The miracle Ear at Tatum and Bell was incredible. Joanne Pilcher was the best audiologist I’ve ever had. She was so knowledgeable and compassionate. She took time. She explained to me why good hearing was so important and how it could change my life then, once I had the hearing test, she explained the hearing aids to me the differences what they could do for me then we tried on a pair and she adjusted it, and it was like the whole world was opened up to me. I could not believe Everything I could hear just to begin with that’s without even making them right specifically for me. It was an incredible experience.

We had such a great experience at Miracle-Ear thanks to Joanne and Hallie. They were incredibly helpful and patient with my mom as she got fitted for her new hearing aids. Joanne took the time to thoroughly explain not just how the devices work, but why they’re so important for overall brain health. She helped both of us understand how proper hearing can actually reduce the risk of dementia, which was something we hadn’t realized before. Hallie was also warm and supportive every step of the way. I had my appointment today and I’ve had a few tests done before but my experience today with Joann was incredible and one of a kind!! She taught me how the ear and hearing works as well as the loss of it. She gave me so much hope today, I’m truly grateful for her, this is definitely her gift to others. I highly recommend her!

We ask for an appointment to have our hearing checked. We are in our 80s and have not had a hearing tests before. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr Slepak was very knowledgeable and completed our hearing tests. We would greatly recommend this business.

Amanda was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and friendly. She was informative and made me feel very comfortable.

I was called from the waiting room promptly and treated more than courteously while I waited. The audiologist and her shadow reviewed my history and asked additional questions before doing the diagnostic evaluation. They then reviewed it with me and patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions and concerns. The entire visit reflected professionalism and caring on the part of everyone I came into contact with.

My experience was vastly better than my experience in California. There is a ramp for disabled people to get an exam.
At least three tests of one’s hearing mean a better understanding of one’s hearing and how to work with one’s hearing loss. Add to that a pleasant, supportive, understanding audiologist and that was my experience.

I’ve been suffering with progressive hearing loss since slightly after my discharge from the army in 93. I guess when you get when you’re in the Infantry and you’re a CO driver. But I’ve had two previous tests at banners East valley Hearing clinic. So when I need to go get a retested I was provided with this location. I have to admit they have a very speedy process. They also come across as very skilled. The person who tested me did an awesome job much better than the service connected hearing audiologist for the VA. After the test I met with the doctor. I explained with the background would have taken place previously told her that I wanted to check loss. She said hearing loss is not only just the actual loss of sound but also the actual ability to decipher what is being said. that was the answer. I want to thank you very much for explaining the loss and my ability to recognize and the ability to tell what is being said I never knew that was such a big player or has more seemed to become more pronounced and affected my hearing more negatively.
She’s asking for an MRI to be done so she can determine if there’s some kind of tumor like gross that are on the end of my nerves in my ear. If those aren’t present then she said I’d be a good candidate for what’s called a colloquial ear. Have to think about that one a little. But I don’t really see any downside to having one implanted.

And back to my wife is talking s*** in the other room and I can’t normally hear her understand now I’ll be able to get her before she even knows it.

Soon as I get out of training doc I’ll go ahead and get that the MRI done my training is not done until the middle of July I’ll talk to you then.

Again very professional group all seem very skilled their process was quick her presentation was to the point and made a lot of sense.

I have going to AZ Hearing Center since 2009 when I was having issues with my right ear. At the time I was being seen by Dr Mark Syms. I recently been having issues with wax buildup & Dr Vanderbeek has been helping me with this. She is wonderful along with the whole office staff

Dr VanderBeek is very thorough and knowledgeable. She is very good at explaining the mechanism of various symptoms and also doesn’t disregard my prior Lyme and Bartonella infections that she says can cause some of my hearing issues. I highly recommend her to anyone experiencing hearing loss or other issues.

This review has nothing to do with the professionalism, the doctor nor the staff, but it does with the policy. This is a PAPERLESS facility that works, makes appointments and answers questions only via the portal or making an actual appointment. If you are the patient or family or friend of someone who is single and unable to navigate a computer or who is unable to read and write, along with their hearing disability, you will be wasting this offices time and your own…unless there is a family member or friend who is willing to be a designated person and committed for one full year to be with the patient at every appointment and the one to be assigned to inform others of answers to questions. No appt will be made unless you go on the portal. No questions will be answered unless you make an appointment. And in the mandatory seminar (which is good and informative), you will learn that if you cannot abide by the mandatory policies, “this is not the right place for you.” I am glad they are honest about this, but by this time you have had 1 appt with doctor and 2 appointments with audiologist to find out you qualify for cochlear implant. The good thing is this is the only office you will need to deal with. However, for my friend who is single, elderly, living alone, illiterate due to a learning disability and has gone deaf because of a bad experience with the flu, precious time for both patient, friend and doctors office has been wasted (in the sense of proceeding with the process or surgery). If you meet all the other requirements, you are probably going to do well. But If you fit in the category of my friend, I would suggest you find another medical team to be referred to

No one asked me what I needed to use hearing aids for (I rarely leave home) and they set me up with top of the line (which I didn’t need) and charged $8,000. I paid half ($4,000). Because I’m on Social Security, I couldn’t justify paying the $8,000 so I called them the next morning to cancel. They were agreeable to cancel but charged me $1500 to cancel. Also they later charged Medicare for “services”. Found out through a different company that the hearing aids they were trying to sell me would not work because I needed in-ear. I’m now out $1500 and still don’t have hearing aids.

