I started seeing providers at AZ Gynecology about 3 months ago and have been very fortunate with my experiences. After the last 6 months of an irregular cycle, pain, and confusion, my providers quickly offered options and got working on a plan to get me taken care of. I’ve experienced exceptional service in office, as well as during a recent surgery (hysteroscopy). My only negative experience was a girl with the billing department a few days ago; she was extremely rude and short, and was argumentative with me rather than helpful. However, I understand billing can be a tough conversation so I have empathy for her, I however would recommend the same practice for her. Overall- thank you Dr Liggins and Dr Olivera for taking great care of me so far!

First impressions are important and I really can’t say enough good things about Dr Lesley Myrick. Her laugh is infectious and she makes you feel at ease. She’s easy to talk to and she’s a great listener. It’s hard to find a doctor and I’m excited to know I don’t have to look elsewhere. Thank you for being Awesome!!

Every appointment I have had with her she is always full of energy and in the happiest mood! Hands down the best OBGYN. I recently switched my original OBGYN to this one and I wish I would’ve changed sooner. Everyone in the office is friendly and very professional. I love him so much, i love the way he takes his time to educate you and properly explain everything. Such a wonderful man! Always truthful and honest! Dr. Lythgoe listens. He is very kind hearted and is very respectful. He explains everything and makes sure you understand everything. I have been coming to him for 19 years. He has been there for all 4 of my pregnancies. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I appreciate his office staff especially Dona and his practice.

I’ve been coming to see Dr. Lythgoe since 2009 and he’s been phenomenal! I had my 1st child through him and now my last baby that I’m currently in. The care that he gives I know that my baby and I are in great hands. Also, he was also my moms Dr. In the late 90’s, early 2000’s and she spoke very highly of him and that’s how I came in contact with his care. I’m very happy to have him as my Dr. Highly recommend!

I recommend him to all of my family and friends. He is kind, calm, extremely knowledgeable, honest and has the best bedside manners! His team is incredible and they help make the whole experience as seamless as possible. The office is centrally located and they even have a lab in office which makes it so much better to do the glucose tests there rather than going to a random place. From having a horrible experience with my first OBGYN, I switched to Dr. Culbertson’s office and it was the BEST decision my partner and I could’ve had. Dr. Bruce Culbertson is a wonderful doctor. He delivered my daughter three years ago at St Joseph’s, which led us to become his patient at Midtown OBGYN. We just had our second baby in February and couldn’t be happier with his professionalism and kindness during the pregnancy, as well as his staffs. My husband and I highly recommend Dr. Bruce Culbertson and Midtown OBGYN.

Dr. Culbertson was absolutely wonderful at taking care of me and my baby! Not only was I impressed that I got to meet with my doctor at every appointment, almost every time I had an appointment I came with a list of questions, and he never made me feel rushed and took the time to explain and answer everything. During my pregnancy I had a few bumps in the road, and ended up having my baby 5 weeks early, and the whole time Dr. Culbertson made sure I was informed on everything going on, he was always reassuring to me during the scary moments, and he was certainly a doctor who made me feel heard, which seems to be a rare quality in providers these days. Having him and his nurse Stephanie throughout my pregnancy was such a blessing and I thank him so much for the health of me and my baby boy 🙂

Dr Culbertson is a great doctor, I recommend him to all my friends! He has such a calm and relaxing vibe to him that he makes you feel calm yourself. He handled my pregnancy and all my questions so well. I even came in twice a week so we could make sure everything was perfect with my baby. Not only did I love him but I also love how clean the office is ,how nice the front desk girls were and I absolutely adored my sonographer. I don’t plan on ever having another baby but if I did, he would be who I’d want as my OB again.

I’ve been going to Dr Bruce for years – he delivered both my babies. He also tied my tubes. He’s been a good doctor. He spends time with you and makes sure to answer any questions you may have. However, the front office has gotten worse and worse over the years. They used to have a sign in sheet but now they don’t. I went to the front desk to sign in and one of the ladies was on the phone. She could’ve put up a finger to me that she’d be with me in a minute or mouth those words to me, but she ignored me entirely. Both ladies did (I’m not sure if the other one was on the phone). I asked another patient if we had to sign in – she said she wasn’t sure but didn’t think so. I said something like “they didn’t even acknowledge me.” When I finally got called up to the window, the receptionist made it a point to tell me she was on the phone. That’s all fine, but acknowledge people. Customer service is like this everywhere nowadays and it isn’t good. Just acknowledge people.

