I was traveling from the East Coast for work in Arizona and had never been here before. Needing a haircut, I searched for barbers near Phoenix and came across Vlad’s Barbershop. From the name and location alone, I had a good feeling—and it didn’t disappoint. Vlad was able to fit me in quickly. His customer service was excellent, and his attention to detail really stood out. With 20 years of experience, it definitely shows in the quality of his work. Unfortunately, I don’t live in Arizona—otherwise, Vlad would absolutely be my go-to barber. 12/10

We’ve been going to Vlad’s for a long time. My son used to like a tight fade and now he likes it floppy surfer-style. Vlad and his guys are great listeners and can do it all!

I have been coming to VLAD’S barbershop for about 3 years now and I always go to Big Mike and he always has me looking fresh. The vibes are always great with the music playing and live comedy trash talking from barber to barber especially between Big Mike and VLAD the owner. So I recommend coming in for a great hair cut to look and feel great and for the live entertainment! 😂

First time visiting this place. Placed an appointment and arrived a little early and got right in. The gentleman cutting my hair was great and did an excellent job. Will most definitely come back for more cuts.

My oldest son took two of my boys to get a haircut today at Vlads barbershop, which was the worst mistake we did. The barber Alex Cut my 10 year olds hair and his end result are the two first pictures that I posted my oldest son told him that I did not like the haircut he did not blend it. The front was uneven.so he “supposedly fixed” his haircut, which are the last pictures. I do not see where he fixed because it’s still a hot mess. And he also cut my smallest sons hair and you can look at the pictures and tell that this Barber does not know what he’s doing on the top of that he did not want to fix my smallest son hair, because if he did, he was going to charge double and he still had attitude because he was asked to fix one cut.

Came in as a walk in and had the pleasure of Vlad cutting my hair. He did an excellent job and I was very impressed with his skills and precision! Highly recommend!

This has nothing to do with the manager, I think he’s done his best with trying to fix this situation. But I’m posting this so you guys can see the work the barbers put out and as professionals don’t see and issue. I went in for a modern mullet and came out with this. So now I have to find a completely different barber shop and my hair for my wedding is ruined and I spent 7 months growing it because my wife loves my long hair. And now the top is longer than the back and inn4 different lengths all around my head. The side look horrendous and are cut in three different directions. There’s hard lines everywhere. Do not let the older man with light hair and light eyes cut your hair. He will jack you up.

I get my hair cut here and the guys are always so sweet. The vibe here is very family like and everyone is always so focused and having a good time. The guys cutting my hair always like to have a little convo with me and make me feel included. They take great care of me everything I go in and this is the only place I’ll go to get my touch ups! Awesome work guys.

Barber did not understand the assignment for a natural part and mid fade. I believe his name was JJ. Dude reeked of cigarettes. Couple days after haircut and I have so many acne bumps on the back and side of “fade.” Place is overall dirty, and clearly do not clean their tools. I’ll be reaching out to BBB and health inspector. Honestly embarrassing to even post photos. Nasty place overall, must’ve paid AI for these good reviews.

I went to this barbershop because the one I was going to would dig the clippers into your skull. They were also very pricey. I saw this one on Google and they had great reviews so I went there. Johnny gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a while. Service was excellent and so was the pricing. I will definitely go back.

I took my son to get a haircut design by Willy for the first time, and the experience was outstanding. Willy provided great service and created an awesome design. He took his time to ensure everything came out perfectly, paying close attention to detail. We left very happy with the result, and I’m confident we’ll be returning for future haircuts. I went in as a walk in and it was by far the best walk in experience I’ve had. Sam was my barber and I’ll definitely be coming back. This was the second time I’ve done a walk in, and I’ll continue to be back. Would recommend to anyone who needs a haircut or beard trim. No cuts and no skin irritations. Price was reasonable, personally felt cheap for the service.

Everytime I come, I make sure Wes is there. I show him a picture of the hairstyle I want and he gets to it and does an outstanding job. Every detail he doesn’t miss and has good communication. The hot towel and massage they give afterwords is such a relaxer. Overall great service and great people.

Sam is the one that cut my hair… his brother Alex did amazing job next to me as well… in my almost 50 years best hair cut I ever had… not to be out done Mo and Mobin did awesome hair cuts as well… YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH ANYONE AT SHAVE AND FADE

I love this place. They give the best haircuts their line is kinda long sometimes but they do their best to make it fast. They got me in within 15 minutes, but the haircut was amazing really worth it most definitely coming back.

Felt great about my hair after. Theres a young guy named Moe who genuinely gave me one of the freshest cuts ive gotten in a long time. Usually i gotta wait like 2 weeks with haircuts for them to grow out and look solid but Moe got me looking fresh immediately which i really appreciate. Great guy who knows how to get you right and gives great service.

