and go over a plan the same day. I rarely wait to be seen and if anything, I’m seen early. Dr. Andrews has a great demeanor and I feel very confident with her!

This was my first visit to this office. I took time off work, drove a considerable distance, and arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from the moment I attempted checked in. The front desk staff was unprofessional. I was asked for my last name twice while the receptionist remained on the phone, leaving me standing there for approximately 5 minutes without acknowledgment. I then overheard her telling a coworker which doctor I was there to see, so I asked who was assisting me. At that point, I was told, “Did you get the text?” I replied that I had not received any text, and was then informed that the doctor was actually at the Avondale location. A situation like this should have been communicated through a confirmed phone call or email, for confirmation received. As a former patient of Dr. Plimpton prior to his retirement, I can honestly say this office does not reflect the level of professionalism and care that I previously experienced. Patients are charged for no-shows, yet I took time off work, spent money on gas, and arrived early only to be turned away due to poor communication. Where’s the compensation for me at. This level of service

BOOK WITH DR. DU, you won’t regret it!!!!!!!! Dr. Du treated me like a real person—not just another patient to get through the day. She truly listens and makes sure I feel heard, and I’ve never once felt overlooked or rushed in her care. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and compassionate, while also being honest and to the point, which I really appreciate. She was there for me throughout my entire pregnancy, and I trust her completely. I had fully planned on having all of my children with her (if I weren’t moving out of state), which says everything about the level of care she provides. This has been some of the best care I’ve ever received. I’m genuinely sad to be leaving her practice and have already recommended her to several people. It’s so hard to find truly exceptional women’s healthcare, and she absolutely stands out. I cannot recommend her enough.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My wife and I have been going here for months since we found out she was pregnant in January. This place is nothing short of horrendous. Consistently inconsistent. Always a battle to get them to respond to the simplest of requests. Even getting them on the phone is impossible. I have never waited LESS than 15 minutes when calling their office! They are so unorganized, every time you come in, you see a new doctor. Every time you see a new doctor, you have to explain your entire pregnancy over again. This is clearly a chain of OBs which operates to maximize profit and CLEARLY do not put the patient first. We had our anatomy scan scheduled MONTHS in advance only to be called the morning of to tell us it had been CANCELLED because there was no ultrasound tech in the office. Not to mention that after they rescheduled for two weeks later, there was still no doctor in the office that was able to go over the results with us. The doctors are nice, but the front office staff and receptionist are just absolutely horrible. Terrible attitude when you are calling and just CONSTANTLY unhelpful. They need to be reminded of the simplest of tasks. Luckily, we were able to find a new OB for delivery and have discontinued our care with this office and I ENCOURAGE you to do the same before it is too late. A wanton disregard for the care of their patients.

This review is in regards to the reception. I’ve been going here for a couple of years. I usually have a good experience (besides one bad experience with one doctor). I had recently had an appointment and it had been about a little over a week and I still hadn’t heard anything back regarding my appointment. It is very hard to get anyone to answer the phone, they will pick up and immediately put you on hold without saying anything and then you’ll be on hold forever. So I had left a message for my provider to get back to me. Finally someone called me back and I told them I was inquiring about my recent test results. They told me everything was fine and I asked if she was sure because I knew something was wrong. She kept saying yes and then referenced test from December 2025 when it was March 2026 I was referring too. She then said oh yeah it’s blood test right? I’m like no, I literally went last week. I started to get worried that maybe the cultures weren’t sent to the lab or something and that’s why she couldn’t find it. She then said oh yeah they’re negative, everything is negative. Which I knew couldn’t be true. So I asked her again and she was like I can have the doctor call you and I said ok good, she then mentioned a virtual visit and I told her I didn’t want a video visit bc the last time the doctor told me she could’ve just called me and there was no need for a video visit. So I confirmed that is was a call and not a virtual visit like she mentioned, she assured me it would be a phone call and that’s “just what they call it” a virtual visit. Which didn’t sound right to me. But nonetheless I said ok and she asked what time would be a good time to have the doctor call, I gave her a time to call and as soon as I hung up I got a text message that I was scheduled for a video visit which I told her I did NOT want. It was after office hours so I couldn’t call back to inquire about it. So the next morning my doctor called and she said the same thing that a previous doctor said, that a video call wasn’t necessary and she said she would make sure I didn’t get charged for it. I ended up getting charged for the video visit which I insisted I didn’t want/request and I told her I wanted to speak with the office manager bc of the wrong information the receptionist was giving me, considering it could be very dangerous if my test were for a very serious disease or something and they’re telling me it was negative etc. I never did get a call back from the office manager either. I’m disappointed bc I’ve been coming to this doctor’s office for a while now.

