La Siena

As a professional in the senior care industry there are certain things I look for in a community setting. La Siena is lead by an Executive Director who is in touch with his entire team from housekeeping, dining and maintenance to his care and concierge team. He takes pride in doing what is best for his team and his residents. Deb, their Zest Director is also well connected to the residents and provides an atmosphere where activities are focused on interests and encourage socialization. Pam, who also works in the Zest department is dedicated to helping everyone stay active and engaged at a level that is comfortable for each individual. Sherri and her care team work hard to manage care plans and watch for any change of conditions. They are proactive and anticipate care needs for residents in Assisted Living. More impressive is that they always know the status of a resident who is is at the hospital or re-hab, and Jonathan, the ED often visits residents himself to check on their condition. The community is always clean, the team appears to work closely together and it is one of the most comfortable communities to spend time in. I personally have engaged with many residents who constantly compliment the entire team at La Siena. If you are looking for a senior living community that is more than bells and whistles, and want to experience a vibrant and supportive community, come see La Siena.

La Siena is a beautiful community. The residents and staff are friendly and welcoming. It has such a serene and homey feel to it. They offer a variety if activities and all day dining which is certainly a plus. I refer my clients to numerous communities and this is one that I would highly recommend.

We LOVE La Siena! My Dad moved in in July 2023 and even though it’s been a short time, I can honestly say that they have done a phenomenal job in providing services for my dad. Prior to moving to La Sienna he lived in his own home, and since he no longer drove, it was very difficult for him to be social with people. Now being at La Sienna, he is able to connect and do things with people and to be social once again! The food is outstanding and the staff are extremely kind and caring to those they serve. I would highly recommend this facility to others, you will not be disappointed to have your loved ones stay in this facility.

I toured this past Friday. I was greatly warmly and had a great tour experience with Mary the Sales Director. Being a former executive director and sales director it is important to highlight a great experience. Thank you to Mary and the La Siena team for making a memorable experience.

Do not send loved ones here! Our Mom lives here. It is very expensive and many residents feel as though they are trapped - once they move in, it is very difficult to change apartments or move out. Contrary to what the company portrays, expenses increase every single year. The quality of food and service has deteriorated dramatically over the past year. The Chef is unresponsive to, and dismissive of, criticism. At times meals, particularly breakfast, are so poorly prepared that they are inedible. It seems as though the corporate headquarters (SRG) has created an uncaring culture at this care facility.

Mary gave my family and me an excellent tour and answered all of our questions. La Siena is a beautiful place with many amenities. I especially liked the large, walk-in closets and many kitchen cabinets. I am just starting with my research on independent living homes, but La Siena is at the top of my list at the present. La Siena looks wonderful on the outside and there are good things to say about it. Nikki is a gem and she keeps things hoppin. But if there is something awry, you’re just stuck. Moving is hard under the best circumstances; no one wants to move around in senior living. The dining room is inviting but its management is appalling. SRG needs to bite the bullet and pay the chef, the kitchen staff and the wait staff a higher than decent salary. The wait staff is lackadaisical, the chef has nothing but excuses for the myriad problems with the food and the menu is unimaginative. And no one cares to do anything about it. So sad for these folks.
