Sonoran Sky Assisted Living Care Home

My husband, Bob, was under the care of Sonoran Sky for about two years. This care home became his safe place as he suffered from Alzheimer's. The owners and staff were the most caring and professional people I have ever dealt with. I would absolutely recommend them for caring for your loved one.

My mom couldn’t have had a better care. I knew from the first time I sat down with Mary that this was the right place for Mom. She loved them and they loved her! She never complained about anything. When it was time for Hospice they complimented everything that the staff had already been doing. Thank you!

After several visits to various care home options in the Valley, we chose Sonoran Sky for my uncle, and he was very happy with our choice. From the moment we met Mary, we knew he would be well cared for. Her beautiful homes are designed with the residents needs in mind, are thoughtfully appointed, and very clean. The caring staff were wonderful and it was a relief to our family knowing my uncle was being so well looked after. We are grateful for all they've done to make his final home the best place for him.

In 2020 I needed to move my 95 yr old Mom from California to Arizona. To make matters worse we were locked down for Covid. I visited several assisted living homes but nothing felt right. I then went to Sonoran Sky and the minute I walked into Sonoran I knew Mom would be happy here. Mary, owner and Patricia, caretaker made my Mom feel so welcome. She was literally dying from not eating and once she arrived here she started eating. They make food from scratch and Mom loved it. There are not enough words to express the excellent care Mom received while at Sonoran Sky. I highly recommend it. Angie M.

Onboarding was pleasant and impressive. Mary took so much care of us and my mothers medication. For that, we are deeply grateful. The side of our 8-day stay that was not so pleasant was the financial and care aspect of my mothers stay at the home. My mother was 2 months into a stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis. She didn't have long by the time we brought her into the home. That said, she ate little to nothing, and most of her diet was ice chips. She really didn't need much and  required little attention until the last hours of her life. This home is/was not equipped to handle late stage cancer patients. Fortunate for the family, thevowners allowed our sister  to stay and assist my mother through each night and help with everything except medication. By this time she was on morphine which requires professional, routine administration so we don't find ourselves "chasing the pain". We needed morphine in the middle of the night and the home care was despondent and unresponsive. We consistently had to ring the help button to no avail. We'd seek out help by knocking on the door of the "aid worker" and didn't get an answer. It was so bad we even called the owner at 4am who also didn't answer. My mother was at the last hours of her life and we couldn't even get help. It was the most painful and stressful situation seeing our mother suffer while not getting help. My mother parished that morning at 7am on March 1st. We were out of the room by noon and had everything completely cleared out. We paid $6500 for the 8 day stay and respectfully asked for $3000 back considering the month just started and our lasting experience was horrible. Yes, we understand the terms of the contract, and the fact that once the month starts we get nothing back but, considering we were out right away, and didn't get what was expected, we'd receive some grace. The owners refused to give any grace. It was a bitter end

Highly professional and trustworthy. The facility takes great pride and effortless goes above and beyond to care for their residents.They gave quality care and I would recommend them to anyone looking to care for a loved one at home.
