Since my case was in Phoenix, I specifically wanted someone experienced with the Phoenix courts - not someone from another town or state. Mr. Barber fit that requirement nicely. After meeting in person, I found him to be personable, professional, and (most importantly) competent. I hired him to handle 2 matters that normally take 60 to 90 days to complete. He handled both *successfully* in under 5 weeks and at a price that was very fair and reasonable. I could not be happier.

Bretton helped me with the GCE process. I had hired & fired another attorney before Bretton & luckily got all my money back. I’ve had free consultations and looked around the valley using Safari, Google maps etc. trying to find the best GCE attorney at a reasonable price. I had attorneys trying to get my conviction set aside, sealed, expunged, it was a weed conviction from 1998. I had to tell them all I wanted was a GCE, almost always they would argue with me about it. This was after firing an attorney tt DPS trying to get a GCE on my own. It’s a long process if you don’t know what you’re doing so I’d highly recommend Bretton. He knew my journey and understood that that’s all I wanted & he helped me tremendously I was having trouble doing it all on my own and I learned so much. If you get a DPS denial letter then you’re next step is to get a Good Cause Exception. Don’t let these attorneys bully you around and charge you for things like set aside, expungement etc. If you need a Level 1 clearance card then those other things mentioned will help but you need a GCE imho. And getting a weed conviction expunged takes an hour to do on the internet here in Arizona so why would you even hire an attorney for that? You can do that at take chances with the courts for an expungement imho. Well I hope this helps and Bretton is the real deal he’s a very seasoned, knowledgeable, no nonsense, professional.
