SLOPPY Took my wife’s 2 piece wedding band to get gold added to the bottom because it was getting thin. The first time they welded it into one, the second time it was thinner then when we brought it. 3rd time they sent it to a non corporate shop and the ring doesn’t fit together properly anymore and is out of round and doesn’t fit. I have been buying from the Jewelry exchange for over 25 years and they destroyed my wife’s ring. Alls they could say o us that happens to 2 piece rings a d we won’t charge you for destroying ring. Joe the manager in Tustin is good with the quality.

Very poor customer service. I ordered a pair of 1ct earrings and they sent the incorrect item. I paid for extra shipping to receive them in time for my anniversary. When I called they were unwilling to help me resolve the situation and only offered a 10% discount. I offered several reasonable solutions to make it right and they would not budge. They would not even refund my expedited shipping I paid for to get the earrings in time.

This review is long overdue! This place is truly amazing!! My mom and sister purchased their wedding rings here and it’s always great customer service. This last time my mom and I went in to have her ring cleaned and looked at. Adonis was who assisted us that day. She was very professional, nice and attentive with my mom’s concerns with her ring. She was truly amazing and she gave us a 10/10 experience! Thanks again you are truly one of a kind!

My fiance (now husband) purchased my engagement ring here, and it was pretty, but several things sent up red flags. it is a 1/2ct diamond in a 18k white gold cathedral setting with 6 prongs. It is NOT the setting we picked out. The cathedral portion looks like someone gouged it out with a rough tool rather than machining it smooth. It also looks like someone’s dad soldered something back together, rather than the setting being flush with the ring – there’s a big lump on each side where the setting meets the ring as if they were pieced together. the prongs and setting are rough, and catch on everything – they pull out my hair, snag my clothing, even put a hole in my blouse. The inside of the ring, rather than being smooth, also looks like someone roughly dug it out to save on gold. When it came back from sizing, there were several deep scratches in the gold near the setting that looked like a tool slipped, and were not there prior to sizing. Now, the side of the diamond near one of the prongs has a crack. It’s not dirt, it’s not a chip, it’s a horizontal crack. I’m so sad right now. He paid a lot for this ring, and I haven’t complained to my husband too much about the workmanship, because it’s not his fault, but we’ll definitely be paying these shysters a visit, after visiting another reputable jeweler, and if not fully satisfied, we’ll see them in court.

Long story short, the gold double happiness symbol fell off my jade pendant. It was a wedding present and I went to a different store to get the symbol placed back on. The first jeweler did not ask me what the symbol should look like and unfortunately glued the symbol upside down. I went to another store to see if there was a way to fix the jade, but they said it was too delicate to fix. I went to Diamond Jim’s and was greeted by 2 friendly gentleman who listened to my concerns and they provided me with the best option to fix the issue. Since the symbol was glued on, they offered to resolder the jump ring on the other side so when I wore the necklace, the symbol would be correctly shown. Today, I got my pendant just like it should and did not see any imperfections. The cost was extremely reasonable and the work was perfect!

I am so grateful for this business who had the expertise to fix such a precious jade pendant for me. If I have any other jewelry concerns or want to buy any new items, I will definitely frequent this store. The gentleman today told me they even make custom jewelry and they had a large selection of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and watches.

They can do the impossible I had a hallow Jesus piece and 3 well known jewelry stores in phx turned me down rudely. Miguel the jeweler at Maya said no problem. Carlos gave me a decent price and added engraving for me as a courtesy. The whole staff there is humble and know how to treat customers.

