Denova Collaborative Health, Integrated Health Center

I’m not new to therapy, but I am new to Denova. So far so good! Their intake was so easy and they connected me with a therapist that truly hears me wants to hear my insights. I’m definitely making more progress than I’ve ever been able to previously with therapy. I’m about a month in and I know they offer other medical services as well. If you are looking for compassionate people, you’ve found it here. My therapist is Jessica Tindal and I fondly recommend her to anyone that needs an empathetic ear.

Fantastic counseling sessions via Zoom from the comfort of your home! Love my " faith based" counselor whom I requested, Kelli P. She has helped me move past my childhood trauma and a divorce from an abusive ex-husband. Without Kelli, I was stuck and not growing in my relationships. I’m so happy I was referred to Denova as Kelli has given me tools to take baby steps in my journey of forgiveness and healing. It has helped me set healthy boundaries with my current relationships and know what triggers are to make the necessary changes in future behaviors . Staff here is absolutely amazing and they actually care about me as a patient! My therapist Brittlee Mills is wonderful!! When I’m talking with her I feel super comfortable and she has a personality that you want to tell her EVERYTHING!! Also my PCP Dr Tompkins is great! She will sit with you and listen to what you say..

Absolutely Disgusted with This Office’s Unethical and Incompetent Billing Practices — and Questionable Medical Decisions If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with this office, especially their billing department, has been nothing short of outrageous and deeply frustrating. On 12/20/2024, I received a pre-final notice for a bill of $1,305, completely out of the blue. I immediately called on 12/23/2024 and was told to contact my insurance. Insurance confirmed they had paid their portion and directed me back to the provider's billing office. When I finally got through, I was told the amount was due to missed co-pays—despite the fact that I had repeatedly asked about any outstanding balances over the prior 10 months and was consistently told I owed nothing. Let that sink in: I actively and responsibly asked multiple times whether I owed anything, and was told no. Then, more than a year later, I’m hit with a massive bill and threatened with collections. I called again on 1/2/2025 and spoke to someone named Alex, who claimed to be a supervisor. When I asked how it was even ethical to send such a delayed, uncommunicated bill, he had no meaningful answer—only offering payment plans. He even admitted that the original insurance submission was in 7/2023, and was only resubmitted in 9/2024. That alone shows total disorganization and gross negligence. I declined the payment plan because I shouldn't be penalized for their internal failure to bill accurately and in a timely fashion. I requested to speak with someone higher up—no one ever followed up. I’ve since sent formal letters by mail, and still have not received a single response. And now, they’re pushing me to collections. This is more than just a miscommunication—it’s a complete ethical breakdown in billing. And for reference: AMA guidelines state that billing must be fair and transparent, with timely communication. HFMA standards recommend collecting co-pays at the time of service—not over a year later. Under the ACA, patients are protected from surprise billing like this. This office has failed on every front. But the billing disaster wasn’t the only issue—I was also mistreated medically. I came in with a lump and asked for a referral to a specialist. My PCP said she could run some tests first and ordered an ultrasound. That alone cost me $250, and (unsurprisingly) came back inconclusive. Then she ordered an MRI. When I inquired about the cost, it would have been $3,000 out of pocket! I declined and sought a second opinion. I found a dermatologist specialist myself, paid $150 out of pocket, and—shockingly—she was able to diagnose and resolve the issue in-office. It boggles my mind how medical professionals can subject patients to unnecessary tests and astronomical costs, while offering no clear diagnosis or value. If you value transparency, accountability, and ethical medical care, I strongly urge you to avoid this provider. As a responsible, proactive patient, I did everything I was supposed to do—only to be ignored, overcharged, and medically mismanaged. This office has shown a disturbing lack of respect for patients’ financial and physical well-being.

My therapist is Antoinette Verdin, she is amazing and we are a good fit for each other. I have also, had Whitney Hess which is an awesome therapist and was a good match for me as well. I have had nothing but positivity to share on this review. I have been very happy and satisfied with both my therapist and our session. We connect very well in our sessions, which I think is a very big plus in helping you to recover. I will base my experience on Antoinette since I am currently in session with her. I love today's session and the suggestion given, she have been very helpful and she is very uplifting and encouraging to me. Especially at times like today, when I really wasn't feeling my best. she is very understanding of the situation and helps me to focus on getting better with different techniques to try as suggestions. My anxiety was really bad among some worries and concerns. We tried meditation for the first time which helped me to relax and become grounded for the rest of today. My all around experience from the receptionist, to the therapist and psychologist has been amazing. I definitely would recommend coming here based on the two therapists I have seen and experienced.

I’m a new patient here, and I can honestly say I’ve never felt more welcome or at ease in a healthcare setting than with the providers at Denova. From intake to appointments, the people there are kind, supportive, and invested in your well-being. 10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking these services.

Super love Dr. Mills! Very nice person and she's very open and listens to me and asks questions and offers some of the best techniques to help me navigate through this crazy world! She deserves all the good things coming to her!