Dr. Bruce is the best! He is always so wonderful & caring. He makes sure all my questions are answered and I never feel rushed or judged during my appointments. His nurse Cindy is always so sweet! Recommend 100%

Dr. Bruce was extremely professional and kind. Answered any questions I had and seemed like he truly cares about me and my needs. This is my 5th pregnancy but this is my first pregnancy with Dr. Bruce, he’s by far the best OB/GYN I have ever seen. I was referred to Dr. Corey Bruce by a family member and I am so thankful. I was very nervous going to my first appointment as it can be a scary first time thing. Dr. Bruce is an experienced, thorough, and kind doctor. I came to him for possible inferitilty. He listened to my personal situation and ordered the appropriate tests and exams to assess. He then referred me to a specialist. Now I am using him for pre-natel care. This may seem small -but he is very gentle when he does exams and ultrasounds. I have had doctors that are rough and it hurt to sit the next day! When I ask questions, he answers them thoroughly and walks me through steps. I have had doctors that seem impatient or can be a little belittling when you have concerns about things. Dr Bruce is never like that. When I had a miscarriage he was SO kind and understanding. He said exactly what I needed to hear mentally and emotionally and I felt encouraged to try again in the future. His office staff is also very helpful and kind. Cindy that does your vitals is extremely kind. Finding good office staff is difficult these days. I am so happy I found Dr. Bruce.

Dr. Higley is hands down the BEST! I recently had my baby girl, and had to have an emergency c-section and I couldn’t have imagined having gone through that experience with another doctor. He was not only professional, but also so understanding and kind. Aside from taking care of me, he was so sweet and loving towards my baby girl. He genuinely cares about his patients.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Higley for many years now. I couldn’t be any more happier and satisfied with the level of care I’ve received from him and Bella’s staff. Bella has labs at their practice which also makes it very convenient. I cannot imagine trusting my health with any other Obgyn. Dr. Higley is the absolute best, highly recommended!!

Renee did not make me feel welcomed whatsoever. Would never see her again. Someone else here wrote how it felt dry and I agree. I tried asking questions and she made it seem like I should have already known the answers when it came to the topic. I felt like I was doing majority of the talking to keep the conversation moving and she was forced to be there. (???) I don’t understand why she wasn’t more kind or at least somewhat interested. Everyone else I interacted with was nice. Left feeling frustrated and saddened.

Very friendly, knowledgeable, spent time to talk to me about my concerns which I really liked. She didn’t seem rushed, and she was compassionate which is big for a doctor. Sometimes they seem so sterile but Renee did not!

Renee was very pleasant and professional during my first visit. Her assistant Ashley was also very nice and engaging. I do think some of the office staff need to do a better job with their people skills. For example: The check out desk personnel and the phlebotomists there were a bit unprofessional. I felt the woman who drew my blood was rude and couldn’t answer my questions & made no attempt to even try (no customer service) she treated me like a number, no smile, no personality and aside from that I have a bruise where she poked me which is an indication that she’s not very good at her job.

Renee is an exceptional nurse practitioner who truly cares about her patients. She is attentive and showed a genuine concern for addressing all of my questions and concerns. I felt heard and valued during my appointment.

The front desk ladies seemed annoyed, the nurse that first came in, I didn’t really like. But Renee was amazing, she was so kind, gentle, listened to everything I said. I really appreciate that. Will definitely be back for more appointments with her

Renee was very dry, not personable at all. Kind of made me feel stupid, during a bit of talk regarding medications I was/should’ve been taking. It was clear to me she was dealing with me because she had to, not because she wanted to – didn’t do much that hide that either. Probably the only bad experience I’ve had at this location and I personally would never recommend anyone I care about to her, and will always ask to be switched to someone else if she’s an option for future medical care.

Save yourself the time to get proper care and don’t go here. This practice will have you waiting an hour and a half for an appointment you showed up 30+ minutes in advanced for with forms already completed online. Not to mention that your appointment itself will last 10 minutes tops and you will leave needing yet another appointment with a more competent and adequate doctor (aka no doctors here) because NOTHING was accomplished. Trusts me, you don’t want the care they have to offer. I have already canceled any future care I would have gotten here – I am leaving this review to leave anyone who reads it one step ahead and push them as far away from this place as possible. You will thank me.

And since everyone else here is already saying it, Dr. Thompson is the WORST! Not a tender or caring bone in her body. People saying that she will talk AT you and DOWN to you are absolutely right. I felt like I couldn’t talk at my own doctors appointment! Some people should have thought about the heartlessness within them before they decided to take on the face-to-face care of other people. I am so sorry that witch made you lovely ladies cry and feel small. You are worth something and she is but a fly in your trap, throw that thing out and move on with your life – find the care each and every one of you deserve.

