We brought our Scout group to Octane Raceway and Maverick just a few days ago, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Brandon and Monica took incredible care of us. They made us feel like VIPs all day and went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that our Scouts had a great time. The rest of the staff was just as impressive. Every employee we talked to was polite, helpful, and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place where everyone seems happy to be there. Our Scouts had a blast racing, playing in the arcade, and having a bite to eat! Everything was well organized, and we honestly don’t have a single negative thing to say. Thank you to Brandon, Monica, and the entire team for making our outing so memorable. We’ll definitely be back, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Octane and Maverick to any Scout unit, youth group, or family looking for a fun day out.

Pretty decent and safe circuit. Good carts. There needs to be a complimentary locker service for participants. The locker needs 25 Cents coin and no one has it these days. The kids managing the race need to give better instructions and pull out errant drivers early. Otherwise good and safe family outing with junior and senior times available.

Was fun, nice and technical track for someone with simracing experience but zero karting experience. Staff was helpful for being new, karts are extremely fast and fun. Price is a bit high for the amount of time but it was a great first experience.

Overall best indoor facility in Arizona for karting. You can race with your kids in adult races should they meet the height requirement and be able to set a decent time they then qualify from then on to race adult.

This was the most fun I’ve had at a place like this! The go karts were awesome, tons of arcade games and a fun shop to redeem tickets, and the food was really good. Our company team had a reserved table, drink tickets, fajita bar, two races, and tons of game cards. Easily spent more than 4 hours together here. Couldn’t have asked for a better environment or friendlier employees. Jarrett was a solid bartender!

It was a lot of fun. Their check in process is super quirky. We reserved online which I’m glad we could do because other places don’t do reservations. But you have to sign in on a tablet when you get there. Then get in another line to visit the people at the desk to get tickets which are really receipts. Why? I don’t know. Because we didn’t have to show them to the people at the track. The track was efficiently ran and kept moving that was a good system.. I think the quirkiness was just the online sign in process.

We bought a Groupon for the VR for the wrong state! Groupon was 100% unhelpful. We called High Octane Raceway to see what if anything they can do. Officially they couldn’t do anything but Matt the GM took care of us and made himself two customers for life. We will sing this location’s praises and will be back over and over again because this company chose their customers over their money. The tone of the call was that they wanted to make sure we had a good time at the end of the day. That was the most important thing. That is clearly something this company excels at, We have been here a few times now and can confirm that it really is one of the coolest places to have fun in Scottsdale. Racing, Zombie Killing, all the good stuff, great chicken fingers too. The VR is the main reasons we wanted to come here, it is so fun! They have a lot of options to choose from. Amazing features and amazing customer service…. High Octane Raceway for the win! Thank you. thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This was the best Birthday Party 🥳 🎂 All my friends thought it was a great idea, and everyone enjoyed themselves! The staff was all very friendly! 10/10 I really loved how they would call out the party’s name, so everyone could hear! KOOL! 🥳👂 The award part at the end was one of my favorite 🤩 parts of the night. Very Cool!!! 🏎️🏁 Thank you so much K1 Speed Phoenix staff, & Lupe for helping me decide which package is best for my Birthday 🎂 🥳💚

We’ve been to a lot of tracks, but K1 Speed Octane stands out for one simple reason: it treats kids like real racers, not passengers. My son is 11, and this wasn’t just a fun outing for him. This was competition. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt like a legitimate racing environment, not an arcade with go-karts. The staff didn’t talk down to him. They gave clear instructions, expected accountability, and let him earn his laps. The track itself is well-designed. Tight enough to challenge decision-making, but open enough to allow clean overtakes if you’ve got the skill. For a young driver, that balance matters. It teaches racecraft, not just speed. The karts were consistent, which is something most places get wrong. When a kid is trying to improve lap times, inconsistency kills confidence. That wasn’t the case here. He could actually learn. What stood out most to me as a father was the bonding. This wasn’t me watching from the sidelines. I was out there with him, competing, pushing, laughing, and yes, getting beat a few times. That matters more than anything. If you’ve got a kid who loves racing, this place does something rare. It respects that passion instead of watering it down. Bottom line: Not just entertainment. It’s an experience that builds confidence, focus, and a little healthy edge. We’ll be back, and next time, I’m taking the win back.

What a fantastic experience at the K1 go-cart track! We loved the track—there’s real speed, tons of excitement, and the racing feels like it really delivers. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful throughout, and we were especially glad to see the attention to safety every step of the way. The whole setup made it easy to jump in and enjoy right away. Honestly, this was perfect “lazy Saturday” fun: thrilling, memorable, and well managed. Highly recommend!

Dropped by on a Sunday looking for something fun to do. I love that the races you purchase don’t expire. So if you can’t complete them all at that time, you can come back. The wait time was a bit long but there is food and arcade games to keep you busy while you wait.

