Primp and Blow High Street

I love the High street Primp & Blow in Scottsdale. Sargon, Carla & Melissa do an amazing job, are punctual and really take the time and care to ensure that you leave as a beautiful and happy customer. Reception staff are friendly and accommodating. They always offer refreshments to make sure you are comfortable while you wait for your appointment. I highly recommend this salon!

Jade is such a good stylist. It could be weeks from when she last did my hair and it’s perfect and efficient. I’ve been with promo and blow High street for at least seven years as a member. Love it.

We loved coming here to do my daughter’s hair for her headshots at her dance studio. They did amazing and were super quick! Her hair looked so beautiful

Pros: The location was in a really nice area, and the salon looked nice and stylist was very friendly. Service was pretty affordable ($30) for dry styling and easy to book online. Cons: (1) The stylist used such high heat on the curling rod that my hair which was really healthy before the service had a ton of split ends and dryness. I had to do deep conditioning treatments and get a length taken off because it was so fried after the service. (2) Chemical Smell: The stylist also sprayed a lot of hair products in my hair which after washing once left a weird chemically burnt smell in my hair and took 3 double washes with clarifying shampoos to wash out the smell. The hair products seemed to weigh down my hair making it look a little oily and did not even hold up the curls. (3) Poor Hair Curls: I chose a photo in their book of really curly hair, but that is not what the stylist gave me and the curls she did give me starting falling within 1 hour of the service leaving my hair looking only slightly wavy (like having a braid in overnight). Photo taken less than 1 hour after the hair appointment. The shorter front pieces were really the only parts of my hair that held much curl. It was still pretty but definitely not curly. I’ll add that my hair was freshly washed before the service.

Love my membership with Primp & Blow. Jacey at High Street is my go-to! She does the most sexy blow outs! I also appreciate that I can book online and find a time that works any day of the week. My hair always looks great thanks to Primp!
