Since the subjunctive is so essential to the Spanish language, I was looking for a course with lots of examples and tests. ShareLingo has delivered this in spades and I already see the improvement in my understanding of the subjunctive, especially the compound phrases.

This place is amazing. It’s the best way aside from full immersion that exists to learn a language. It’s not like a boring classroom course, and doesn’t require you to put your life on hold to travel.

Enrolling our baby into HHNH has been a blessing for our family. You may wonder how an infant would benefit from a trilingual immersion program… we did too! I have both my kids attend HHNH preschool and they are both thriving. The teachers there are genuinely invested in their education and learning. I’ve known the teachers from this school for a long time, so this was naturally the school of my choice for enrolling my goddaughter. Besides the care, ethics, and dignity provided by the staff, I must say that the language immersion is the icing on the cake. We receive a daily report, pictures, a weekly newsletter, and the teachers always make time to talk to me whether it’s just to say hi or if I have questions about my son’s progress. You can tell that they really care for all the kids and want to provide a rich, trilingual learning experience for them.

One year later at Hola Hello Ni Hao, they have helped my son grow so much and he loves going to preschool! I really cannot express enough how much our family loves Hola Hello Ni Hao!

I am so satisfied with what I’ve been able to accomplish with Brenda and Spanish Learning Center! The class sizes are small and the ability to meet virtually makes attending very convenient. Students are given the opportunity to practice speaking Spanish in a comfortable setting each and every class. I have completed the beginner level one course and I’m in the middle of level two. I’m definitely planning to continue with these courses! It’s been the best way to learn.

Brenda, her teachers, and the students at the school are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind and will improve your Spanish immediately. This is a much better method for learning a language than any experience I’ve ever had in a university or academic setting. This school will not only assist you in learning grammar and rules, but in truly learning to speak and understand fluently. Even after many years of academic instruction, the only way I was able to become comfortably fluent in Spanish is thanks to The Spanish Learning Center. Highly recommend for students of all ages!

This has been the best class I have found to learn Spanish. Brenda tailors the class for her students. She gives each student time to practice speaking. She also includes grammar, so you know why something is said the way it is. The classes are taught over zoom – it is like being in a live class, however you can be located anywhere to participate. I highly recommend.

I wish I could give 10 stars! Brenda is the sweetest, most patent teacher I have ever had. I am in class with a number of people just starting this journey. She quickly got to a point where she understood how each of us learned individually, and adapted her classes for each of our learning styles. The classes are interactive. She challenges every member of the class equally. We make a lot of mistakes, but she has an uncanny way of making it feel ok to get things wrong. This type of personalized/interactive training is just something you could never get on an app. Recommend her and the Learning Center to anyone interested in learning Spanish!

Brenda has an excellent style of teaching Spanish. I only had a few months of instruction then had to terminate because I was too busy (just doing this to broaden my horizons). What was so nice was her willingness to work with my schedule. She always goes way out of her way to make sure her classes can be attended. Her style is very interactive which made learning faster and more enjoyable. Great place to learn Spanish I highly recommend using the Spanish Learning Center in Tempe.

I have been taking individual Spanish lessons through the Spanish Learning Center, with Brenda, via Skype, for the past two years. I have also attended two immersion weekends through the Spanish Learning Center. I believe I have made significant progress over these last two years and I am proud to say that Brenda is my teacher! Brenda is knowledgeable, patient, and motivating. She provides the perfect combination of challenge and encouragement in order to allow me to learn and grow in my Spanish skills including: conversation, grammar, reading, writing, and pronunciation. I recommend Brenda and the Spanish Learning Center without hesitation, for anyone near or far, who would like to become proficient in Spanish.

I have been learning Spanish with Brenda at the Spanish Learning Center for over a year now, and I highly recommend her. She offers small classes, couples classes, or private lessons (ie – she will tailor the instruction to your specific needs and learning style). I have mainly done private lessons as I prefer to go at my own pace, and I have really enjoyed learning Spanish with Brenda. Though Brenda is a native speaker, she is also a serious student of linguistics. I have had native tutors in the past that understand their own language, but cannot answer all my questions and explain things thoroughly in English. In contrast, Brenda has a deep understanding of the grammatical structure of language in both Spanish and English, and is always able to answer my most detailed questions. Having advanced to an intermediate proficiency with Brenda’s help, we now have enjoyable conversations in Spanish, and delve into the grammatical details when necessary to correct my mistakes. In summary, Brenda is a great teacher and a wonderful person and I recommend her to all my friends who have an interest in improving their Spanish.

The name Friendly House came to mind. Looked it up. It was in the 1970s remember hearing the name Friendly House so often during the families immigration process. My family made so many trips from Mexico to Phoenix. To hear it’s still here to help others is amazing. My grandparents, dad and my uncle’s all were helped by the Friendly House receive their resident green cards. I remember all the loopholes the goverment had and fees. Friendly house answered questions and were always there to make the process easier. It was the goverment offices that was a forever process..We’d leave one office to be sent down street for more copies of this or that, or to another building for more photo passport pictures,back to the same building and wait.. so many visits. It was a success. Thank you for all who work here to help with the process. Because of your help our family are American citizens 3 generations of us. Keep up the great work.

