We Fix Ugly Pools

Don’t risk it on this company. As other reviews have said, the communication and customer service is HORRIBLE from the owner and office staff. I should have listened to the other reviews but I was hopeful since people stated the quality of work was great. To give credit where credit is due- the crews were wonderful and respectful and did do good work. - I never knew when someone would be at my home until day of (via a text that someone was on their way), outside of one or two instances where I received a heads up about next steps. I had to call multiple times asking for updates and when someone would be continuing the work as days and days would go by with no communication. I was not provided a payment schedule or a project timeline until 3 weeks into the project due to the company not providing half of the contract initially, then insisting I had it, then realizing they never provided it for signature. I was not provided color options for decking, then was forced to make a decision within just hours because the "work was being done the next day" and they needed a selection (this resulted in a $190 "restocking fee" because I was as forced to make a selection in haste and changed my mind 10 minutes later. Owner says he will take me to small claims court over this). Inset rope hooks were removed without permission and when I attempted to address the concern with the company they told me they would give me $53 credit. They refused to call and speak with me claiming they would only communicate via text for "documentation". I asked multiple times for the owner to call me, after over a week and letting them know I filed a complaint with the BBB, I finally received a call. The owner was hostile, argumentative, called me a liar, threatened legal action and stated he didn’t care that I made a complaint to the BBB and said he "wouldn’t even respond to them because they have no legal recourse". Just poor business overall! I paid them the remaining $1800 of the $20k+ job (they claimed this was the reason they weren’t willing to address my concerns) and hope this serves as a warning for others!

There isn't a pool company in the valley that I'd even consider. These guys are by far the leaders of the pack. They are absolutely setting the bar very high and it shows. Great work guys Finally found "The pool guy" Thank you for all your hard work.

Update 4/12/25- 3 weeks passed since no return call for my leaking pool. After I called repeatedly they promised me a call (after months of a leak and now 5 no shows). No calls back. Our We Fix Ugly Pools new pool build is less than a year old and we've had three leaks. The first leak emptied the pool and flooded my yard and happened 4 months after it was filled (they came out and fixed it but I had to pay them several hundred dollars - which didn't seem right but I agreed to). I now have several more active leaks and it has been months since they've acknowledged it and have shown no urgency to fix it. Same old story of the people who have left 1-star reviews. After calling incessantly we get a notice someone will come out, clear our day to have them here (we work and arrange to stay home), and no one comes. This is on top of several items in the pool not finished despite paying them in full and on-time through the whole process. 80% of the pool lights have never worked and the pool vacuum lines don't work and were improperly installed. We just want a functional pool for the massive investment we've made for our family. I will continue to post updates on our situation until it it resolved. A HUGE THANK YOU TO WFUP!!!! Brian Morris and his team delivered on our pool that was 36 years old. In as little as 3 months with labor and material shortages, start to finish, I cannot thank Brian and his team enough for the spectacular work that was done. We have a 50K gallon pool and a 2K gallon spa. This was no easy task. Highly recommend!

Richard had come out by invitation for an estimate for a crack in my pool on the wall near the stairs. He spent an hour measuring and explaining the process and the steps if the crack was structural or just a shell crack. Talked with Brian Morris the owner who took the time to reiterate what and how things would be happening. I gladly signed a contract. During this process I met ( ALEXIS, DESTINEE, JOEL, LUIS, MINERVA, BIG MIKE). All of these workers are in house employees, no contractors lead the operation to empty my pool, tear out the old pebble tech, repair the crack, reinstall all new pebble tech and refilling of the pool, the clean up, the reset up, replace baskets, overflow flap, check all running parts, reset the chemicals, and the startup. This company has a greatest program called dispatch, it announces by e-mail and also by text who and when a technician will arrive to do the work. I never had such great communication with any other company as " WE FIX UGLY POOLS " HAD GIVEN ME. I truly Felt like I was being treated as family.

BAD KARMA will get this company in the end Don't waist your time with this company. This is after 6 months of them replacing tile line. They should be shut down.

Hired to replace the waterline tile on my large pool. They came right out and gave a reasonable estimate. I picked the tile and it was installed beautifully. Also did a light acid wash that really brightened up my blue quartz plaster. Workers were all very professional. The only issue I had was a lack of communication about when my project would start. They were a bit hard to contact at times but I understood that they were short staffed due to the pandemic. All in all I am very pleased and would recommend them.