If you or your family have history of pcos, fibroids, or anything else stay far far away. I have pcos with inconsistencies in my history. I have typically have unusual period symptoms but I had very unusual symptoms that made me and my family very worried.

Made an appointment and was able to get in next day. I felt extremely unheard, being told that sometime we have weird periods, I over reacted for no reason, I should be on birth control and loose weight.

After being lectured on all the above, I was told they’ll go ahead and schedule some blood work and an ultrasound. It felt like an after thought.

I had been here a few times before and it was all just “ok” but I will not be return

I have went here for years and the care and customer service has always been good. But I have called everyday for the last week to make an appointment and get no answer. The phone rings, says the mall box is full and rings some more. And I can’t even ask for an appointment online because it won’t let me submit the form.

Dr. Thompson is the most condescending & rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life. And she’s an MD? I guess she wasn’t taught good bedside banners in medical school. She gaslit me, told me i’m wrong & i don’t know how things work or how to read my own lab results. She knows nothing of my chronic & autoimmune diseases but yet told me that’s now how they work. She practically kicked me out of the “practice” when she realized i wasn’t going to let her step all over me. She is the worst. Micromanaging, controlling and straight up evil to the girl at the front desk. She needs Jesus in her life. I do not recommend this place at all. The PA/NP natasha was lovely though. 10/10 for natasha.

I have been going to this office for over 20 years now. I have had 3 pregnancies with two live births and have seen Dr. Thompson now for several years for annual checks. They are always professional and friendly, and have some of the best staff around. Their phlebotomist has been there the entire time I’ve been going to this office! That’s saying something. Close to the hospital and convenient to downtown, they’ve treated me well for many years.

I used to see Kassandra Nunez here who was incredible. She left the practice and my care was taken over by Dr. Thompson. She was immediately rude and dismissive about my concerns with my endometriosis spreading, and told me to just take birth control “if you THINK you have endo.” it’s almost like she didn’t review my chart at all to see it had been surgically diagnosed and confirmed, or that I had had several other issues with birth control. I felt like I was being talked AT, and like I was stupid. Luckily, after searching for about 2 years, I have found a doctor who took my concerns seriously, and as of three weeks ago I had a total hysterectomy. They found endometriosis everywhere, including on my liver, which is apparently rare and something I will need to continue to monitor and deal with. If my concerns had been properly addressed, this probably would not have happened. All of this to say, if you want a doctor who will be negligent with your care and allow your serious health issues to progress, see Dr. Thompson. Can’t imagine why she would want any of her patients to be in this serious of pain and only offer birth control. It’s lazy, it’s dismissive, it’s unprofessional, and it’s not safe.

Dr. Thomas actually cares. She is very knowledgeable and works quickly and efficiently. 10/10 would recommend!

Dr. Hervey delivered my first child and he made my experience so amazing. I have heard so many mothers horror stories about hospital staff pressuring and pushing them around at birth. When I was in the delivery room, Dr. Hervey came in and announced that I was the primary decision maker and everyone needed to be on board with it. He was my biggest advocate during birth and changed the trajectory of everything just with his presence! Having a doctor that cares so much about his patients and protecting them is such a rare beauty to come across nowadays. I am now pregnant with my second and had my first visit with Dr. Merrell a week ago. I’m blown away by how caring, intentional, and gentle both of these doctors have been during my most vulnerable times. These are the types of individuals that change lives!

When I was pregnant and they were doing renovations + updating system somehow my cash payment turned into collection. After the receptionist told me numerous times “it’s ok, ignore it it’ll reflect soon”. So now because of them I have a negative impact on my credit score for something they should’ve handled.
Was scheduled for an appointment only to find out the receptionist never put it into their system.
Since the new system update + new location, getting a hold of someone has become very rare.
After having my second child, I asked to be on a birth control pill. Was never told it didn’t have estrogen so now I have to look for another doctor who will help me with hormone replacement therapy in order for me to become pregnant again.

Last straw was they never communicated that my doctor there had left! Only reason I was a patient was for Melissa.

Lack of communication and structure within receptionist + billing .

I had to transfer from a home birth to the hospital and eventually had an unplanned c-section and even though there was not a single thing that I didn’t have to change from my original plan, Dr. Hervey helped me to make that informed decision with 0 pressure. He was incredibly calm, knowledgeable, caring, everything you want in a doctor delivering your baby. I am so glad that I had established care with him prior just in case of that exact scenario, it took some unknown out of a very stressful hospital transfer.