This place is unprofessional. My brother submitted a waiver for a pardon and it was not not done correctly. They did not submit the paperwork properly. When asked to submit the form again they did not cover any expense nor attempt to make things right. I could not believe this. Do not visit this non profit please do your research when going. Poor client experience. I want them to see this. Wasted money on a service that wasn’t done correctly. What a joke, do better next time.

Easy to find schools for citizenship Classes thank you

My Aunt went to this free Immigration services and was on the process of getting her papers. However when Immigration sent her a denial on her case, she still had opportunity to fight the case. Unfortunately friendly house didn’t care about her, because she only had 33 days to respond to USCIS and this Place called her to let her know about the denial 45 days after. This place should care more about people looking for a little help and at least respond and contact customers about these important cases. My aunt is the limbo trying to figure what to do now. Now, because of this my aunt is suffering having no opportunity to at least fight the decision. I would never recommend their Immigration services to anyone because they dont care helping people !!

In his final year at GCU, my son is majoring in the sciences. His experience has been awesome and the roommates I have met along the way are kind, respectful, and mature. The roommates shared their spiritual progress and the different experiences that helped them grow in their relationship with the Lord. In addition to being solid thinkers, they are also life observers and learn with integrity and honor. The best a father could hope for.
A beautiful campus, a good education, and many opportunities to grow spiritually. I think that’s a great higher education program.

We are currently in the process of evaluating GCU for my daughter’s higher education. After reviewing feedback from various online platforms, we have noted a number of one-star ratings and recurring negative comments. While we understand that online reviews do not always reflect the full picture, the volume and consistency of these concerns are a significant factor in our decision-making.

My daughter and I will be discussing these findings in detail before her interview to determine if this institution is the right fit for her. We plan to use this information to ask targeted questions during the interview to gain a more complete understanding of the university’s academic and student life. Our goal is to make a serious and informed decision based on a comprehensive assessment of all available information.

I was invited to an orientation as a prospective PhD candidate. This was a pleasant trip and very informative. We had a full day of activities and they included breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent itinerary which was time conscious and included a campus tour. We had the opportunity to visit the campus bookstore which was a treat. I have applied for the upcoming semester and encourage all students seeking a BA, MA and especially PhD to seriously consider a Grand Canyon University. The admission counselors were very helpful and answered all my questions with no hesitation and basically the follow up that I have received since I left the campus is incredible. That type of support is really needed will you try to finish your PhD and I am excited to be called a member of the Grand Canyon University community. Go Lopes!

I’m the grateful parent of a recent (April) GCU grad. Having visited the three major universities in Arizona, my daughter and I agree that there is no university in this state with the kind of warm, friendly, and respectful atmosphere that is felt on GCU’s campus. From staff to students, everyone is so helpful and kind. All of our daughter’s professors and advisors went out of their way to help her during her four years there. The guidelines for classes and for graduation were clear. And speaking of graduation – never have I been to a graduation that was so well-managed. There were thousands of people in the arena and on the main lawn, yet there was no ugly behavior. The crowd control was impressive and reassuring. There were volunteers stationed EVERYWHERE, all of them clearly identified with badges and/or lanyards, at all possible entry and exit points, directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic and giving out helpful information. There were no awkward pauses or fumbles in the ceremony. Hundreds of names were read out perfectly and kept the procession smooth. There was respect for tradition and an expectation for a certain level of formality which elevated the celebration, but didn’t make it rigid. There was humor and fun, too. The GCU choir was professional quality and astonishingly good. It was clear from the speeches that GCU admin and faculty love what they do and love their students. My only regret is that I have only one child to send to this wonderful school. Go Lopes!!!

They’re worse than car dealers with Lemons (vehicles)! I was under medical care and wanted to give college a try got sick (cancer + knee surgery) withdraw and was given a $2000.00 bill and the worse attitudes. Asked was there any assistance, they never got back. Supposedly a -1000 never happened they basically told me so what! Then there collector Colleen Merlow is the worst! Her attitude and people skills will get them nothing! Not empathetic, just basically said you should have paid your health means nothing. Don’t waste your time and money! There are institutions that care about people not just dollars Father help them. Supposedly using God’s values ( he wasn’t$ hungry) hopefully nothing happens to you during your studies! You’ll get vicious Colleen M.

This place is a joke they are money hungry and could care less about the students. It was all cool until I got my degree and now I’m stuck with a degree that I can’t even use. Not to mention how their prices kept increasing just so happen right after financial aid would disburse some how leaving me a balance. And how I almost couldn’t graduate because some how financial aid wasn’t enough to cover my degree but before even enrolling I was guaranteed that all cost was covered. I had to take out a personal loan which they screwed me on with that as well. My advisor Christian Keeling was no help at all didn’t seem like she knew much when asked questions. Barely could get in touch with her. Lesson learned that I should have just went to a community college in my state. Not the experience I wanted.
