Thunderbird Automotive Specialists really came through for me today. I’ve been without AC in my car for a while, and with this Arizona heat, it was becoming unbearable. I called around to a few places and most of them wanted to charge over $100 just to check it. These gentleman checked it for free. They found a major leak in my AC line and explained everything clearly. The fix was going to be expensive, and when I tried to finance it, I was denied. I thought I was just going to have to deal with the heat and keep struggling. But they worked with me and helped me find a solution. Now my AC is working again and my family and I can drive comfortably and safely. They got everything done right when they said they would and were honest the whole way through. I’m so grateful. Honest mechanics are hard to find, but this place is the real deal. Highly recommend!!! Thank you so much!

I got a car from Courtesy Chevrolet and used to bring it there whenever it needed something done and I had some issues with them so I ended up doing some research and found this place and I won't go anywhere else now. They always do a good job and let you know what's going on and cost ahead of time and have even called in the middle of it to let me know if there would be any extra charges. Also let me know that I could wait for certain things I was worried about instead of just trying to get money. My bf needed work done on his truck a few months ago and the place was trying to charge 125$ an hour just to see what the problem was and I called Thunderbird it was a 99$ flat fee and we drove straight there and now he doesn't go anywhere else either. Highly recommend!!

Recently had my vehicle overheat on the highway, I limped it into Thunderbird Automotive and was immediately impressed by the thoughtful and honest approach from Tyler, letting me that they were really busy so it might be a day or two before they could get to it. He called early the next day and while the news wasn't great, they were always honest, practical and accommodating. The prices were absolutely reasonable and upfront. Everyone that I dealt with was professional yet kind and knowledgeable. I highly highly recommend this auto repair company and will be returning in the future.

I had intermittent battery light on dash and was on a long distance road trip to Mayo Clinic pulling our trailer. I went to two separate places and had checks done, both said my starter was bad and alternator as well. My truck is an old diesel but I maintain it well. I knew the starter was 19 yrs old, alternator almost 10 yrs old. I called around asking about cost and time frame as we were on a schedule. Most could not promise they could take care of repair in a short time frame. I spoke to Jorden at Thunderbird Automotive Specialists and he said he felt they could take care of it. I took it in on Wednesday afternoon and they had me back on the road by the end of the next day! Yes I do feel they are on the high end price wise but I was told the cost up front, they used OME parts, got the work done sooner than expected and truck runs great. Happy customer

I appreciate Jacob and the rest of the staff for the work they recently completed. I'm glad I entrusted them with the repair of my vehicle. I'm a little wary of repair shops since I haven't had the best experience in the past, but I think I'll be happy with Thunderbird Auto Specialists. Even the uber driver who picked me up, using the complementary service, said he’s heard nothing but wonderful things from the various customers he has picked up on numerous occasions.
