Rent several times here, if Hertz didn't have corporate with our company, I would never come here and rent. They always try to promote a better car to you to make the commission, and add premium insurance package without telling you. 車子很舊且狀況很差,一半以上的車輛機油水箱水都不夠,Sales還會亂推銷然後亂加保險,蠻多半導體設備商的出差人士會來PHX租車,請慎選租車公司。

They were helpful. Although I wish they would have told me I couldn't leave my personal vehicle there. I had not rented a vehicle for a really long time. I had to ask my neighbor for a ride to pick up my vehicle and again when I brought it back. Thank God for good neighbors. Google Maps told me the backside of the location. I had to ask for directions. I was so frustrated. The vehicle was clean aside from some weird shiny stuff falling from the corners of the dash. I was not familiar with the new tech in the vehicle, although I finally figured out most of it by the end of my week long trip.

So I decided to become a Gold account holder to get special services. I've just been informed I need to get my car back to Hertz by 1 O'clock today or I'm being charged for another day. This is very interesting as I picked the car up 6 days ago at 3 O'clock in the afternoon so apparently a Hertz day is 22 hours, good to know. Also I was guaranteed a Jeep rental and I booked it 3 weeks in advance. When I got to the airport the Jeep wasn't available so I took whatever they had. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company, I will be doing just that from now on.

Avoid renting here at all cost. 1 month+ after returning the vehicle, received an additional mysterious charge on credit card from Hertz. When I called the customer service line, they said that we returned the vehicle with no fuel and that I'm now being charged for a full tank of gas. However this is not true, I returned the car with a full tank of gas. I took pictures of the fuel gauge/mileage upon rental of the vehicle as well as return of the vehicle which both show the fuel gauge full. They also sent me an e-receipt the day I returned the vehicle which shows the mileage in/out as well as the fuel in/out (full). Now when I log into my Hertz account over 1 month later, I noticed that they modified this receipt and added fuel charges on. I was told I need to send an email to dispute it which I did (with all the pictures seen here as well as copies of the receipt from the gas stations the day of returning the vehicle). However after 2 emails, no response from Hertz and the charge is still on my credit card statement. Very dishonest and 0 communication

We rented from Hertz and we got a 2024 Ford Edge car back in June 2025. We had the car less than 24 hours and the fan in the car would not shut off. Needless to say the battery went dead. We were an hour and 45 minutes away from Phoenix. We had no car to drive to Phoenix!! Hertz Called in Prescott AZ for another car, but the Hertz manager call us back and said there were no cars available. Do not come. I have nothing here. We told him that we have no car to get to Prescott to even go get a car! We thanked him for letting us know. Needless to say we had to have the car towed from Cottonwood back to Phoenix. Hertz would not provide us customer service at this point we had to cancel and we would like a refund seeing that we only had the car for less than 24 hours and it was rented for five days. We are fighting a dispute to see if we can get our money back. We are willing to pay for the one day, we have the car we are disputing the five day total! We had to cancel with Hertz and rent from another company! This was very disappointing and frustrating as we were on a short trip visiting elderly family members. We will not rent from Hertz again! Hertz is charging us for the 5 days when we only had the car for 16 hrs! Lousy customer service! We did not even get the car we originally signed out for a which was a Chevy equinox!

We rented a 2025 Jeep compass for 2 weeks. The lady at the desk said she was giving us her personal price as a worker. Didn't seem all that cheap though. Still ended up costing 1700 with all fees and taxes. The fees are higher at the airport. It's better to rent elsewhere. But the lady's service was good and the car was in pristine condition. Overall good experience.

Used Enterprise instead. I had a car all ready to rent and we get off the plane to pick it up and and told that they have to put the deposit and the fee on the same card when I explicitly asked to split them. Then they did a soft credit check saying I did not qualify. My husband then took over and they told him he was approved then a minute or so later says oh wait no you aren't so we are stranded without a car in another state. My brother calls them to rent the car for us and they said he would have to be there to be put on as a driver the only problem is he was in Florida and we were in Arizona. This took 45 minutes to an hour of our day. My husband then walked over to Enterprise and they had us in a car within 10 minutes and out of the airport. Stay away from Hertz! They are a joke AND NOT customer friendly!
