Big O Tires

I took my Dodge Dakota to a different location and had an unsatisfactory experience. When I decided to reach out to the Big O Tires at 7th St, they listened to my concerns, and did a full inspection on my vehicle. After the inspection, Julian took me to my vehicle and literally showed me what needed fixed. He validated all of my concerns, as well as explaining what would the vehicle would need moving forward. I am so glad that I made the decision to have the vehicle checked by him instead of opting for a different company. I now feel like a valued customer and can be sure of the safety of myself and my vehicle

Since purchasing my newer vehicle two years ago, I started going to Big O on 7th St and Bethany Home Rd. They were so kind, thoughtful and worked with me, since I was on a widow's budget and just wanting to do my best for my car. First impressions matter. I've been bringing Betty (my car) here ever since. Oil changes, rotations, alignments, etc They are my go to place for my cars care, and peace of mind to me. Thank you for watching out for me.

They fixed an issue I’d been having with my clutch and it’s running great now. I have a 90s Tacoma and they were able to get all the parts. My key broke and they replaced it with no charge. This has been one of my better mechanic experiences. We take all our vehicles now!

I have had a great experience every time I come. They never pressure me and do a good job prioritizing recommendations. They have gotten my car done the same day every time. I feel confident in their technicians and the work they perform. Plus very few shops are open 7 days a week.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I took both my car and my boyfriend’s car here for oil changes because every other place was booked on Sunday. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a mistake. Shortly after we left, both cars began leaking oil. We brought them back, and while they claimed to have fixed the issue, it seemed like a temporary solution at best. They also recommended $2,100 worth of additional repairs on my boyfriend’s car, which ended up causing more problems. We had to return over 10 times, and ultimately, my boyfriend’s car stalled on the freeway due to a lack of oil, leading to a total loss. When we reached out for help, they informed us that there was nothing they could do. As for my car, I brought it back again for the oil leak, and they told me there was a small crack in the oil pan and someone sealed with blue sealant over the drain plug, suggesting it was pre-existing. This explanation didn’t seem right given the timing of the issue. I cannot in good faith recommend this place for anything beyond tires if that . I will be seeking further action and pursuing this in small claims court. I strongly advise caution to anyone considering their services. I am seriously, not wanting to complain, but Jesus these people will rob. And not take accountability for anything that they did to your car !

Taylor was amazing!!! He helped my daughter get a set of tires for her car, an alignment and gave her an oil change free of charge. I also purchased 2 tires for my own vehicle, got an alignment and given a voucher for a free oil change. Amazing customer service, great price, great employees. I will definitely be back for any future tire, oil changes! Thanks again!!

I went into this Big O location for a simple oil change, and the staff told me my brakes were bad and urgently needed replacement for "safety reasons." They showed me a color stick gauge, claiming the fronts were in the red zone and the rears in the yellow. Out of fear, I purchased and installed new brake pads. Later, my trusted mechanic inspected everything and confirmed the brakes were still in excellent condition and nowhere near needing replacement. He even gave me the original pads back — I’ve included photos here for proof. When I called the shop to follow up, the same staff member admitted he didn’t have the measurements for the pads, promised to check the computer, and never called back. This is a clear example of fear-based upselling and dishonesty. Because of their tactics, I wasted money on brakes I didn’t need — money that should have gone toward the tires I actually need. Customers deserve transparency and integrity, not scare tactics. Edited to add a response to owner: The shop responded claiming this was a "mix-up," but that doesn’t match my experience. I was told directly my brakes were unsafe and urgently needed replacement, shown a color stick as "proof," and pressured with the word "safety." Out of fear, I purchased and installed new brake pads — only to later confirm with my mechanic (and photos) that they were still in excellent condition. Instead of offering to make this right, the shop brushed it off as crossed notes. That’s not accountability. Customers deserve honesty and real measurements, not fear tactics and excuses.