Absolutely amazing care. I had my first baby with Dr. Hervey and his team and I’m so thankful they are giving the kind of care they are. They listen, educate and really care. I’m a nurse midwife and highly recommend this practice to all of my friends.

This place was very inviting and comfortable to be in compared to the other OB offices I went to when I was pregnant with my daughter. Dr. Hervey was amazing and smart and honest. I asked to get my tubes removed during my C section and he advised me to think about that decision before making that choice. The high risk pregnancy experience I had was not an easy one, especially due to the distance I had to drive to get to any doctor and the doctors I saw before Hervey, I felt like this was the only time I’d ever want to be pregnant. He even asked me if I was sure while I was opened up during my c section. My life changed so much after having my gorgeous daughter. I would do anything to go back in time and listen to Dr. Hervey and think it through. I wish I could have 10 more of my daughter. She was so worth it.

Dr. Hervey is amazing and so our his staff. He always made me feel heard , safe and respected. I’d recommend him to any women especially dealing with high risk pregnancy. I came to him wanting to do a VBAC he was open to what I wanted out of my birth of my child and didn’t judge. He guided and made suggestions. Never pushed for a c section either

I recently visited Premier OB/GYN and had a disappointing experience with Nurse Kelby. She quoted me a price for a service, but the final bill was much higher.

Clear communication about pricing is essential, and I wish I had received accurate information upfront. I hope the staff can improve this for future patients.

I can’t say enough good things about this office and their PV location. The front desk staff is always friendly and efficient and have worked around my schedule many times to fit me in.

Absolutely love this office Dr. Tsang is amazing, her communication, and compassion is everything. Also medical assistant Kristen deserves a raise, she has always been kind, helped me through all my paperwork, always responds to messages on the portal, always polite, so officiant, did all my paperwork for my job, my surgeries, she is genuinely amazing and i appreciate her so much .

I am beyond disappointed in the very unprofessional manner all the nurses work here. All the doctors conduct was no better rushed, uninterested, and lacking any empathy. I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and genuinely concerned about the quality of care being provided at this office.
Healthcare should be compassionate, inclusive, and professional. Sadly, this office failed on all counts. I would not recommend to anyone who values dignity and respectful treatment.

I’m not one to ever leave reviews, let alone a bad one, but I am beyond irritated. I had a referral to them and my first appointment was canceled with only a couple days notice. My second appointment (scheduled weeks later as the next earliest available) was canceled an hour and a half before on the day of my appointment. I once again got scheduled out several weeks just to be seen for the first time. I have been in pain since needing the referral, and so far have not been able to receive the care I need. In total, I have been waiting to be seen for over 7 weeks for a first appointment. I understand things come up in the medical field, but I do not feel that my pain and concerns are being taken seriously. I will be seeking care elsewhere.

I am deeply disappointed in my experience with Dr. Amber Tsang. What began as a routine request for a simple letter to verify my pregnancy turned into an alarming situation that ultimately jeopardized my privacy and personal safety.

Not only did Dr. Tsang fail to follow through on a written request I had made weeks prior, a request she acknowledged in conversation with a third party, she then claimed to not recall writing the letter when confronted. Even more disturbing, she engaged in a phone call with my landlord without my consent and discussed the letter’s legitimacy, implicitly confirming I was her patient. This is a direct breach of my privacy. Whether or not she disclosed specific health information, HIPAA regulations clearly prohibit even acknowledging a patient relationship without authorization. As a healthcare professional, she should know better.

Her negligence and lack of accountability contributed to an ongoing legal conflict with my landlord, placing me and my unborn child in an incredibly stressful and unsafe situation. This is not the standard of care anyone should receive from an OB/GYN. If you are looking for a provider who takes your privacy and well-being seriously, I would strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

I feel like I need to preface this by letting you know I can be a bit of a health care snob…..

CWH is a wonderful place, filled with caring and compassionate staff. I love my NP, Holly. She laughs and jokes and lets me ask ALL the questions. She is professional and personable. She is not quick to jump to any conclusions and is very thorough in her approach.

I actually showed up early for my apt and I was out in 25 mins- 12 of those minutes spent with staff!

I highly recommend CWH! On a side note- I absolutely LOVE they care for ALL people. In another review a person was extremely nasty regarding “the clientele”. Everyone deserves high quality care. Thank you CWH!
