Penske Racing Museum

The museum was cool for racing enthusiasts. It’s small, can get through quickly, but the best part? It’s nestled in the midst of the Lamborghini, Maserati, Bentley, etc. dealerships. LOL. My husband and boys were like kids in a candy store. My girls even seemed to be intrigued with the beauty of these cars. The staff didn’t seem to mind us wandering through the lot and showroom to gawk and appreciate what they were selling. Definitely enjoyed our time there.

Super nice surprise finding this in Scottsdale AZ. To top it off, IT'S FREE. Looking at those beautiful cars that made raceing history from different years and drivers. Not a very big museum, but when you look, that it's all from the one team. That is impressive in so many ways.

This place is AWESOME (and free)! I’ve wanted to go here so bad and I finally got the chance. There’s plenty of: - History - Legacy - Cool cars And last but not least, COOL CARS. My favorite was 1973 Donohue’s Porsche, I wish its engine was displayed tho. Still, amazing location, there’s plenty of dealerships that you can take a look around and the Ferrari dealer right beside it lets you go there and check some really interesting Spyders. There was a random Ferrari Dino and 512 Dino that were looking pristine.

Really neat thing to unexpectedly find outside of the Motorsports hubs of Charlotte and Indianapolis. Quick 10-15 minutes inside the ground floor will show you the cars, with a cafe and trophies upstairs. Afterwards, browse the adjacent dealerships for cars you can only dream of driving.

My first stop today was to visit the Penske Racing Museum. It was free. It is located between a Maserati dealership and a Bentley dealership. Also on the same strip are Ferrari, Aston Martin, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Range Rover, etc. The museum features at least 12 Penske Team cars that won Indy 500 or other major races. The receptionist invited me to visit the other dealerships named when I was done, but I had an agenda to keep.

Neat museum of racecars sandwiched between high end car dealerships. It's free admission also and when you're done you can wander around the lot looking at Ferraris, Bentleys, and Lamborghinis. Pretty awesome.
