I had an issue with worms infested in my 50 lb bag of food that created my dog to have worms in his poop. I now have a vet bill of over $500 as of now and had to pay pest control to come and kill the worms that infested my pantry! Thank goodness my dog is ok so far and I hope continues, but as you can imagine, what a stress and worry to deal with. I have been coming to PetsMart for over 5 years, every month spending over $100 each month, as you can see on my history if looked up by my phone number. MATTEO helped me and calmed me. He was so kind and calming and understanding. I came in with my receipt and explained my situation and my worry for my dog and he was understanding, considerate and exchanged it out for me with no issues. Thank you for not adding to my stress and for being considerate and respectful! I will definitely continue my business here. One terrible issue can be turned around when you have someone who helps with good customer service and doesn’t treat every customer like they are just trying to get a free bag of food. He was truly a great understanding human. Thank you!

We were looking to adopt a kitten since we've lost two of our senior cats over the last two months. My wife has always wanted a black cat. When we arrived the only kittens they had were a brother and sister both all black! Tyler helped us and he was very friendly, helpful and a joy to work with. Kudos to him and Petsmart! Absolutely the worst grooming experience I’ve ever had. I took my poodle to the Mayo Blvd location and made it very clear over the phone that I wanted a groomer who specializes in poodles. They scheduled me for 7:00 AM — I showed up on time, but the groomer, Cynthia, was nowhere to be found. She arrived 30 minutes late with no call, no apology, and no sense of urgency whatsoever. I gave her detailed instructions and even showed her a photo of how I wanted my dog groomed. She barely acknowledged it and clearly didn’t care. Then, she kept my poor dog for over 5.5 hours. When I came to pick him up, instead of bringing him out, she continued grooming another dog — and told me to wait! After five hours! Unbelievable. When I finally got my dog back, I was horrified. She butchered his haircut — completely ruined the look, ignored everything I asked for, and left him looking worse than ever. Uneven, choppy, and nothing like a professional groom. She destroyed his coat. Then came the final insult — she added a $15 charge for a nail trim I never asked for. I paid what I was required to, but let me be clear: what she did to my dog was not worth paying for. This was hands down the most careless, disrespectful, and unprofessional service I’ve ever encountered. Do not bring your dog to Cynthia or this location. They don’t care, they don’t listen, and they have no business handling animals. If I could give zero stars, I would. Stay far, far away.

I just love the daycare here. I had a very busy day at work on my dog's birthday and really couldn't do anything special for him that day and had to put him into daycare. I mentioned to one of the workers that it was birthday. When I picked him up that night, they'd made him this beautiful card and put together a bag of goodies. I wasn't expecting that, and it just made my day and meant so much to me that they cared for him in that way, and I still have the card on our refrigerator months later. They are always kind and wonderful and just the very best people. They are so good with my dog. He is so thrilled whenever I take him. He can't wait to go there. He doesn't even notice that I have left. He is so exhausted the next day. He usually sleeps for 12 hours straight. Their themed party days are so cute, and they always take such good pictures of him. I don't how they get him to smile. I can't get him to smile in pictures for me. I just love being able to take him there because I know he loves it, and it's something I can do for him that I know improves his quality of life.

Staff is always super nice. The manager too. The store is clean and they have prescription food. Best choice for the area. (The one on frank loyed is kinda gross, use this store)

APPALLING experience! A very rude and incredibly UNprofessional employee, Josh G., pushed me out of the store at 9:02pm claiming that the register closes and locks down at exactly 9:05pm. I was about done anyway… I made my rushed purchase at 9:04pm. But NOT believing him… I asked to wait ONE minute until 9:06pm to test the alleged policy by making another purchase of an item at the counter. He "curtly" and rudely refused saying "I’m busy and cannot do that." I persisted, saying that it’s not unreasonable to ask him to wait ONE minute. He kept repeating himself saying "I’m busy." When I calmly and politely protested and expressed that it felt like "BS" (NOT bull shit, but "BS") he then accused me of "swearing." OMG! Life's too short for such a lack of cooperation and discourtesy. Josh G. should be reprimanded for this behavior. It WAS BS! Store #1270, 7077 E Mayo Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ.

This store has ABSOLUTELY AMAZING customer service & employees that truly seem to care for the animals!!! From the moment I walk into the store I feel comfortable & look forward to being welcomed by employees. I take my baby girl Addie to dog day camp every Thursday & once again I'm welcomed by the amazing employees that take care of my Addie! She gets so excited to see the employees it's cute. I'm very confident & comfortable that they are taking tope notch care for the wellbeing of my baby girl!!! If I could I would have her participate in dog day camp every day that I'm @ work! They pay attention to detail & I always look forward to receiving the party pictures every Thursday:) Thank you so much for ALL the employees @ the Petsmart located @ 7077 E Mayo Blvd #140, Phoenix, AZ 85054.