I have came to Maya’s Gold a couple of times over the past couple of years. Their staff is always welcoming and courteous. No high pressure sales and always showing me various options for my price range. I have had some repairs done on jewelry and their estimates are always accurate. I am sorry to say I would not recommend this place to get your ring fitted or a stone placed. The main reason my fiancée chose to go here is they were the only ones who had a jeweler on the specific weekday he needed to go. The jeweler who set my stone and resized it did a horrible job. One of the prongs is bent and this caused it to be a lot closer to the other prong from a birds eye view. After the diamond was placed in the setting, one of the prongs had some black marks on it. My fiancée had taken it back after we noticed the black marks and they claimed it was fine and steamed it. Yet they are still on their and it’s not fine. Lastly, they resized it and it is definitely not the size we asked for as it is much too big now. The metal that was used is definitely not the same as you can distinctly see the metal that was added looks different from the rest of the ring. I’m so disappointed in this whole experience and would highly recommend you not get your ring sized or diamond set here! At this point I wish we could just have a refund because they have lost my trust. I will be taking it somewhere else to see if they can fix these issues.

Bad customer service from the start to the end! Not greeted both times we visited.
Paid for wife’s wedding ring to be sized down. After doing so ring was still too big so she went in by herself to size it down more. Was not told we would have to pay $150 again to fix issue. Was told it was on receipt and sorry they didn’t verbalize it.

They have some beautiful pieces there but I will never be back nor would I recommend any loved ones to shop here based on how they charge their customers. I’ve had a lot of mutuals follow and post them on ig so I went in to get my son a bracelet – picked a few different options and got the price for all. I ended up getting a 14k one that cost 900+. I thought it was a little crazy considering I just bought my niece a similar one a month ago for 500 less but it was for his birthday so I was like okay… upon picking up the next day I saw the same one in my size (2x the size of his) & asked the price.. the lady told me that one was only $450 which confused me because it was more gold? How could it be almost 500 less than the baby one. When I asked and pointed out that the adult one is more gold why would it be so much cheaper she said they up charge for kids jewelry. I get all my nieces and nephews gold pieces for their birthdays and never heard of a “kid up charge”. Ridiculous. Highly recommend going to Miranda Grills in Scottsdale instead. Got a custom chain for me and my son and he did not charge more for my babies piece. Should’ve had him make the bracelets as well.

This place is the best jeweler in town! I bought a wedding ring out of the country that I wanted to have engraved. When I got to phoenix I took it to an “engraving shop” who had it for over three weeks before telling me they could not do the engraving. In a panic, I went to Yvettes jewelry to ask about custom engraving since my wedding was two weeks away. All of the associates here were so nice and friendly. They reassured me they would have no problem doing the engraving in less than one week and for a very reasonable price. The process was so quick and easy compared to the other store I had previously taken the ring too. And, they even had it done earlier than the date they originally told me. They really helped make a very stressful time so much easier for me and that means so much! Bonus, I got to check out some of the gold jewelery they had here while waiting and they have a huge selection of very beautiful pieces! They will for sure be my go to for any future jewelry needs and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks so much again!

I took a family heirloom ring in for repair to replace a tiny missing diamond. They found several loose stones and fixed those as well. The repairs were done before the estimated time frame and the ring looks beautiful. Would highly recommend Ganem Jewelers.

Jackie at Ganem was super helpful with our little request to have a watch battery replaced, and my wedding ring cleaned. No pressure sales… but then we saw the estate sale and she helped us find the perfect necklace for my birthday!

10 out of 10 for cost & experience. I took my mother’s wedding rings to a big name jewelry to have sized and soldered. They told me there was over $2,000 in damage and it would be better to rip the rings apart and put into a new setting. My friend recommended Ganem. She said her parents got their wedding bands there, they were a family business and were trustworthy. My husband and I met with Jackie Kreuz at Ganem and didn’t mention our previous experience. Jackie was professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. After speaking with her colleagues she came back with an estimate of a 1/4 of the price of the other jeweler. We were in shock. We then told her what the other jeweler had said and she was in shock. She said there was minimal damage and the thought of tearing apart my mother’s rings appalled her. A week later we returned to find my mother’s rings as beautiful as they were when my mother married my father over 65 years ago. I started crying. I will always be grateful to Jackie and Ganem and we will recommend them to everyone.

I went in for a repair on a gold chain. I was greeted by Catherine who looked at the chain and recommended the necessary repair. In addition Ganem Jewelers went over and above to find an exact match for a beloved pair of earrings.
