I’ve had an outstanding experience with the team at Biltmore Psychology and Counseling. The front office staff is consistently prompt, warm, and professional. Dr. Debiase has been instrumental in my healing journey. She remembers the small details, listens with compassion, offers insightful perspectives, and provides practical, research-based tools that truly make a difference. I wholeheartedly recommend their services without hesitation.
Biltmore Psychology and Counseling is an amazing place to find support, guidance and counsel on whatever challenges one might be facing! The front office staff (Tracy, Keele and Emily) is beyond friendly, efficient and helpful at everything from initial paperwork and getting started, to scheduling or admin details and they do so with such warm smiles and friendly grace. The therapists all have various backgrounds and training. I needed a trauma trained therapist to help me navigate choosing estrangement and freedom from a violently physically past abusing family member who continued to bully and abuse, verbally and emotionally and who retained control over some facets of my life. Elizabeth Felix is an amazing therapist. Not only did she provide a safe place to land, to recount a very challenging past but she helped me navigate my present and future to an efficient and successful, empowering choice of complete freedom via estrangement. It's safe to say I wouldn't have found my way so solidly or quickly (in two months), without her guidance, counsel and support. I am choosing to continue working with her, on whatever life brings, out of sheer enjoyment and because the benefits are so obvious. While I can only speak to my own experiences and there are a million reasons one seeks counseling and support, I am beyond grateful my online search for a therapist led me to Biltmore Psychology and Counseling. Feeling one needs support and guidance and not knowing where to go can seem daunting. And I wasn't interested in faith or religious themed support. I have experience with a few other therapists in my life, for very specific events and it is safe to say my time and money here are exceptionally well spent and worth far more in what I have gotten from them. It's a warm, welcoming place and staff, to tackle whatever you've got and need help with. And if like me, you want therapy to be specifically goal oriented, it can be and you will see the fruits of your work quickly enrich your well being and life. As a helpful tip, I pre wrote a therapy primer about myself and my past, to jump start the intake and questions, beginning my therapy. Elizabeth meets every client or patient where they are, she welcomed my doing so and it enabled us to get to work very quickly. She let me guide our work but always has insights and tips to aid and further our work. And she asks powerful questions that generate wonderful follow up in the quiet times alone, after sessions. Revealing one's self right out of the gate can seem intimidating. But it proved more than worthwhile in our work together. The strength, joy and self advocacy I found, from my few months with her are a powerful force or gift to myself. I have met and witnessed other therapists there and their compassion, calm and care are obvious. Please consider Biltmore Psychology and Counseling for yourself. They CAN help you help yourself. And you may really enjoy the process.
Great facility and staff, the front desk makes scheduling easy and their website is detailed and easy to navigate! Dr. Linda has been incredible, as a couples therapist and 1 on 1 therapist. As someone who put off going to therapy for over 15 years, Dr. Linda and the staff have made embracing therapy easy. Grateful to have found this place, and Dr. Linda!!
I have been working with Dr. Dibiase for over a month, and she has truly been a blessing in my life. I approached her with both health concerns and significant anxiety. In our very first session, through her incredible brainspotting techniques, she equipped me with tools that initiated my healing process. As a medical professional, I had never encountered brainspotting before, but it has been remarkably effective. While it’s important to approach it with an open mind, the results were immediate for me. After just one session, I went from feeling overwhelmed and depressed about my eye health to feeling empowered and ready to fight. I’m thrilled to report that my eye has almost fully healed, my anxiety levels have significantly decreased, and I no longer wake up in the middle of the night with stress. Dr. Dibiase doesn’t just treat symptoms—she provides you with the tools to help your brain heal your body, though it does require your commitment. I am beyond grateful for her guidance and these transformative techniques
I had an excellent experience with Biltmore Psychology. I’d tried therapy a couple times, starting in childhood and an adult, but never found a lot of success. The individual I worked with worked quickly to understand me and the issues I was experiencing, some of which I needed help understanding or identifying. We put together a plan for my treatment with goals that we established together - something I’d never even heard of in my other attempts - and checked in on my progress rad appropriate. I would have continued being a patient if I didn’t move out of state and desired to find someone local, and Biltmore even helped me with a referral that I have found to be a great fit as well.
Dr. Linda is a gem. She helped with my crippling panic attacks that were impacting my daily life. For anyone dealing with panic attacks or an anxiety disorder, she is amazing. I only wish that I had known about her and brainspotting a decade ago. Highly recommend!
Could not recommend Biltmore Psychology and Counseling more! My partner and I completed premarital counseling at BPC and were pleased with our experience. They are professional, inclusive, compassionate and are invested in our care. They have been able to accommodate our needs through each season of my family’s life and have recently been a resource through navigating postpartum anxiety. Absolutely adore our therapist and Keele at the front desk is always so helpful!