The Doctor was excellent. Very nice, professional, she was better than my original Doctor who fitted me for my hearing aid. Every time I wore my hearing aids I’d have blood and a sore in one of my ears. That has been completely eliminated with this Doctor.

If I could give them no stars I would. I’m very disappointed with them and had I known what I know now I would’ve gone somewhere else. Initially they were very helpful in getting my mother hearing aids, but once we purchased them, there was absolutely no customer service or support. They never even had the common courtesy to return any of my many calls. You pay all this money and if you need help with them you are out of luck. Very disappointing.

HearUSA is do wonderful very professional but so open and friendly. The front office is so friendly and very helpful. Got first hearing test and hearing aids here loved the service

I met with Dr Elissa Kawamoto for a my requested follow up appt yesterday so that I could ask several questions I had regarding my new hearing aids. Dr. Kawamoto listened to my various questions with great patience and provided answers that helped me better understand how to care for my hearing aids, how best to charge them and gave me information that has made me feel even more comfortable with my new aids. A big thanks to Dr. Kawamoto.

Absolutely amazing! We got my mom’s hearing aids from HearUSA and few years back. Not only were they perfect from the start, the service they have provided since we got them have been fabulous! Thank you HearUSA for being better than I can begin to describe!

I recently bought hearing aids from HearUSA. The office I visited was at the store at 3rd Street and Bell Road across the street from Target. The audiologist was extremely professional and gave me a very thorough hearing test and then discussed the results. I ordered the aids on my computer at home and they were sent to the same office. Yesterday, I was fitted with the aids already set up to meet my hearing needs. They are so comfortable and work quite well. I would recommend this company and this office in particular because the entire experience was pleasant and stress-free.

Excellent service and care. Front desk person Trush is excellent. Audiologist Dr Kawamoto is excellent and takes time to explain everything. New Allure hearing aids replaced older ones.

Picked up my truck for an alarm install today and it came out great. Ryan got me a good deal. Joel walked me through my alarm and was very thorough. The technician Nick was also very helpful in answering my questions. The alarm works perfectly. Thank you guys for hooking my truck up.

There seemed to be a wide selection of products, though i am not sure compared to other places, as I knew exactly what I was looking for when I came in. The person who assisted me was easy to work with and had more than enough knowledge to answer my questions.

The only complaint i have is they are only open bankers hours, it would be nice if they were open later or on the weekend.

I got a Compustar remote system installed by them. Had to set up an appointment and car was done within 4-5 hours. They did a super clean job, everything looks professional and remote start is flawless . Thank you once again guys

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Danielle as my audiologist. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her patients. From the first appointment, she made me feel comfortable and listened carefully to all of my concerns. She explained everything clearly and patiently, making sure I understood every step of the process.

Had to get a hearing test done for a procedure I need later. Have never had my hearing tested professionally before this but had a phenomenal experience. I was referred to a different business location with Hearinglife but there were no appointments available. I was able to book online the day before with HearingLife of Phoenix Bell AZ and I am glad! I was able to get in before my procedure and Danielle was awesome as they explained my results and answered all of my questions!

Took the hubby here few days ago and the staff was super nice. Hes very nervous around drs and he was very comfortable. Great team at HearingLife. 10 outta 10, I recommend.

I was a little hesitant to get hearing aids, having grown up with my dad and other family members wearing them, and I was worried because I wear glasses. But Lindsay was amazing! She explained everything so clearly and was a joy to talk with. She helped me choose the best hearing aids for me. I’ve had them for almost a week now and they are so comfortable, I sometimes forget I’m wearing them. I’m able to hear so much better and the hearing aids don’t cause any issues with my glasses. You can’t even tell I’m wearing them unless you’re standing behind me (I have short hair). Everyone I have spoken to at Innovative Hearing has been wonderful. I took my old Rega planar 1 turntable in to get calibrated on a different stylus. Staff was very friendly and very knowledge. He was able to diagnose what the issue was and get me back in working order. I cannot thank them enough!

Best experience at a business I’ve had in a long time, had bought a cartridge elsewhere and didn’t have the knowledge to swap it myself. They swapped it in about 10 min and charged me an amazing price. Such nice guys too! Will def be coming back here for all my hifi needs in the future!

I stopped by Arizona Hi-Fi yesterday to upgrade my turntable cartridge and everything about my experience there was great! Glen was an absolute pleasure to do business with and he gave me some great advice. I ended up getting a 2m bronze cartridge and I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend going to Arizona Hi-Fi for all of your turntable and audio needs.

I reached out via email about buying a new turntable cartridge and received a speedy and nice response. Glen was knowledgeable and welcoming when I came into the store to purchase the cartridge and install it for me. He even let me play some music on the very nice hi-fi speakers they had in there. I am very grateful for the experience as I am in the intermediate/beginner hi-fi stage of my life.

I’d recommend this store for anyone interested in hi-fi, beginner to expert.

This place and Glenn are amazing. I went in to buy a turn table and realized quickly I was there buying one of the cheaper things in the store. There was absolutely zero pressure to buy anything, I got the show and tell experience in the back listening room. I ended up buying the turn table and ended up getting it cheaper than I could have on Amazon to boot. I even got professional setup on it with an explanation of all the features and how it works.

They’re also a local first Arizona member which is cool.
