To begin with, this approval process is a journey. My situation with my mother was a bit more complicated in that she was slightly over the allowed income and had a modest savings in her checking account. This required me to open two different types of Trusts. I would never have been able to do this on my own. Joanna helped me every step of the way. She guided me through all the forms and procedures. When I became overwhelmed, she was able to bring me back to the step by step process. She is VERY knowledgeable about ALTCS. Because of her knowledge and efficiency my application was approved on the first try. It does take time to gather all the documents and create the trusts. My journey was about 7 months. I cannot say enough about Joanna and the great job that she did for me and my mom during this very difficult time. Senior Planning has a winner with her.
