Firstat Home Health Services

In the past year I have used Firstat Home Health Services. I was assigned Nurse Sandy initially, but had requested her for my following surgeries. Sandy is a kind and compassionate professional. She was always prompt, has great communication skills and Sandy's calming presence was a tremendous gift during a difficult journey. I would definitely recommend Firstat. They were helpful with coordinating my care and working with my providers throughout my recovery. And I cannot recommend a better nurse than Sandy. I am so grateful for the outstanding care provided by Firstat, and am so grateful that they have such dedicated professionals in their employ like Nurse Sandy.

Lisa was a life saver after my total knee replacement surgery. The first agency was a no show when I went home from the hospital so I lost a week of therapy. Lisa stepped in and brought me up to speed. She knows her stuff and is so so nice but tough. I could never thank her enough!

I was fortunate enough to Sandy as my wound care Nurse. Sandy was professional and very courteous. The care and education I was given was second to none. Every interaction was pleasant and definitely valued. We joked, laughed but most of all knew I was well taken care of during each and every visit. I appreciate everything Sandy did for me and would highly recommend her for all your nursing needs.

Had skin cancer surgery, treatment, physical therapy exercises. In home care RN went "above & beyond". Sandy would text me day she would arrive to let time she would be here. Always very professional and caring. Showed me how to do my daily medical care. When I had appointment for my care she would work with me to work around my schedule. After my surgery she meant me at my buddies house since I had to spend the night to be observed. Sandy is a very kind, caring person, RN.

I just recently had open heart surgery. It was mentally a huge surprise to me. Pam was assigned to come to my home once I was released from the hospital. Pam is the nicest and most professional help I could have asked for. She gave me confidence in my recovery and was very knowledgeable on my condition and what suggestions I needed. Thank you Pam for coming to our home. They are lucky to have you!

The medical team (Dale, Jon, and Julie) at Firstat caring for my 89 year old mother, who is recovering from a hip replacement, is top notch. They all went out of their way to explain everything and answer our questions. The hospital wanted my mom to go to a rehab facility, but we knew she just wanted to come home. With their help, it was possible and she is doing amazing at home. You can tell they really care for their patients. A special shout out to her nurse Julie. She really did go above and beyond. She was very responsive to what my mom needed and worked directly with her primary doctor if she needed anything else. My mom was also very comfortable with her. Julie was wonderful to my mom and provided her with outstanding care.

Sandy is a great nurse. She and her assistant nurse Michele were both so kind and caring. I was treated like I was the most important person in the world. Sandy was able to accommodate my schedule. Michele was so very nice. I had colon surgery and found out I had cancer. My wound was not healing. I wanted to get started on Chemo. Theses two girls went above and beyond to take care of my wound. I will miss them both. Thank you Firstat for sending these special people into my life.
