I used to work here back when I was in high school and so much has changed (in a good way). My fiancé and I too our daughter (toddler) here for her to explore. We bought tickets online a week prior (pricy given the play time is for our toddler not us adults) , showed up, scanned our tickets and were in within a few minutes. Everything was great, but for sure was busy. I wish there were days where your ticket reserves time slots as we could not enjoy certain areas having too many kids not sharing. Due to how busy it was, our daughter could not enjoy all rooms. She was able to play in the toddler room, art room, and a bit in the grocery store. Other rooms were too busy, hot, and kids not letting her play in the areas they were taking over. Plus side was that the coffee was delicious in the cafeteria and good food options

A little pricey, but a great place to keep the kids active indoors. The gigantic play structure reminds me of the City Museum in St Louis Mo (another excellent museum). Kids spent a lot of time in the grocery store and kitchen area.

Absolutely wonderful place for kids, especially elementary years. They have a variety of exhibits and experiences and having done some backend work with them, I know firsthand how much thought and care goes into making it a rich experience for the children as well as their caregivers. I especially appreciate their creative repurposing of used/discarded items (eg: CDs). Pictures don’t do justice, it’s a place to be explored

Great for kiddos of all ages! Even parents and grandparents can have a blast! I have been taking my grandson here for years. He always has so much fun. Arts and crafts, play grocery shopping and play cooking, climbing, racing cars, even driving an old mail truck!

We loved having our annual membership here. I wish this place was closer to our house. It’s 30 minutes from us, but we still made it 6 or 7 times last year so it was definitely worth while. If you’re a stay at home parent and live 30 minutes away it’s a life saver for days where you don’t know how to entertain the kids. Plenty of rooms to explore with quiet spaces and craft rooms. There’s a room for younger kids that was perfect for our toddler to explore more safely and not get trampled on busy days. They have events for a lot of the holidays too. They have a dine in cafe with limited food options, but we also always packed a lunch for our son. It’s downtown so in theory you could leave to eat and come back but we never did that. Their no adults in the stairway without a kid rule and other similar rules help to keep the kids safe. Highly recommend their pass or just visiting for 1-4 hours in a day. We discontinued our pass when construction led to an hour commute each way, but I’m considering taking our son back now it’s subsided. Perfect for kids ages 2 through 7.

I planned an event at The Children's Museum, and it is one of the most unique venues I have ever worked with. The sky is the limit on what is possible at this venue. The event team is incredible to work with as well, Kelley, Shyla and Isaiah were a huge part of my event's success and couldn't have done it without them. Highly recommend!

The children’s museum is an absolute gem! It’s bustling with activity, but the crowd size feels just right for the space, making it enjoyable rather than overwhelming. Spread across three floors, the museum offers a fantastic variety of unique exhibits and interactive experiences that keep kids engaged for hours. There’s something for every interest here: art classes, climbing areas, cooking sessions (which my kids absolutely adore), and even a magical bubble zone that sparks endless fun. The diversity of activities ensures that children can explore different skills and interests in a vibrant, hands-on environment. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during the busy summer months, as the coveted spots fill up quickly. However, there are several electric vehicle chargers available, and while they do tend to fill up, they’re often accessible if you arrive early or plan ahead. One of the standout features is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. There’s a good number of staff members on every floor and in each area, which adds to the smooth and safe experience for families. It’s also wonderful to see that the children who visit tend to be well-behaved and play together harmoniously, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Overall, this museum is a fantastic destination for families looking for a fun, educational, and interactive outing. Highly recommended!
