When we received an attorney Sean Coll something just didn’t sit right he never fully answered any questions and just repeated talking points over again. He gave my partner who was faced with charges a range he could expect if we accepted a plea deal and he ended up with nowhere near that time. My partner received almost double time and had to accept a plea deal sent by the other party with no negotiation. Then Sean said how notorious the bureau is for being unwilling to work with defendants. If that’s true then why would he even take the case? He knew the bureau and the details of the case from the beginning.

My partner spent over $50k on credit cards to pay for an outcome we could have received on our own. Our daughter could have use that to invest in her future since she will be losing her father. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the handling of my partners case. Let this serve as a warning to others. This place doesn’t fight for you. They just want your money.

Since my case was in Phoenix, I specifically wanted someone experienced with the Phoenix courts – not someone from another town or state. Mr. Barber fit that requirement nicely. Bretton helped me with the GCE process. I had hired & fired another attorney before Bretton & luckily got all my money back. I’ve had free consultations and looked around the valley using Safari, Google maps etc. trying to find the best GCE attorney at a reasonable price. I had attorneys trying to get my conviction set aside, sealed, expunged, it was a weed conviction from 1998. I had to tell them all I wanted was a GCE, almost always they would argue with me about it. This was after firing an attorney tt DPS trying to get a GCE on my own. It’s a long process if you don’t know what you’re doing so I’d highly recommend Bretton. He knew my journey and understood that that’s all I wanted & he helped me tremendously I was having trouble doing it all on my own and I learned so much. If you get a DPS denial letter then you’re next step is to get a Good Cause Exception. Don’t let these attorneys bully you around and charge you for things like set aside, expungement etc. If you need a Level 1 clearance card then those other things mentioned will help but you need a GCE imho. And getting a weed conviction expunged takes an hour to do on the internet here in Arizona so why would you even hire an attorney for that? You can do that at take chances with the courts for an expungement imho. Well I hope this helps and Bretton is the real deal he’s a very seasoned, knowledgeable, no nonsense, professional. He doesn’t dilly dally around and I don’t either.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring a lawyer from a DUI law group based in Phoenix, Arizona, and sadly, my experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. Jack and Sam did an amazing job for me, I had hired Suzuki Law firm originally to represent me.