Jozie Jackson

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the food wasn’t all that good, some of the sliders were burnt, and the wings were tiny. I paid almost $700 for this party and we got 1 drink for the entire time we were there. The wait times were also ridiculous. There was 1 person behind the counter and she was great, but there was only one of her, which is not her fault. She stayed patient and helpful, but we stood around for literally like 20 minutes waiting to be helped. Even when I checked out and closed our tab I had to wait forever. All in all though the place is spotless, spacious, the bathrooms are clean. We all had fun, the guys that gave instructions and ran the track were great, gave good, clear instructions, and were very helpful. I’d go back…but definitely won’t be having any more events there.

The go karts were fast and a lot of fun, the staff was friendly and helpful and it was cool being able to check race results after each round. The only downside was a long wait for the last race because our group was accidentally skipped but we still had a great time overall.

Attend a birthday party here. Check in process was kind of a mess. Lots of confusion and waiting. Once it was figured out it ran smoother. Private upstairs suite was nice. Food was good. Kids enjoyed it. Will definitely be back again.

It was a huge building with a large parking lot. Plenty of space. It was awesome walking in and seeing all the cool stuff and car from the ceiling. Super clean and lots to look at. Lots of super fun arcade games and they have minature bowling 🎳 😀 The dining options were super great as well. Especially liked the corn ribs flavor. The karts are of course the best thing with multiple story racing action. Great place to hang out for a bday party 🥳 and with family plus friends 🧡. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The prices are definitely on the higher end so be prepared. Also id recommend for them to maybe display one of the karts up front for people to check out. 😀

Terrible go karting. The kart handles are super hard. People control our speeds at times. Not a pleasant experience at all. However on the bright side, the VR experiences are amazing and there are a lot of other games which are super fun. Food and service was fantastic. Shoutout to all the amazing friendly people who proactively take care of the customers. Considering the racism I experience in places like Walmart, all the employees I interacted with were helpful. Thank you and love you all. It’s a great place to go with family and friends!!

Held a Team building event for Specialty Insulation Roofing and Coatings here and we had Zade as our Events Host. Zade was ready to go when we arrived with a sign up that had our company name on it along with wrist bands and instructions on how the event will be laid out. Zade walked us to our room that was set up like we were kings. Food was ready and drinks were cold and ready to pour within minutes of order. Races were so fun and we had a blast! I highly recommend asking for Zade and having a Team building event here Thank you From JW and Team Specialty Insulation Roofing & Coatings

We had a team building event and the staff went above and beyond. Reggie and Jenny were the managers that evening. They made sure the whole event went well because they were attentive and helpful along the way. Ely, our bartender, was so friendly. He offered drink recommendations that were delicious. We spent time on the track and the team that runs it are informative and observant during the race. We loved being able to see the scores at the end! To finish off the night we tried out a few of their attractions. Our favorite one was one called Hyperdeck. Anthony was the attendant and he was quick to get us started. If you’re thinking about booking a team building here, do it. We’ll be back for our next one.

From the parents perspective, I give it four stars. Why even sell packages of three races when it takes 2.5 hours to use the package? They have you stuck there, so you’re going to have to do other things. You’ll end up buying a much more expensive package that only has two races and then gives you a little spending money for the video games and other attractions other than bowling. I don’t think it’s brilliant packaging; it’s tacky. Now, from a kids perspective, my kids loved every second of it. The chicken tenders were actually amazing. The girl that helped us at the counter was cold and did not know how to smile. She seemed inconvenienced. My kids loved the laser tag and the racing. My 13-year-old son said it was better than Disneyland.

I took my family here for my son’s 13th birthday. I could only afford to buy packages for him and my granddaughter. I chose the Gold package for two of them it was $210. Came with two races, 3 3d/vr attractions and some game time for arcade , one entree each. I felt that was a good all inclusive package for two 13 yr Olds. We also got some apps for 6 of us which WAS a good deal because two kids entrees were taken off as part of package and the table apps we got were plenty to share. We got pizza, chicken fingers, brisket nachos and brisket fries. The service was outstanding! The server was great. The young woman’s name escapes me! I take away one star just because it was pricey. But fun was had by all! Thank you.

Just spent the weekend here at the 4-cycle super showdown. It was very organized and well run especially considering that it was very popular with lots of entries. Everything ran smoothly. The staff was polite and helpful. I had a question about how they determine the grid position for which a brief answer would have sufficed but the staff gave me a detailed explanation using our standings compared to a close competitor. Much more detail than I expected but I definitely understand the rule not. Thanks. It looks like it will be even busier next year. We look forward to going next year. I would suggest that they add two more food trucks next year and more soap and towels in the bathroom. Maybe a mechanics soap such as “Tough Nut” to wash the grease off. Thanks for a great event

This place is, by far, one of the most fun experiences I’ve had in a long time. It’s surprisingly affordable, and the staff was absolutely awesome. As someone who’s a huge racing enthusiast, I can honestly say this place exceeded all of my expectations. I paid for the 2-hour session, and I’m really glad I did because the first hour and a half flew by. I think I would’ve been disappointed if I had only booked one hour. It takes a little time to get comfortable with the simulator as this is the real deal simulator, but once you do, you’re completely locked in. There are so many cars and tracks to choose from that it can feel a little overwhelming at first. I came in with a few tracks I already wanted to drive, which helped. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and can recommend the best car and track combinations based on the type of racing experience you’re looking for, since not every car is suited for every track. I’ve always wanted my own racing simulator of this caliber, but personally, for around $100 for 2 Hours, I’d rather just come here every once in awhile. I booked the first appointment at noon, and by the time my session ended, the lobby was packed. I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. 10/10 experience. I’m so glad it’s only 10 minutes from my house. Highly, highly recommend!

