Antigua Bakery

Best tres leches cakes I would say for 10 years i being getting my cakes from antigua bakery, never disappoint.

Customer service varies depending on the person, a younger lady was not very help or giving me options when it came to placing a cake order. I was told that the ladies weren’t very good with cake decorations by a worker when I was picking up the cake. When I placed the order they said they weren't going to have time to do the full decorations but most of it they were going to be able to which I was fine with we just wanted a good cake since I had bought a cake here ones before. When I picked up the cake I was so disappointed I didn’t even take a picture of how embarrassed I was with my sister for her baby shower. They didn’t do half of what they said they would do based on the picture I showed which I was aware that they were going to leave out a teddy bear drawing I wanted on the cake. The writing was ugly and the colors didn’t match. The cake was undercooked and it did not taste good. I was very disappointed by the cake but I at least expected the cake to be good and this is what really got to me. We were embarrassed with our guest that were looking forward to eating cake. It’s hard to explain how bad the taste of the cake was I paid almost $96 for a half sheet cake that went to waste. Don’t plan on referring anyone here anymore or going back.

I was excited to find a local Mexican bakery, being that I just moved near here. The reason why the 3 stars, is because of the bolillo, as it was fresh inside and crispy outside. The Pan Dulce was no good. Sadly, it tasted stale and old. I went back a second time to give it another chance and, it still tasted old—not fresh. I’ll just drive the extra miles to my old bakery.

The Antigua Bakery in Tolleson is much better than the Camelback based on the service. As for the cakes, I’ve gotten them here for years. They are so delicious and the designs always come how I want them. I place my order ahead of time and you do have to give a deposit but if you need last minute cakes they also have some with different flavors.

Worst customer service I've ever experience... not only did they ruin my niece cake for her birthday they refused to fix and left it horribly... and the manager still had the nerve to tell me to have a good day!! He should be ashamed of himself hes not management material... I don't recommend no one going to this location they are so ridiculous!!! Not what I ordered and they had the picture for proof of how I wanted!!! And still charges me full price!!! Unacceptable!!!

Omg! Have to try their queso jalapeno bread. SO tasty! Its got like cream cheese, jalapeno, fresh tomatoe inside and the bread is nice and soft. Also got the apple turnover which was also tasty. Flaky soft and sweet apple filling. Bakery was very clean and employee was very attentive and willing to help. When dropping off my car at Firestone this my favorite place to visit.