Barber shop was convenient near the house but won’t be coming back. i got a haircut trusting the barber and wasn’t shown the back of my head. went out and was made fun of multiple times how ugly and uneven the back of my head looked. I even left a tip 💔

Got my hair cut by George and it was absolutely perfect. I told him what I wanted and with out hesitation he got straight into work and gave me exactly what I asked for. On top of his amazing work he had great customer service. Will definitely be back for him

For the love of God wish I could take stars away. Can’t speak for everyone there but my dude, cause he damn sure wasn’t a barber, had no business picking up a pair of scissors. Wanted to cut my shoulder length hair to a medium/long parted style. Cut well over 2 inches past what I asked for or what the multiple picture showed. Had to go to a different shop right afterwards to try and salvage any form of an acceptable haircut. Place is only good is you plan to buzz or shave your head.

I asked for a medium fade and I got this, cuts there aren’t consistent my son also got a medium fade yet his looks good. Mine isn’t even faded in well. I’ve been getting cuts here for awhile but this by far the worst cut I’ve gotten in a long time

I went on recommendation from a friend to Jordans Barbershop and I cant give enough credit to my barber Lalo. He gave me an amazing cut and trimmed my beard which I normally wouldn’t have anyone do, but he did so well on my hair that I decided to give him a shot and WOW. I was very impressed! The overall experience was very good. The shop was very clean and I saw all the barbers cleaning before and after another customer hopped in the chair. Lalo was very professional and knowledgeable about what would fit the shape of my head. If I could give a ten star review I would! Definitely worth the trip, and if you go ask for Lalo!

I had a great experience at this barber shop. It was my first time coming in, and the walk-in process was quick and easy. The shop was very clean, the facilities were nice, and they even had clean restrooms, which is always a plus. Lorenzo did an outstanding job on my haircut. He was professional, took his time, paid attention to detail, and made sure everything came out exactly how I wanted. Famous is an kind and accommodating Barber. I got my son last minute for Christmas. I called all the barbers I knew and all were booked. We thought my son’s hair was cooked for Christmas Eve dinner . Famous rolled out from the back. Set out the red carpet; and took my kid and gave him a fresh cut he loved. My son’s words were. ” Finally someone who cuts my hair how I wanted.” 10/10 thank you Famous!

I came in to get my 8 year olds hair cut! Louie was very patient and kind. I was really nervous and wasn’t sure the best hair cut for my son. Louie was very helpful and had knowledge about my son’s hair and even his curls! He took his time and I want to thank him again! He even made his eyebrow look good!

Second time I booked with Louie and by far one of the best fades I’ve had, reason why I’ll be retuning. First thing he notice the unbalance of my hair that I never knew was a thing. Just got a cut earlier today and ngl this place is definitely a hidden gem. Ozzy cut my hair with incredible attention to detail. I showed up 30min before close so I expected him to rush the cut but he didn’t. He took his time and did multiple checks just to make sure he got it right, truly a master of his craft. And they don’t overcharge like other places, will definitely be back.

He’s hands down the best barber I’ve ever had. Impeccable service and professionalism. I happily drive half an hour from south tempe just to get my cut here. If you’re looking for a great haircut with experienced pros, and especially if you’ve got thick and curly hair like mine, this place is it. 10/10.

I called 7 barber shops around Phoenix and this was the only one that welcomed me as a female BIPOC. Willy went above and beyond to make sure my hair came out perfect! He ignored the time and the fact that it was late in a Saturday and focused on quality service like I have never experienced from any business in Arizona. They did an amazing job. Issac was so patient and quick. He did such a good job on my son’s haircut. This was his first time back in the barber’s chair in over 2 years and it was a really good experience.

I have long hair and went to get a low fade on the sides, but the barber clearly didn’t know what he was doing—he left one side lower than the other, didn’t blend the fade properly, left patches of longer hair, and even messed up the line design so it wasn’t straight, although I will say he did a decent job on my eyebrow lineup; overall it’s a terrible haircut, and for $40 + tip it’s really disappointing, so I’d definitely recommend asking if a barber is experienced or making sure they’re confident in doing fades beforehand, otherwise you might end up like me, and it’s not like my hair is going to grow back fast enough to fix it anytime soon.

I had a great experience bringing my son in for a haircut. Juanito was patient, friendly, and made him feel comfortable the entire time. The haircut turned out exactly how we wanted, and the attention to detail was excellent. It’s not always easy finding someone who does a great job with kids, but they were fantastic. My kid just came home from there with a horrible haircut. Whoever his barber was does not use how to fade and should not be a barber. Update… so now they are denying that my kid went in there.