This was my first experience sim racing and I had a great time. The staff takes the time to set everything up for you according to your skill level, and offers plenty of suggestions. I ended up hanging around for a while just chatting with the guys after my races were done. I look forward to going back and hopefully posting some better times.

Awesome afternoon break at the new racing hotspot in phoenix, World of Racing!Congrats on the grand opening, really enjoyed the top notch gear. The 6dPro setup is no joke and took me an hour to really start to push the tires even with 100’s of iracing starts in my P1x. Pitched it into the hedge a few times but that’s the process and a much cheaper error than on the track. Whether you are a serious sim racer, track junkie , karting enthusiast or other, this is cheap track time and a great place to trade paint with your friends for the serious and the casual thrill seeker. All the best and look forward to seeing you around the sim track. @worldofracingphx Word of advice to the adventurous, the green hell takes alot of time to execute well…I know the track and don’t waste the hours…but to each his own… it’s a one of a kind and sim racing is the only safe way to run it and the pro rig lets you feel every nuance…and tumble. Master Spa or the Glenn first, I’ll be back to claim that top spot in the Hurrican at the Glenn soon haha. Couldn’t wring out that last second in my first stint on new gear.

This place is super super cool, I don’t like much and it takes a lot to impress me. I looked up “driving cars near me” and it popped up. I went to their IG page and messaged them. Instant response and asked my question’s. Alberto and the technology he has in his clean environment on Bell and 32nd made the experience so cool. 55 year old who took his 15 year old three right before her permit test. Yeah she passed it!

Warning it’s addictive i ended up with a membership. I’m there almost daily….4 Month Membership Update: World of Racing is great whether you’re just getting into sim racing or trying to seriously improve. The equipment is solid, but what really sets it apart is the structure. The career challenges, race scenarios, and their in-house system push you to actually learn how to race. I’ve spent a lot of time here working on consistency and racecraft, and it’s made a noticeable difference. It’s not just about fast laps. This place isn’t just a sim racing arcade, it’s a training ground. The structured challenges and race scenarios are designed in a way that forces improvement. You’re not just turning laps, you’re learning how to manage pressure, pass clean, and hold pace over a full run. I’ve used it heavily to build consistency and racecraft, and it translates directly into better performance in competitive racing. If you’re serious about getting faster, this place moves the needle. Alberto and Alec are incredible and make every visit a great experience.

We celebrated my son’s 40th birthday at Andrettis in Glendale. I purchased the package that had bowling, pizza, and go kart racing! Cyena was our hostess for the day. She set up our food table and water station at our assigned bowling lanes and made sure our pizzas and vegetable platter were brought out in a timely manner. She went to each guest to take drink orders. She stayed with us and took care of all of our needs. Cyena also took us to the indoor go kart racing, gave us each our entry wristband and explained what we needed to do. And when our day was over, she packaged up all of the leftovers and decorations and put them on a cart for easy transport to the car. Everyone kept saying it was First Class, and it truly was! We all had such a wonderful time! 5 stars from beginning to end!

Had a great time at Andretti Indoor Karting! The racing itself is a blast and the entire facility is incredibly clean and well-maintained. The only real downside is the cost—it’s a bit pricey for the relatively short amount of track time you get. However, they make up for it with a massive selection of awesome arcade games and other attractions to keep you entertained. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a fun night out!

Rented from these guys for as a birthday present. FULL SERVICE, DID NOT DISAPPOINT CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH We rented the rotax (125cc 2 stroke) karts. They don’t just have some clapped out leftovers, the kart I rented was actually raced no more than a month ago. Bailey does some top notch maintenance and these things were fully tuned up ready to rip. Bailey took his time to go over a couple places where I could pick up some speed and we talked about best ways to attack the track. Was able to shave almost 3 seconds off my time throughout the night. Never got any tips or hands on service at K1 or octane. To compare this experience to K1 or Octane or Andretti is a miss. This is a total different experience and fit for people looking to REALLY do some driving, not just a couple laps in a mini mall.

My experience with Bailey was excellent and he explained in great detail the different kart classes at PKRA and best ways to get started into racing. He was helpful in getting used to the Rotax kart and was an open book for any questions. I would highly suggest working with them if you like to go fast and have some experience already. I do wish there was a beginner rental program with the LO206 class for those just getting started.

What is go kart racing and what are its benefits?

Go kart racing is a sport where drivers pilot small, open-wheeled vehicles, typically on a dedicated track, to compete for speed and position. It offers numerous benefits, including the development of hand-eye coordination, improved reaction times, and a high-intensity cardiovascular workout. Many enthusiasts also enjoy it as a social activity or a way to experience the thrill of motorsports in a controlled environment.
