E-Z 8 Motel Phoenix

I typically don’t review hotels or motels based on appearance, but I was very pleased with my stay here, especially given the excellent rate I received. The room was spacious, spotless, and—more importantly in the 110° weather—the air conditioning kept it perfectly cool. The staff also provided excellent customer service. Upon arrival, I had an issue with the door knob, but after notifying the front desk, maintenance arrived right away and resolved the problem quickly. Overall, a great value, a comfortable stay, and service that went above and beyond expectations.

I have stayed here several times. Ms Lisa and her staff are great. Very understanding and it's safe. Get through your stay, mind your business and you're good. Security is constant and pets are welcomed. Not the Marriott or Hilton. But safe and reasonable for the price.

If you looking for stuff who will go over and beyond for your needs, this is the place. Rooms are very affordable and comfortable! Nothing fancy, but being a truck driver, and needing a good night sleep not worrying about your semi, or how to get to and from your room, THIS IS PERFECT. I love the personal attention the stuff here is giving not just to me, but everyone coming into the lobby. Oh, and the smell in the main office makes you want to stay even longer ❤️

We came during a power outage during the monsoon. The front desk clerk was so helpful and made renting a room as seemless as possible. She was very polite and worked quickly, which I appreciated I was melting by the time I got to the motel. My room wasn't glamour but it was comfortable and the air conditioning was nice and chilly. The only complaint I have is that it smelled like cigarettes so badly when I woke up I couldn't stop coughing. I don't smoke and I have sensitivity to smoke (I've never been the same since COVID-19)so it was very irritating to me but the value is there for sure! There is a vending room, laundry and pool. It's so "retro" haha It's right off the freeway.

Unsafe, unsanitary, rude staff. I checked in, went up to my room, and immediately realized the deadbolt doesn't work and the bathtub was running and couldn't be turned off. It's more than just a trickle, about a pint every 15 seconds. I requested another room and was told that a lot of the doors had deadbolts that don't work, so if they gave me another room it would likely be the same. I told them I to give me another one and I'd hope for the best. The next room had a working deadbolt but no refrigerator. I went back downstairs and told them I booked a room with a fridge because I have medication that needs to be refrigerated. The woman at the window said I could go back to the first room if I wanted, but that she wouldn't change it again and they don't give refunds. I had to take the one with no secure lock and barricade the door. I'll be staying just long enough to refreeze my ice packs and get a few hours of sleep and drive the rest of the night instead of staying until morning.

This is my number 1 choice for a budget friendly hotel !! I have stayed here about 3 weeks total ! They keep it quiet, and don't let guests party and have a bunch of visitors all night like other places I've stayed. Lisa and Kenny and his twin brother at 7-11 are friendly,helpful and accommodating!! Great place!! I recommend!!

The non smoking rooms smell strongly of smoke. The front desk gave us another room but not much better. The carpet has holes and very much in need of an update. Not very clean.
