Phoenix Tutoring - Varsity Tutors

I spent thousands of dollars with them. I had 10 hours left that I really needed to use. They stole that from me. They said I can’t have those 10 hours because they expired. Even though when I bought them, I was told that they never expire. I asked to speak to a supervisor regarding this. They said a supervisor would call me to discuss it. I’ve never received a call from the supervisor.

Our experience with Varsity Tutors has been excellent. The organization has been extremely accommodating meeting the needs of my 12 year old daughter, who is learning Spanish though a Varsity tutor outside of school. We are doing the classes online. Our tutor they matched us with is awesome. She keeps the lessons fun and interesting and keeps the learning progressing. I participate in the lessons to help my daughter take notes and then I can practice with her during the week. I am a very satisfied customer.

I am a current tutor at Varsity Tutors and am excited to be working with them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The company scheduling software makes it easy to specify your availability and preferences to match you with potential clients (both weekly or short term). All of my clients have been great to work with. I also love the on-line software package. It makes it very convenient to work with clients anywhere - even in math! I would highly recommend Varsity Tutors to potential tutors and to future clients.

I have been a public school teacher in math and science over the past twenty years and am currently certified in Mathematics and Biology by the Arizona Department of Education. I have been working for Varsity Tutors since last summer. They have been very supportive and helpful in recommending students to me. If a problem arose it was handled quickly and resolved. I have been very happy with the results over the last several months. The administrators take great care to find the best possible fit for both student and tutor so that the clients academic goals can be achieved.

I have only been a tutor with VT for about a month, and already have a ton of clients! It's been a great way to earn extra income on my own time. There's a great system in place for both student and tutor support, and the staff is really responsive. I've thoroughly enjoyed all my sessions with my students, and have already seen great results. VT clearly spends a lot of time vetting its tutors to justify the price. Great service for both tutors & students.

We have used varsity tutors with several of our children. They helped the older kids with all of their SAT prep and study. Now my 7th grader gets extra help with math through varsity. His tutor is Leslie and our son says he can really learn with her. Varsity has great costumer service and are easy to work with. I especially like that the tutoring is one on one and they will come to your house or preferred location.
