Red Roof Inn Phoenix - Midtown

If you hate your life, book this place. If I could give fewer stars, I would. If I were an undercover auditor, they would have failed inspection. The images online are superior to what you get in person. The reception area, they are distracted with side conversations. Broken/ disconnected phone. I informed them about it, they said someone would come and fix it, no one has. Raggedy sheets and towels...glad I brought my own towels and rags because there was hair on the towels. The toilet had no cover, so be careful. Found a bed bug in a shirt I had left on the bed, tried to get it off, it clung for its life. Finally got it off and killed it. Will be laundering EVERYTHING prior to setting foot back in my house. If you have small kids I don't recommend bringing them here. This place is riddled with women of the night, which isn't a problem, but they're definitely trying to get clients in the day with their attire and actions and your kids don't need to see that. In the early morning someone kept tapping on my window and door. That could have been a lost person, but I think not. In all my years of traveling with family, this franchise at this specific location has been the only place where this has happened. Did I mention the constant noise? Loud careless neighbors....just loud to be loud. Could not sleep right away. At 4 in the morning, someone was tapping on my window, then my door. Had to yell at them to go away. Left the premises twice, upon returning my door key DID NOT WORK. Had to go to the front office to get it reactivated each time. Scary part is they simply reactivated it and apologized without asking for me to AT LEAST CONFIRM THE NAME/NUMBER associated with the room number. They just asked, "What room are you in?" So in short, you get what you pay for. Poor customer service, inadequate facilities, bed bugs, and your quintessential wafts of weed and debauchery. If your main concern is price over any other discomfort, then this is your place.

Arrived and the security gate was broken. The vending machine room was locked. The environment felt completely unsafe, I cannot stress this enough. My room absolutely stunk of cigarettes, it was nauseating. Looked nothing like the photos. This location clearly needs a lot of work on many levels. So disappointed that I wasted my money. I will likely never stay at a Red Roof Inn again. Please do better.

To all customers and employees I stay at the midtown redroof inn in Phoenix Arizona, it was the most discussing hotel I have ever been in, only reason I was there was to be closer to family I was visiting. First off the staff is un-courteous and rude no customer service skills at all, there are homeless and loitering all over the establishment constant knocking on your room door from someone looking for someone who is in the room you are occupying. There is no security and your safety is most definitely at risk, I do not recommend any families with children of any age to ever stop there. This hotel should be condemned immediately. Security gate is a waste of time because the other gate is constantly open for whoever to enter property. I showered this morning placed down the shower match that was supplied and it had a long black hair on it, I am an African-American male and I am bald, I have video proof if anyone needs to see it. Just stay away from this establishment for your health and safety.

I really enjoyed my stay here especially since i was on a budget, the room was decent and the shower worked, mind you i have stayed in worse places, this place is a good choice for anybody on a budget and traveling through. I will stay here again if I come through. Staff were friendly and nice, security was around. So I felt safe and i slept good.

everyone that works here are amazing ..place is kept up on outside there hard work pays off...for sure love the management always helping out.and security always makes me feel safe.'ve been around for 10 years + and they have made so much progress.love all the house keepers they are always sweethearts.i enjoy this place and recommend it for sure just love love midtown red roof they rock!!!miss red truck security guard though... we always call him red..have not seen him .hope all is well ...

I share some of the same views as some of the persons who stayed here. I was also fooled by the pictures online. The room and bed did smell like cigarettes. I couldn't sleep with all the noise from the people upstairs and outside my windows. Nonetheless, I do appreciate that they were able to accommodate us.

I do not recommend going there The security guard was being weird. He was looking at my boyfriend up and down. Not only that they keep sending people to our room. They didn’t do it ones but twice. I was getting scared because we didn’t know who was trying to get to our room. Again I do not recommend be careful out here