Dr. Hervey is truly amazing at what he does. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed by a friendly and caring staff—from the front desk to every midwife and physician in the practice. Everyone treats you like family and genuinely makes you feel valued. Dr. Hervey’s bedside manner is unmatched. He is compassionate, attentive, and always takes the time to listen to your concerns. Throughout my pregnancy, he made me feel heard, supported, and empowered. He respects your choices, reminds you that it’s your body, and works with you to ensure that your birth plan and decisions are carried out as safely as possible. Dr. Hervey has cared for me through two of my three pregnancies, and I only wish I had found him sooner. I couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable, compassionate, and supportive OB-GYN. I highly recommend Dr. Hervey and his entire team to anyone looking for exceptional prenatal and obstetric care.

I am so, so grateful I found this practice!! I went to the meet-and-greet when I was newly pregnant and searching for a midwife, and was immediately impressed with the entire team. I ended up getting to work with Michelle, who took care of me during my pregnancy and delivered my first baby. Truly, I couldn’t have asked for more! She is incredibly loving, knowledgeable, supportive, and patient-centered. She never rushed during appointments, answered any questions I had, and provided holistic care based on what she knew I wanted. I felt so supported and safe with her always! I will definitely be a return patient for all future babies.

Ellie Tan is truly one of the greatest human beings I have ever met. She is an incredibly caring, thoughtful, and compassionate provider, but beyond that she is an amazing person. From the very beginning, Ellie made me feel supported, heard, and safe throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery. She is meticulous, detail-oriented, and incredibly attentive, always making sure every decision was thoughtful and in the best interest of both me and my baby. She was with me every step of the way and helped guide me through a challenging delivery with such calm, expertise, and kindness. Because of Ellie, my birth experience with my daughter was not only safe but truly extraordinary. Her bedside manner, patience, and thoughtful approach to birth made the entire journey feel empowering and special. I will always feel honored to say that Ellie delivered my daughter. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her care, her dedication, and the heart she brings to her work.

I have been coming here for over three years. I have never had a bad experience. The Drs, midwives, and supporting staff have always been friendly, supportive, caring, and knowledgeable. They all genuinely care for their patients. I have delivered two babies with Dr Hervey and under his care they have both been beautiful, unique experiences. I have a history of trauma/abuse and both pregnancies were high risk; we were able to navigate those challenges to have two beautiful healthy babies while also being able to personalize my care. He always listens to my concerns and answers my questions. I never felt like another number being pushed through the door like in other offices. I always felt safe and understood. They have other resources available too! This is an amazing office, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr Hervey is absolutely phenomenal. I scheduled a breech consult with him at 37 weeks pregnant and was able to get my ECV scheduled and done within 4 days of the consult. He was able to complete the version in less than 2 minutes and it was absolutely painless. He’s so kind and offers options instead of giving directive and really makes me feel like my preferences matter. Highly recommend him!

Ellie is the best. She was my midwife for my last 2 pregnancies. She really made me feel safe, she respected and made sure that my birth plan was followed and she did everything she could possibly do to make sure that my babies and myself had a smooth delivery. She really cares and loves what she does and it shows through her work. She is definitely a blessing to my family and I and I could not be more grateful!!

Absolutely love Whitney O’Brien, CNM, and Mathena Jardine, NP! I’m so sad I had to transfer my care due to relocating, but I’m truly grateful for the time I spent at this office and with both of these amazing providers. They made such a special part of my journey, and I couldn’t recommend them enough! ❤️
